With everyone else running for the more obvious locations for supplies, Pumbloom instead follows up on a tip from Morgan. So there's pirate crews getting wasted in the red light district, were there? Drunkards weren't exactly the wisest bunch, and the cheery are notoriously loose with their coin. Putting up a good show might be a good way to solicit food and drink for the trip out of the docks. Or, at the very least, it keeps the rest of Morgan's former crew distracted enough to make off with their ship without a hitch. The plan seemed brilliant in the DJ's mind, and even more so in his empty stomach. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ It wasn't too difficult finding the red light district. Where else would he hear the cheers of tavern patrons unaffected by both the storms and the possible presence of marines? The walk over had given Pumbloom the perfect tune, singing and jumping in his head. Legs tapped to the rhythm, arms swayed to the beat. His clothes caught on, shaping up to be as vivid as the melody. The DJ didn't notice as his hair and threads turned violet from excitement; all he could see was the tavern's door. All he could hear was a song begging to escape. Showtime! With the force of sound itself, he swung open the tavern's door with a loud BANG as to get the patron's attention. And with all eyes drawn, he began to sing a sailor's shanty worthy of praise! “When I was a young lad I looked to the sea” “In search of a treasure just destined for me” “So I ran to the docks, and a treasure I’d see” “A capt’n quite different, for it were a she!” “Yar harde hey, a treasure I’d see” “A capt’n quite different, for it were a she!” “Take a moment to think of it, if you would” “A lass with an ass, her eyes pure and good” “But booty be not the only thing she had good” “For the upper deck was wide, and bounced where she stood!” “Yar harde hey, her eyes pure and good “An upper deck wide, and bounced where she stood!” “Well I joined with her crew, and I found it quite grand” “To be sailing with a lass so subtle and tanned” “Twas the kind of ship where you’d keep the rigging in hand” “For her smile was so fine I’d be unable to stand! “Yar harde hey, kept the rigging in hand” “For her smile was so fine I’d be unable to stand!” “Then one day my face did ever so glow” “When the captain did invite me to her room for a show” “Yet I found myself dismayed, my heart sunk to woe” “When I found not a bush, but a log down below!” “Yar harde hey, my heart sank to woe” “When I found not a bush but a log down below!” “And that there’s the story of why I stay on shore………” “For I still can’t sit down with my bottom so sore!”------------------------------------------------------------------------ Charm: 16 to perform for supplies at the red light district. Food, rum, and whatever else he can get.

Carver looked a little guilty when Delilah gave him the look, the woman having giving him more chances than most as he bowed his head "Thank you for taking care of me up until now Ms.Delilah, I'm truly sorry I need to leave here, You have been one of the better managers to work with, but considering my new situation I need to resign from here, or you can fire me if you like...I didn't exactly vet this last meal I served out." he said looking around at the destruction.
After that he looked to his crew "Listen...as much as fleeing on a boat sounds like a good plan, I don't think we have enough Food to handle 1 2 3...7 people on an extended Sea voyage, I have some personal stock, but it probably won't last us long." he explained to everyone gathered.
"I'll go try and round up some more, and meet you all down at the docks." Carver said to his new crew mates before heading outside. Carver headed to the outskirts of the port town, away from the sea. He'd been here many times searching for ingredients, 'Just find something edible you can make it tasty for them later.' he thought heading through the underbrush grabbing off what fruits he knew were at least non toxic to humans, stopping by a tree he knew had fruits in it 'Usually I need to climb up there, but maybe...' he thought remembering the feeling of being a Turtle, 'I just need hands to cook' he thought stopping himself in his halfway form as he grabbed the side of the tree shaking it, having a bit more power in this form than his human form, gathering up any fruit he managed to shake loose.
He rounded off his search by looking under for trees for edible roots or mushrooms, grabbing anything he knew people could eat. 'It's not a 5 star banquet, but it should be enough to stave off hunger but still, need more than ruffage. I need to find some protein' he thought keeping an eye out for any birds nest or pumpkins.
After he'd found everything the forest was willing to give up, he headed back toward the docks, hoping the others had some luck as well.

