"I am a Pokemon Nurse and while I abhor what they did to this land to make room for the buildings, but when you blew up that ship, you dumped gasoline, electronics, and thousands of tons of metal into the water. Right now, those Pokemon who reside there are suffering because of what you did and you don't seem to care," growls Aiden as he takes a few steps forward, "If you were truly worried about the Pokemon's habitat, you could have gone to one of the Professors and tried to figure out a way to lessen the impact on the environment, they would have listened. With what you're doing now, you're no better than Team Rocket. You are keeping me from my patients in the water who need help to make sure they haven't horribly poisoned or injured because of your foolhardy and asinine plan."
Aiden's eyes narrow menacingly while glaring at the attackers, "If I find one crushed Pokemon, or one killed because of the gasoline you dumped into the ocean, I will hunt you down. I made a vow to protect ALL Pokemon and you just hurt them."

The leader laughed at Genki, "You believe that this is progress? Destroying that which nature has created to build on it, to destroy that which has existed naturally? A few small explosions, destroying these buildings now will cause only a tiny piece of damage, a few shards of metal sent back to the lands from which they came, some photo-electric generators reduced back into their constituent parts. The disruption that we will cause will be minor, an inconsequential inconvenience, compared to the damage you would cause with your desire to build new cities- you are just the sort who have caused the need for reserves and conservation. There were no rarities until we came along and tried to control them. Now you crow about this being a good thing, you are just a foolish child."
Another of the people smirked at Aiden, "Blew up a ship? Why in Arceus' name would we blow up a ship? It is our transport out of here. Fully naturally powered and environmentally friendly, and certainly very intact. Of course, I suppose you 'nurses' with your chemicals never really pay attention to what is going on- net launchers are not fullof gasoline or anything else dangerous. Perhaps you should look before you cut... if you ever want to be a successful healer." they said, gesturing back down the beach for a moment with their net gun.

Thinking these people are zealots, and not truly believing there is any hope or talking these people of a ledge. Genki pauses to reflect. They come across as people who truly believe in their cause with extreme depth, but lust for chaos and and causing harm to others. It seemed to Genki they were extremists who wanted nothing more than to make devastating news headlines to draw attention to their crusade. Not wanting to stoop to three level of brute force, he attempted to let cooler heads prevail.
Clipping his poke balls back to his belt, but letting chinch remain, he spoke peacefully in an attempt to lower tensions; all while being aware that bombs were being set all about, "OK, I do see your motives, and I agree that pokemon should be protected. Your methods though, don't leave much room for respect, nor does it endear people to want to listen to what you have to say. Things are in chaos right now, is this truly the only way? I fear, your actions will only lead to more aggression, and evan animosity towards your group, who's ideals are sound, and for sure, it would be a same to go unheard and unheeded."

"Have you even stopped to consider what the Pokemon want?" Cole placed a hand over his heart, taking another step forward. "Have you considered they may be as excited to have us as we are to be here? Have you never witnessed the bond between Humans and Pokemon before? I have." Cole reached into his bag and casually released Wisp, who immediately twirled at the sight of his trainer and held on to Cole's leg. "There is a bond, a string of fate, that forms deep in the souls of Pokemon and the Humans who's heart burns with a passion for them. No one can explain it, the why or how it exists, but it is certainly there. It is there even in the heat of a first battle's meeting. No, it is there especially at such times, when Pokemon and Trainer test the strength of each other's spirit, feeling out the flame that burns within. The brighter that flame, the mightier the bond." Cole clasped both hand over his chest, then rose them high into the air, reaching out to an invisible bonfire before him. Wisp took the cue helped by flaring the candle flame on his head.
"Gathered here on this island is the most ecologically conscious group of Trainer perhaps ever gathered." Cole lowered his hands and cast his gaze along the landscape, where not even an hour ago dozens of trainers were bustling with excitement. "I saw in every Professor, every worker, shopkeep, and Trainer here a heart of blazing white fire. A Hundred beacons calling out to the Pokemon who seek them. And we do all seek it, Pokemon and Trainer alike, we seek the call of that fire in each other."
Cole paused and closed his eyes. When he reopened them, he wore a fierce, blue glare that bored into the chests of the would-be attackers."But when I look into your hearts? I do not see that flame. I see dim, sputtering embers. They are the hearts of people who do not understand Pokemon, who would falsely claim to protect them while pursuing their own goals, heedless of anyone else. Is that your desire? Do you wish to deny the Pokemon of this island the bonds that last lifetimes? Do you do this without their consent? Do you wish to deny them destiny?"

