As Rei is walking, she suddenly trips over something. Looking around though, it seems like she just tripped on air. The mild pain in her shin, however, says whatever she ran into was quite solid.

Clay will start off that way as well, trying to keep an eye out for potential traces of this giant Pokémon. Or other interesting tracks, for that matter. Red Child's on his home turf, his nose to the ground as he snuffles around for a trail.

Red Child sees Rei go down and rushes to see if she's okay and see what hit her or whatever. He snuffles around and then begins barking at something nobody can see.

Red Child says there is something here, but he can't seem to see it. He can smell it though! (Dogs can't distinguish color, last I checked.) As you peer closer, you see a very thin, jagged red stripe just kinda.. floating there. Whut?! What sorcery is this?!

He reaches out to try and poke it.

Clay receives a nasty bite on his finger while Kaeda feels something kinda.. scaly? Like a lizard! The invisible pokemon became visible! The startled Pokemon fled!

Red Child proceeds to do what Red Child does best and chases after it! (You can roll command to get him to stop, but otherwise he's chasing the thing until he gets it or it escapes him.)

Some people would probably try to get Red Child to stop chasing the fleeing Pokémon. Some people are not Clay, who is of a mind to have words with this critter about tripping his friends and biting him. He's off running after them!

"Tiki, weren't you also looking for other pokemon yourself? Can you blame Clay for going after some more himself? Please don't yell at him."
Rei looks around at the area.
"In fact, if he doesn't take long, he can have Red Child track us or just see us, this being a plain and all. Let's keep going Tiki."

Tiki pouts, and grumbles. "My idea to come out here..." She follows Rei, and keeps her eyes peeled for anything resembling the pokemon she's looking for.

After a little while, Tiki thinks she spots it! Only for it to turn out to be a much bigger version of Red Child. Probably its evolved form. It doesn't seem to see you as a threat, but Rei can tell it's watching them as it walks over to the watering hole to get a drink.