Ferren nodded along as the mysterious stranger spoke, frowning as he took off, quickly followed by three members of the newly formed crew left as well "Right, well if I know anything about ships, then I know it ain't exactly gonna be easy running one with just the seven of us. I'm gonna go and get us some more 'crew'" He says, releasing a Starly that lands on his shoulder "Cept I'm thinking more like Ein here then like us"
As he walked away, he thought of where he might find Pokemon who wouldn't be completely useless on a ship, realizing that Mon who had spent some time around people would be his best bet. Heading into some of the back alleys in the town, he kept his eyes and ears open for any movement, or even just a Pokemon hiding out from the storm.
Instead, Ferren walked up on two Pokemon, sparking with electricity, cornering a bug and a rat. The electric mice would do a pretty good job of keeping hostile birds and fish away, and the other two could always be useful as well. He walks up to a nearby dumpster and smashes it with a kick, the noise echoing through the alleyway "OI! Listen here! I don't know what it is that the four of you were doing before I walked up, and honestly I don't really care. Because now you're coming with me! Any problems with that and I will knock you unconscious and drag you along. You have been conscripted to my crew, take any complaints you have up with Fate because it's thanks to her that I ran into you" To punctuate his point, he kicked the dumpster once more, demolishing the steel and smiling at the four Pokemon "Any objections?"

After making sure to get the location of the ship from the ridiculously tiny shipwright, and with urgency in his step, Buuta heads off to the forest to find some supplies for the ship. He knows there are berries in the forest, as well as trees - the ship could probably use some lumber, right?
Unfortunately, Buuta doesn't really know what kind of wood is good for making a ship, so he just kind of wings it and brings back as large of a tree as he can drag around.
He manages to find some good fruits as well, but eats quite a few of them on the way. It's not his fault he's still hungry!

"Okay, I'll come!" Lonnie shouts, putting his rifle on his back and running after his new captain, eager to see how he can help his new crew. Jin's preternaturally quick pace is admittedly hard for Lonnie to keep up with, but his youthful energy makes up for his short legs. They run until Lonnie has an idea. "Ooh, hang on a sec... actually, don't hang on, keep going, I'll be back in a second." Focussing for a moment, he wills himself back into the form of a tiny bird and takes off, not even noticing how naturally flying comes to him in this form. He flies over the island, committing the layout of the streets to memory. And maybe to draw later - it's kind of pretty if you could get past the rain and the panic and the marines coming to blow most of it up probably. Furthermore, he gets a aerial look at the docks and spots an area with slightly less people and panic than the others - the perfect place to look for the food they'd need. When he gets there, Lonnie's extremely sharp senses serve him well, helping him locate a decent amount of food crates he can take. What doesn't serve him so well are his small stature, meaning he can only manage 5, and his... unorthodox priorities. After his fourth crate of "Proper" food, his nose twitches as he smells something sweet. With astonishing speed, he locates a crate that, once he opens it, reveals itself to be full of candy. He takes a moment to look through it with the wonder and excitement of an archaeologist finding a legendary fossil until he comes across something. A wrapped candy of an odd, pinky-red colour that smells... strange. Incredibly delicious but strange. "Hmm... I'll save you for later." He says, slipping it into his pocket and picking up the lid to reseal the crate. He pauses, puts the lid down, takes out a raspberry bon bon, pops it in his mouth, then reseals the crate and takes it. Spending 1 AP to add Pallet Island to Lonnie's Travel Archive

The Ledyba and Ratatta scurry to Ferren's side, as if for protection, impressed, and the Pichu looks a bit intimidated, walking away, but the Minun growls an adorable little challenge and stands it's ground. The Minun is not going anywhere with Ferren short of in one of his Pokeballs.

Marak nodded "Then that sounds like a plan then." After receiving the information about the ship's location, he heads out for the scrapyard. With no skills in stealthy matters and far more interests in the matter of creation. He scrounges around the scrapyard looking for metal and materials useful for a ship. He really hoped he didn't run into a fight, despite his seemingly large size and imposing stature he was mostly a puffball and he knew it.