"Had you even tried approaching the Professors peacefully?" asks Aiden, facing the two with the net guns. "And for the boat, I didn't see the explosion, I was inside a building and came out to check on the Trainers and saw a boat out of the water and thought some had happened to it, for that I apologize. I would never cut before double checking what was going on."
Aiden looks to Genki and Cole, "I have to agree with those two," he motions towards the people with net launchers, "the methods in which this area was cleared is horrible. Many of the people who came to this island are the most Pokemon-friendly people in the world. Hell, one of the first things I wanted to do was to help make this area more green through the use of solar panels and try to minimize the amount of waste we are producing because we're all just visitors here."
Turning back to face the attackers, "You could also give us time to try an make things more green now that your concerns have been voiced. We just want to co-exist peacefully with Pokemon and others."

The leader shook his head as he grabbed something from his belt, "You don't get it, do you? We did petition the professors, the science academies, everybody and they ignored us, dismissed our concerns and worries and instead came here. They don't see how terrible their actions are, allowing trainers to come here and force the natives into captivity and to fight, how can that be right? We may not be able to save their brothers and sisters in the rest of the world, but we can here- if we can stop you now, then only a few will be harmed." His companions grabbed something from their belts, clearly also ready for a fight, they knew it must be coming soon, especially as the three trainers confronting them were clearly willing to fight.

"Then we will talk to the Professors as well. The fact they allowed this much destruction already doesn't make sense; it doesn't seem like them at all. I can't speak for the other trainers, but I didn't come here to capture Pokemon as my main priority. I came to study and keep people and Pokemon alive and well..." says Aiden quietly, watching the leader. "Is there any way we could work together to try and make this place more eco-friendly? If you can get a boat to run completely green, then I would love to be able to get that help with the buildings here and bring some ideas forward to the Professors."

Aiden's suggestion sounded great to Genki, and these fellas sure do enjoy talking. They defiantly had everyone's attention; if not there utmost respect. Genki had been considering just walking away from these people, going inside, and getting the professors himself, but didn't, for that would mean abandoning his brother and new found friend.
"Let's see what the professors have to say, face to face," Genki added to Aiden's suggestion.

Cautiously, Cole shielded Wisp behind one leg. He waited in silence otherwise, having said his piece. Despite his in-the-moment bravado at the beach, Cole was not itching for a battle. That did not mean he was not prepared for one, only that he would wait and see what his brother and Aiden could do first.

Addressing the assailants, "all right, if that's the way you want it, that's on you."Looking to Aiden and Cole, "looks like we're on, you ready?" he snatched up two poke balls from his belt, "let's have each others backs."Genki triggers his Quick Switch ability"Prima, this is no fight for you, you could get really hurt," with the pokeball in his right hand he recalled his Chinchou, and with the left he summoned his Ralts by his side. Attachment Deleted"OK Snare, these people are being bullies, you up for a fight?" he asked encouragingly. With a curt nod and a chirp of consent, Ralts faced the attachers and balled his tiny fists as they began to crackle with purple energy. Returning attention to his aggressors, "Allow me to show you the strength that comes from the true friendship I share with my pokemon." Looking at the lineup; Paras, Oddish, Budew and Foongus; and being across from, and closest to the Foongus, Genki figured that was a perfectly good place to start. ::unless anyone can beat Ralts current speed of 17, I'll take the following action:: "Snare stay close to me! Snare opened with a withering blast of psychic energy at the nearby foongus slamming it down into the ground and dealing it a telling blow, but not managing ot do enough to put it out of the fight immediately. Gustav followed that with an almost as speedy dive down onto the oddish, flinging it backwards and causing it serious harm though not managing to take it fully out of the fighting.
Kiba dashed towards the paras, fiting a blast of flames at the little creature, slamming inot it and wreathing it in flamesthat sapped all of its ability to fight before it could even act.
The leader of the group gave a grim half-smile, "Then we will fight. You leave us no option, Fleur- Grasswhistle." he ordered, the little budew doddering forwards slightly then giving a high-pitched whislting tune aimed at Kiba causing the growlithe to drop into a drowsy sleep.
"Sprout, Sunny Day, let's get things started!" the second ordered, his oddish's leaves glowing slightly as the sun in the sky became suddenly harsher and enlivening many of the grass-types.
Finally the foongus was ordered forwards, "Gus, use absorb!" they ordered as a glow enwrapped Snare and drained energy from him (OOC: 19-SDef damage) and restored it's health.
Finally, the oddish's trainer grabbed a small pouch from their belt, flinging it directly at Aiden, "Sleep-tight, join your growlithe!" hecrowed as the powder exploded over Aiden making him suddenly sleepy and drowsy as well and robbing him of consciousness.

