Kopi's underhanded attack catches Clay off-guard (and right in the back of the head) and he crumples down. Holly and Honedge's combined hammering take Fan out shortly afterward. It's all down to Ashley for their side now!

~~Round 7~~ Holly slashes at Ashley with shadowy claws!
Shadow Claw AC 2 vs ZFDNS1Wb1d20 Crit 17+ Damage: 2d10+37
Ashley collapses with a cry of rage/pain even as her third pokemon, Conflag the Torkoal emerges. It blinks in confusion only to see three foes staring it down. It decides that it's own pride isn't worth getting beaten up, even if it could totally take them all. However, with its mistress unconscious nearby, it can't use its biggest moves without fear of accidentally harming her in the process. So it surrenders without a fight. Team Reilly wins!
Rei, Clay, and Holly each earn 80 Poke XP from Laurel and 61 Poke XP from Aislinn.
Rei and Holly earn an additional 60 Poke XP from Ashley's two Pokemon.
Clay earns an additional 54 from Rei's two Pokemon.
Both parties earn 3 Misc XP.1d20·2d10+37

Getting hit with the fire was a bit more damaging, but Star would see this through. Tiki keeps close between her foes, and lets out a guard shattering screech. It is strangely melodic, and it is almost a song to bolster their own defenses. Star then charges the lampent, and attempts to bite it.

"Ugh, stop that!" Clay clutches at his ears as Tiki's high-pitched screech pierces the air. Flower lets out a high, keening hiss of her own as Star bites her, sharp teeth scratching at the shadowy surface of her body. Clay hisses back, "Stay focused! You've got more power than you think!" A blue aura gathers around his forehead, and around Flower as well, fading into the glow of her flame.
Clay bounds forward, trying to reduce Tiki's tactical advantage. If he can stay up close, maybe it will be harder for her to concentrate on her music, as well as making him and Flower together a less tempting target. He swings his staff low at Tiki's legs to try and trip her up. Meanwhile, Flower floats back slightly, out of the reach of Star's jaws - and out of the blast radius of another burst of fire.

Tiki is quick on her feet , and is able to dodge Clay's attack. She also notices Flower pull away, and that is no good. She quickly makes a swap to her next pokemon. Out comes a bright red octopus! It's Moon the Octillery. "You're up now, Moon! Your target is that floating lamp there!" As it flops its arms around, Moon's eyes lock straight onto Flower. Tiki then lets out more loud shouting.

Clay manages to block his ears before Tiki shouts, this time. He hops around in front of her, trying to distract her and to keep from presenting too easy a target, before suddenly lashing out with his foot in a shattering blow. A Water-type up against Flower is not good news, in the slightest, especially with the way it locks eyes with the fiery ghost, but Flower counters with an eerie beam of dizzying light, hoping to confuse Moon for at least a moment.

Clay makes a frustrated noise when Flower goes down in a splatter of watery ink. Well, he'd known this wasn't going to be an easy fight. He recalls Flower in favor of Peng - probably the least powerful of his team in terms of brute force, but almost certainly the best option against an Octillery.
He opts to focus on keeping moving rather than striking out - he still has one more Pokémon waiting in the wings, and he'd prefer making himself hard to target to the potential to take Tiki down faster. He quacks out, "You know what to do!"
Peng nods, and bows to Moon before charging forward, leek swinging fast enough to cut.

Despite taking the hard hit, Moon is still going good. They double down on doing damage. Moon's eyes immediatly lock onto the birb, and tries to glomp it. Tiki then lets out another big scream which hits a really high note.

Peng is just barely still standing by the time he gets free of Moon's tentacles - and then Tiki's sonic scream takes care of that, and bowls Clay over in the bargain. He doesn't get back up.
At this point, Fan dashes onto the field, screeching indignantly as she barrels straight towards Tiki. Of course, there's an octopus in her way.

Fan weathers Tiki's assault and even Moon's blast of ink. She doesn't look happy about that last one, though, and is left trying to shake it off of her face. She turns to go after the source of Clay's misfortune, flames surrounding her fists as she pinwheels towards Tiki.