Ferren laughed a bit as the Minun stood in challenge "Oh, you think you aren't coming with me? See this just means you've earned a first class ticket to a Pokeball" then he turned his head to the Pichu "And don't think you're getting away that easy, I'll take care of you as soon as I'm done with this one"
He then dashes forward, body low to the ground as he approached the Minun, his talons almost dragging across the cobblestone. Once he covered the distance, he struck forward with his left hand, acting as though he was going to strike the small Pokemon and then at the last second hit it from the other side with his right hand, activating the Pokeball as he struck.
He then looked over to the Pichu and spoke "Now either you can come with me nicely like those two, or I can do this to you as well. Your choice"

The Pokeball swallows up Ferren's target, though not without providing a little bit of a sting to the hybrid formed devil fruit user, either from Minun's counter attack or something of it's own metaphysical properties. Whatever the case, the Minun struggles, but after three rolls of the balls and a triple ping, is captured.
The others don't show resistance, instead waiting to be swallowed up by their new master, the Pichu already scared of 'tougher people' without the show of force on the regal minun by the regel hybrid.

Colt's immediate reaction upon being intercepted by a man in a green cloak is to draw his pistols and take aim, drawing a bead on the man. It was only once the man was out of sight that he holstered his pistols again.
Then, before he could say anything, their 'crew' had scattered, leaving him alone. "Wait--I--grr...," he said, snarling. "Well crap...guess I'll go get some supplies or something...," he said, starting to walk slowly in the direction Murray had gone. "...But he did say he was headed to the junkyard...hell with that, I'm not going to dig through a pile of garbage," he said, frustrated. He turned the other way and started walking along the pier. "I'll just go buy what I can, hell with dumpster diving," he said to himself.
As he walked toward the local shipwright's stockhouses and warehouses, he began to notice more and more pirates out looting. Two-bit thieves...I don't have time for this crap, Colt thought to himself, keeping to the shadows and making sure to walk unseen. The last thing he needed was some dumbass pirate thinking he was an easy mark and wasting his time...and ammo. Thus unseen, he finally got to the ship repairs shop.
Walking up, he heard the scene long before he saw it. A lot of shouting back and forth, a lot stuff breaking...not good. Colt stopped by the corner and peered around to listen.
Fifteen pirates were standing out front of a ship parts shop. There was an old man standing out front, barring the door.
"Look old timer, just give us what we want and we'll let you keep your head," one of the pirates said. "In case you hadn't noticed, the town's going to shit, and we're leaving. So just get out of the way!"
The old man stood before the door, eyes wide with fear, trembling wordlessly.
Then, there in the window, Colt saw someone. Two someones to be exact. A little boy and a girl, peeking out through the window. Colt wasn't the only one who noticed.
"The old timer has kids," one of the burly men said, pointing at the window. Stupid, Colt thought to himself. The leader of the Pirate gang laughed. "Good eyes there Flint. Give us what we want, old timer, or it'll be those kids that pay for it," he said with a wicked, sadistic grin.
"No, p-please!," the old man stammered, "Leave the children out of it! They've done nothing wrong, don't harm them, I'll give you what you want!"
The pirate laughed. "Now that's more like it. We'll take it all-everything you've got...and we won't hurt the kids, don't worry. Hell, I think I'll take them too. I could use a new cabin boy! Hahaha!," the pirate laughed.
Colt's eyes went wide as he watched the scene unfold. He reached for his guns. Fifteen people...that meant two bullets per person. There was a nearby flash of lightning, then the whole world went mute. Colt was already in motion. He took three running steps out into the midst of the roadway, his coat furling open behind him, his six revolvers shining in the dim light. He drew his first two revolvers.
"Six Gun - Broadside!," He shouted, his voice lost in the roar of thunder. In a flash and blur of motion, Colt unloaded all six pistols on the unsuspecting pirates. As he holstered his final two pistols the last rumblings of thunder echoed. All six barrels were smoking. Just like that, fifteen men collapsed. Each man had two gunshot wounds...the larger men had three.
The old man stood trembling, clearly unsure of what had just happened. Colt slowly walked down the street, clearly in no hurry. A few paces away from the building, Colt felt someone grab his ankle. Another thunderbolt illuminated the pier. He looked down at the man that had grabbed his boot, his piercing blue eyes staring emotionlessly at the man's bloody face. The man looked up at him, his anger evaporating into fear. "Those eyes...you...you're...Co-"
Colt didn't let the man finish his statement, bending down in a swift motion, and striking the man in the back of his head, rendering the man unconscious. Colt shook his leg free and walked up to the old man.
"Sorry about the mess," he said coolly. "I'm looking for somewhere to buy ship parts and supplies. You have any for sale?," he asked.
The old man stammered, clearly in shock. "U-uh, yes, right away!," he said, rushing inside. He began hauling out crates of planks, sheet metal, boxes of nails, barrels of pitch and tar, yards of rope, heaping it all up. Finally he stopped, panting.
"Alright, how much?," Colt asked, reaching into his pocket.
The old man held out his hands, shaking them. "Oh, no sir! You have done me a great service! Please, accept this with my utmost gratitude. You saved myself and my grandchildren, this is the least I can do!," he said quickly.
Colt blinked. "Alright, if you're sure," he said with a shrug, pulling a pokeball back out of his pocket. "You might want to get off the docks. This storm is going to get worse before it gets better," he said dramatically. The old man nodded. He had clearly understood Colt's meaning.
Colt released a pokemon from the ball next to him, a little brown fella with a skull on his head--a Cubone. "Hey, Bones. Gimme a hand with all this," he said, shouldering some coils of rope.
One of the men started to stir next to Bones in the alleyway. The Cubone responded to this by smacking the man in the back of the head with his bone. "Bone," he said, satisfied.
As he started to load up the boxes, he noticed the kid--the boy--peeking at him from behind the door frame. Colt looked at the kid, who flinched slightly, but Colt just grinned at him. "Keep your head down next time, kid," he said with a grin. The boy returned his smile.
Thus, a few moments later Colt and Bones were walking back down the pier to the appointed meeting place, each carrying massive piles of crates and barrels, Colt walking bowlegged under the weight. "Damn it...that old man gave me too much crap. Where are the rest of those bums to help lug all of this around?," he asked aloud, to no one in particular.