'They're throwing knockout gas?' Genki became weary of these peoples intent towards immobilizing anything that gets in their way, by a variety on means.
Snare felt the energy drain from his body and shook off the lethargy that coursed through him as the effects of the absorb ebbed. The damage was more spiritual than physical, but the pint sized Ralts was still in the fight. Rubbing his hands together, he conjured up another orb of physic energy, determined to launch it at Genki's digression.
"Nice hit Snare!" Genki cheered, "another blast like that, and that Foongus will be down for the count! Hit it with another Confusion!"

Genki, relieved to see his friend coming back around, he jested to Aiden,"stick with us buddy, there will be plenty of time for a nap later."
Wanting to protect his Ralts, Genki readied himself to take a his for him, should a grass move be launched his way; it it is a poison attack, Genki was confident Snare could take it.

"Hey, that's cheating!" Cole gasped as Aiden fell to the ground. With one arm he shielded his eyes from the blinding sunlight and used the other to cover his mouth and nose with a sleeve, not even sure if doing so would help any.
It's so bright, I can't see clearly. This is awful. Cole hesitated, unsure of his next action. He considered taking shelter inside, but that would defeat the point of defending the building and he couldn't abandon Aiden and Kiba. If Kiba was awake, I wouldn't be so worried about this fight. During Sunny Day, a Fire Pokemon like him would cut down this gaggle of Grass-types like a scythe among wheat. If only, wait...
Cole continued to play stunned and unable to react, while sneaking a quick glance and a not to the Pokemon just behind his feet. With silent understanding confirmed, Cole uncovered his eyes and shouted. "Wisp, use what I taught you and bring it down with Ember!" As Cole lifted his leg and pivoted, revealing his Litwick already spitting out a gout of fire and coal at the enemy Oddish.
Cole delays his action until 3 to shield Wisp. On 3, Cole will shift to the left and activate Brutal Training Orders on Wisp.
Wisp acts on 2.

Snare turned its attention to the foongus, unleashing another blast of psychic energy but this seemed much more ineffective than the last, barely phasing the fungoid even with its effectiveness. (OOC: Don't forget to add your SAtk to damage). Aiden meanwhile struggled back to wakefulness, shaking the soporific spores out of his nostrils and mouth and regaining his consciousness much faster than had perhaps been expected. Kiba however remained asleep.
"Fair kid? We're just making sure you don't get hurt. Now, Fleur, use Leech Seed, let's properly incapacitate that ralts before it can cause us any more harm." the leader sneered, his budew tottering once more as a giant seed emerged from the top of it and jetted straight at Ralts. The seed nearly missed the psychic-type, but vines emerged from it and enwrapped Snare drained energy almost immediately. (OOC: Lose 1/10th Maz HP each turn from now on)
Seeing how effective Gustav had been, the second trainer focused on the murkrow, "Sprout, now, hit it with Sleep Powder!" he ordered as the little oddish dashed forwards shakign its leaves and filling the air with a powder that immediately rendered Gustav unconscious.
Cole ignored the sudden cloud and instead brought out Wisp, ordering a blast of flame blasting the oddish completely away and leaving it unable to battle any further as well as giving it a whole host of severe burns as its leaves crinkled away.
The final remaining trainer saw their chance to act, "Gus, try out Astonish, perhaps that will work best!" he ordered, the foongus dashing forwards with strange speed and slamming into Wisp (OOC: 21-Def Ghost damage, Supereffective).
(OOC: Can we make sure to post Speeds, Def, SpDef etc. as that makes it easier to streamline things)

Genki was perplexed by what seemed like harmless seeds floating down twards Ralts, and that moments distraction caused the trainer to miss his moment. As another small surge of energy left Snare's body, (ooc: Ralts loses 2hp) guilt washed over Genki: harm had come to Ralts dI spite his intentions. 'Not next time!' he swore, admonishing himself. "You ok buddy?"After a faint wobble, he pressed his footing, "Rall!" Snare exclaimed, indicating, he was in it to win it. The vines at his feet pulsed rythmicly, but Snare payed it no mind, as the purple glow of his body began to grow then concentrated on his hands. His eyes were focused on the mushroom with a snout with defiant determination. "Don't have to tell me twice," Genki concented, "we'll follow your plan, I'll cover you. Let it fly Snare!"Without hesitation, Snare let loose a disk of purple energy, arking out and returning to home in on the Foongus. Coughing and sputtering, his eyes fluttering open he briefly remembers the beach. He sees Kiba laying on the ground in front of him. "K-Kiba... wake up..." he slowly scrambles forward on his hands and knees towards Kiba, trying to reach the Pokemon to shake it awake. "KIBA!" shouts Aiden trying to awaken the Pokemon.