With one extra bar added to the 'Places I Can No Longer Visit' list, Pumbloom made his way towards the docks with tavern goods in hand. Had to catch up with the captain after all! If only these goods weren't so heavy! Granted, the Shellder dangling from his jacket didn't seem to help much in the weight department, but there still had to be a better way to go about this! Like a wagon, or a barrel he can roll, or...
...is that...
A PALLET CART! LOADED WITH CRATES! WITH NO GUARDS OR WITNESSES WATCHING IT!
No way. This had to be a trap. The DJ took a brief look around the pier, expecting some kind of ambush in place. And yet, noone. Just an abandoned crate of goods in the middle of the pier, with a handy cart for moving. And upon closer inspection, a chest of treasure as well! Wow, the captain was sure gunna be excited about this!
With the speed of a mad bandit skulking through the night, Pumbloom set to work writing his name over any branding insignia on the crates. Just in case the owner were to pass by on the way to Murray's ship of course. As soon as they had his mark, he'd place the tavern supplies, Shelder Buddy, and his own bag on the wagon and start hauling ass to the meeting point. An innocent "I'm doing nothing sneaky or suspicious" whistle would mask the escape. NOONE WILL EVER KNOW!
......................
SKEEEEEEEEEEET! The wheels of the cart squeaked, as Pumbloom u-turned back to the abandoned vessel. OK! TINY little detour. An empty ship like that is begging to be plundered! Who knows; they may have TRANSPONDER SNAILS! Pumbloom would take his bag and the pokemon off of the cart as he floated up to the ship's main deck, anticipating the goods he might find.

When hearing that Marines would be heading here to capture anything that leads to pirates, Gwyn starts freaking out a little, since according to what everyone had said in the tavern, the fruit she ate probably directly lead to pirates. So with a plan to get on board this 'Jin's' ship Gwyn started floating to the forest outside of town. As she arrives, she concentrates to get back to her original small form. Once she can finally walk normally she looks around for any useable food and water resources as well as things that catch her eyes.
She quickly comes upon a clearing in the forest with a small river running through it, as well as a few fruit trees, and three berry bushes. As she shifts to her hybrid form to more easily reach the fruits, her hair turns blue and slightly shines and shimmers, as if made of water, her dress turns blue, and as she floats up her legs become wispy and form together. She flies up to the trees and starts picking the fruits and putting them inside her bag. She also takes out her water filter and a few jugs, that she fills with water from the river. Heading over to the berry bushes, she finds a few apricorns that she had no clue what they could be used for but stuck them in her bag anyway, as she collects the berries as well. As she was searching under the last berry bush, she saw a small Shinx hiding away. "Hey there little guy, why don't you come with me, and then you won't have to fear any little storm? And you'll get lots of free food." She asks it as she holds out a pokeball toward it for it to enter.
After getting the Shinx, Gwyn flies up to the last tree in the clearing to pick the last fruits there, when she notices to bugs sitting on some branches, staring at each other. One looking at the other hungrily. Gwyn sneaks up toward them, and holds out two of her pokeballs, "So would the two of you like to come with me?" she asks fixing them both with her pain filled eyes, that seem to be leaking tears unconsciously. After she had gotten the two bugs and the last of the food, she starts flying back toward the docks. They would have to let her on board now.

Melanie's eyes narrowed at Delilah. Devil Berries, that's what they were! "So all this was your idea huh..." She said, her tone undecipherable. Suddenly she burst into motion, leaping straight for the woman... and engulfing her in a hug. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've always wanted to be stronger and I think you just gave me the biggest leg up on that journey." She grins at the woman and lets her go, feeling a little sheepish at her outburst of emotion, especially knowing that these Devil Berry powers had likely not been welcomed by some such as Carver or Buuta. The girl's expression turns sly. "So, what, if I may ask, is your relation to Red Oak Jackson, Miss Delilah, owner of the Red Oak Inn?" More than finding out if Delilah is somehow related to him, Melanie simply wants to know more about him. If Red is really the grandson of Gold Oak Sam, he might have a clue or two as to how one should go about finding the 151 Piece. Melanie doubted that Red would simply divulge his secrets to her, but perhaps she could figure something out if she knew about his past.
As she talked to the owner of the inn and their apparent 'benefactor', Melanie was suddenly distracted by Carver, who advised the crew to look for food. Mentally Melanie added water to the list of things they would need. But those weren't the only things the crew would require in order to successfully make it to the next island. "Right, we're going to need more than just edible supplies. I've been on ships often enough to know that their upkeep and repair is serious business. I'll head over to the warehouse area and see what I can scrounge up in terms of tools, materials and such. I'll bring the stuff to the docks, like Carver is doing." With that Melanie walked out of the inn.
As she walked out, Melanie's thoughts were full of dread. She knew about the people that were coming for them, or rather the berries they had eaten, and feared that the pursuers might be relentless enough in their search to find the crew's trail and follow it. If they were going to be chased by Vice Admiral Surge's fleet, difficult days were surely ahead. Melanie shook her head. She'd managed to escape the marines once before, doing it again should be possible with the help of an entire crew.
Soon Melanie arrived at the docks, which was where most of the warehouses on Pallet Island were. She looked around shiftily for observers, but no one was loitering around or watching other people. Everyone seemed to be in a rather large hurry to get out of this place. Melanie avoided getting too close to any ships and headed straight for the dockside warehouses. She looked around once more, finding no one outside, before sneaking towards the back of one of them. The place was full of crates and boxes. Melanie would have had no idea where to start looking, if she didn't already know what to look for. She quickly found the cargo logs and from there identified which of the crates and boxes contained the materials she required. A moment's concentration allowed her to slip into her hybrid form, giving her a boost in physical strength. Now she simply had to transport the materials to where Randy's ship was located.
If Melanie was honest with herself, she wasn't sure about stealing things. She'd never done it before, so why start now? That was one line of thinking that was running through her mind. Another though, said otherwise. Melanie was almost certainly going to be classed as a pirate by the end of the day. Once the marines found out that the girl that had turned into a giant death bird had fled the island, they would be chasing her like she was a criminal. In that case, it wasn't strange to make use of this to act with a little more freedom once in a while. There was also the fact that the girl barely had any funds left and so buying ship materials was mostly out of the question. She didn't get lucky and find any cargo that had been left behind by other ships either, so she had to use other methods of acquiring what she needed. Did she feel good about it? Most certainly not. She was a treasure hunter, not a thief, but desperate times called for desperate measures. In her mind, Melanie made a note to find this warehouse again one day and to pay the owner for what she had taken.
Uh, now where was Randy's ship again... Damn I didn't write it down. I'll just have to meet up with Carver, I think he knows where it is. Melanie started transporting the crates, when a voice rang out, "Hey! What do you think you're doing?" It was a tall and tanned, well built man. The expression on his face was more shocked than angry, no doubt because of Melanie's wings and tail. Melanie froze. Think, think think, what can I say!... Oh I know, this might just work. "Hi! I'm the bosses daughter. I'm delivering some crates for him. He'd have someone else do it, but everyone's busy and this is meant to be kept secret. It's for the marines you see." The man looked skeptical. "The bosses daughter? Didn't know he had one. And what's up with those wings? What on earth are you?" Melanie grinned slyly. "Never you mind that, it's just a party trick of mine. There are far stranger things at sea you know!" Now the man was getting annoyed. "So if you're the bosses daughter, can you tell me his name?" Melanie nodded eagerly. "His name is dad!" At this the tall man's heart melted slightly. "Look kid, I don't know about this. Why would your father send his kid to do this work for him- don't tell me, it's a secret, I get it." The man shook his head. "Fine you can go, but I'm going to talk to your dad about this tomorrow." Melanie nodded rapidly, and went on her way. I can't believe that worked, she thought. The girl felt a little guilty about deceiving the man like that, but she had to do it.

Ferren nodded as he tossed Pokeballs towards the other three Pokemon, before stowing all four on his belt for now, holding his arm out for Ein to land on "Well, it looks like we should head back towards the ship. Let's see if this new crew is anything like Dad's...." He grew quiet, pulling out a cigarette and a book of matches, lighting it as he began walking back towards the docks, the rain sizzling off of his body until his hair slowly faded back to the natural dark blue, his hands likewise returning to normal.
As he sees the sea ahead of him, Ferren looks for any other members of his new crew, or the ship that they were supposed to be meeting near.

Nails, broken and irreparable poke balls, even the twisted remnant of what might have been part an anchor at one point. If it was a reforgable piece of metal. he could repurpose then it went into his apron. Finding some scavenged rope, Marak tied the apron into a makeshift bag. Lifting the large bag over his shoulders Marak heads to where the little shipwright had told him where his boat was glad that his smithing lifestyle left him with some rather impressive muscles.
Time was no longer their ally.

As Buuta slowly makes his way back towards the docks, dragging an entire tree behind him, he is accosted by a flabbergasted lumberjack. "Hoy there, where are you going with that tree?"
"I'm taking this back to my ship, so we have lumber to make repairs!" Buuta replies, as if lugging an entire tree was the most natural thing in the world to be doing.
The lumberjack looks the tree up and down. In truth, this was a pretty good tree, though he wasn't sure what good it would do a ship like it was - ships don't generally have the tools to cut lumber to spec, after all! He proposes a trade: "If you bring that thing over to the lumber yard, I'd be happy to give you a selection of lumber you can actually use in exchange for that. I'll even lend you a cart to haul it on, since moving it by hand all by yourself can't be good for your back"
Buuta agrees to the trade, and the two arrive in the lumberyard without incident (and it was quite a bit closer than the docks, which was a good thing; Buuta was starting to get tired, and hungry besides). Buuta is disappointed on seeing the slim boards the lumberjack offers. "Is this it? This looks like so much less than the tree..."
"Well, you have to understand," replies the lumberjack, who was probably used to explaining something similar to disgruntled sailors who didn't think they had gotten their money's worth, "There's only so much you can get off the tree in nice, board-shaped boards like this. The rest is bound to be useless to you, and besides, you aren't paying for this anyway. This trade will already set me behind, and if I don't make money on this, well... Do you want my family to go hungry?" Having pegged Buuta as a simple type, the lumberjack plays up his potential suffering.
It works, though, since Buuta really does not want to cause trouble, and feels in a hurry. Accepting the trade (which was actually pretty fair), he carts the wood over to the docks, trying to find Randy's ship.

Tethys was running down the beach, pulling off her flip flops clumsily as she ran. "Hey, Keto! Hold these for a sec!" She tossed the footwear at the Krabby that was her companion, picking up the rolled up net beside the Pokemon as she made her way closer to the surf. "Long story short, we made some friends and they need some food! I told them I could rustle up a good catch, and they didn't really respond, so I think I'll just surprise them!"
The dark-skinned beauty stopped at the edge of the waves, feeling the familiar crash of the waves over her feet. She closed her eyes for a moment, breathing in the angry salty air, feeling the rain on her skin, and dug her feet into the sand. "No place like home!"
And with that, she dove in, kicking up a huge burst of sand and surf behind her as she gave a few powerful kicks to get going. Storms may not be the best weather when you're above the waves, but... You couldn't ask for a better time to fish!
The Krabby watched on, never blinking - but sometimes toying with its Pokeball, sometimes making sure the long coil of rope beside it hadn't been blown away. And then a huge wave crashed onto the shore, depositing one dark-skinned beauty holding a net behind her, full of fish wriggling for their lives. "I'm baaaaaaaaa~aaaack! Come on Keto, we've gotta go!" Tethys ran up the beach, seemingly unhindered by the large catch she was carrying, and made short pit stop by Keto to put her shoes back on and gather up the Pokeball and rope in her free hand. "I know you hate it, but you can't keep up with me! Back you go in the ball..."
Tethys sighed, standing alone in the storm with the waves crashing behind her, and then smiled. "Alright! It's time for an adventure on the high seas!"

Gina was dumbfounded by all the revelations this mysterious man dropped on them in such a short time. THIRTY Marine ships?! Just coming in and wrecking whatever is vaguely pirate-shaped?! That would probably include the inn, given their clientele and name...She hoped Mom and Delilah could at least talk their way out of the inn getting COMPLETELY destroyed; maybe just a name change would make them happy? Hopefully...Wait, did he say he was a Red Hat Pirate?!
Before she could ask anything, plans were put into motion; everyone ran off to do their own thing, presumably meeting back at the docks to acquire their ship through totally legal means. Great. Well, the only thing Gina could think to get would be food, especially if some of the others were getting pokemon, but no doubt the market district was an absolute wreck by now. The news they'd been given had probably spread all over the island by now.
There was ONE place the pirates probably wouldn't think to look....
Within a few harrowing minutes, Gina found herself at a familiar farm on the outskirts of town; the Dryer family farm, who mostly did business with the local inns, supplying fresh food to the Red Oak Inn and many others. She'd been here many times before, both alone and with her mother, getting food and supplies for the inn during the busy season, and knew the family well. Of course, they disapproved of piracy - and given how many pirates seemed to act, Gina didn't blame them - but also weren't exactly fans of the Marines, who had more than once just barged in and taken things in the name of 'fueling Justice' or whatever. With the right story, she should be able to at least get a day or two's worth of food from them, and maybe a few medical supplies as well.
Gina knocked quickly on the front door; mumbling and footsteps were heard on the other side, an eye peered through the door's eyehole, and the door opened wide. "Gina, what are you doing here so late?! And in this weather! Come in, girl, you're soaked!" Mrs. Dryer exclaimed, ushering the barmaid in so they could talk. And talk they did; after some general banter, letting her know how she and her mother had been, if Delilah had heard from that son of hers, all that sorts of things, they moved onto why Gina was actually here in the middle of the night, soaked to the bone and all alone.
"Well, apparently there's some sort of big battle happening nearby; some big famous pirate and a bunch of Marine ships. Apparently the Marines are going to come through the island and wipe out everything even remotely pirate-related, so all these pirates docking here have gone nuts! A big group of them burst into the inn, wrecked the place, and took our food; I'm just glad they didn't try to take me as well." She shuddered, mostly from the cold but also for dramatic effect. They'd all heard stories of what particularly sinister and morally bankrupt pirates did to pretty young barmaids. "We're expecting the Marines to come barging in during their hunt, and Delilah's concerned that they'll assume we just gave everything to the pirates, given the inn's name. I mean, the place is a WRECK, and it's clear we got robbed, but you know how those Marines are. I don't want Mom or Delilah to get hurt, so we need to restock, and fast. I know it's really short notice, but even food for a day or two would help. Or any bandages you might have; one of the pirates grabbed my first aid kit from the counter, and Mom got banged up while trying to stop them all from coming in. I can get one tomorrow, or whenever all this chaos blows over, but I'm worried about infections." She sighed heavily, looking pitifully at her long-time supplier. "I'm sorry for the rambling, it's just all so much to handle..."
Gina left the farmhouse, a hefty bag of supplies in tow. She couldn't carry as much as her mother, but at least once she got out of eyesight of the farmhouse she could store it in her portal. The Dryers didn't know about her little gift, nor did they need to. Now, making her way to the docks should be really simple, just need to go back to the inn and follow-
A small cry in the underbrush caught her attention. Gina paused, opened a portal large enough for the supplies, set them inside, and closed the portal in order to free up her hands. She released Dolly, who was NOT happy about immediately coming out and being soaked in the storm, and knelt down beside the brush to get a better look. Maybe a stupid move, but oh well. Inside, they found a little Petilil, beat-up from some unknown predator and absolutely terrified for its life. Gina always had a soft spot for hurt pokemon, patching them up and releasing them back into the wild, but this time...Maybe she could keep it. She heard locals talking about the restorative properties of the herbs grown by Petilil, and she doubted the others would be grabbing many medical supplies. Having their own little, adorable herb garden might prove useful.
Dolly hopped on the ground closer to the pokemon, who flinched and cowered. "Dolly, move back." The Chatot nodded and hopped back towards Gina, who dug into her chest for a little treat. A small bag of dried berries emerged, and she took one out, offering it to the little Pokemon. "It's all right, we're not going to hurt you. We're here to help." If it wouldn't take the bait immediately, Gina would set it on the ground nearby. "I can heal you if you want to come along with us. You'll be safe and protected, and get free food and friends as well." Dolly nodded in agreement, hopping/flying back onto Gina's shoulder, where she belonged. If the Petilil agreed, she'd scoop up the little pokemon, give it another piece of fruit, and carry it safely back to wherever they were meeting up under her cloak, protected from the storm. If not, she may need to actually capture it in a pokeball...Which shouldn't be too hard, given its state, but she still felt bad about capturing unwilling pokemon.

Natalia can't quite hide her fear from the children, when she's told about a marine incursion. She's forced to leave them in the building, with hopes Delilah will take care of delivering them to their parents. She can see her hair has turned white, in the periphery of her vision, and it compounds the fear she feels.
As she splits away from most other patrons in her mad dash to the docks, she regrets not spending more time and attention in listening to them. She knows she had no warning to speak of, but it still pricks at the back of her mind: Another mistake.
Her "best night" has suddenly turned into her worst nightmares. She dwells on it a little too much, as she sprints down the streets without paying the rain-slick streets any mind. She leaves a slight mist in her wake, her skin cold enough to cause it. She feels light on her feet, almost like she could fly, but she's too scared to try. Too scared to stop. Too scared to think straight.

Proxy could not believe her luck: she just got a shipwright and a ship in one fell swoop! She still wishes she had time to get a navigator, but for a rushed gathering it was better than she had hoped for. She was about to say something to her newly gained shipwright but then the inn keeper spoke up, so Proxy kept quiet as she listened to the inn keeper's explanation and apologies. Huh, that explains why there's so many Devil Berries in one place, she mused to herself after listening to Delilah, still strangely calm in the face of all of these bizarre occurrences. But again, that's only on the surface, and below that calm exterior Proxy was still worrying about what was going on out on the waters. If Red is as infamous as they say he is, then there cannot possibly be just one Marine ship currently engaging him. If there are more Marine ships, then getting out of town before they come ashore was a very sound plan.
But the situation just got a little bit worse. Mr. Shipwright - Randy, Proxy reminded herself - mentioned that his ship wasn't in the best condition, and doesn't have any supplies on board. Then Carver added that they'll need to make sure they have enough food to survive while on the sea. This is very troublesome. She lightly bit on her thumb as her brows knotted in thought, trying to analyse this situation as quickly as possible: they needed supplies; they needed food; and they could use some extra man (or mon) power. In order to gather everything they'll need in a timely fashion, it would be a good idea to split up. "Okay, everyone, I know we've only just gotten acquainted with each other, but we're running short on time. I highly recommend we split off and search for food and supplies to last us until the next island. Especially food. We're going to meet back up at the ship." She paused at this moment to turn to Randy. "Whereabouts is your ship, and can you give us something that'll help us pick it out from the rest of the ships?" After Randy divulges this information to the makeshift crew, Proxy nodded in confirmation and turned back to the others. "Remember, time is short, so only get as much as you can carry as quickly as possible, then meet back up at the ship. I'll see if I can rustle up some extra limbs to help us out in the mean time. May Arceus be with you all." And with that, Proxy hurried out of the inn and into the rain.
After gaining some distance from the inn, Proxy produced a Poké Ball from seemingly out of nowhere and sent out her partner Pokémon, Shadow, who does not appreciate being sent out into the rain. "Zorua? (What gives?)" the fox gives a quizzical look at Proxy, who quickly explains the current situation to him. "Zo, zo-zo zorua zo? (So, can you help me out?)" she asked after she finished, and the fox gives a nod in affirmation. Together, the two search the alleyways and backwater streets in search of other Pokémon that would be willing to assist them in their task.
