Thoron continues to assist the Parasect in dealing with the Maw, this time directing the sturdy mushroom to disrupt the larger plant. Meanwhile Lowe moves back, to eventually attack from a different angle, while also clearing the way for the rowdy Trapinch to attack its enemy. Thoron uses Dazzling Dervish on Parasect.
Lowe disengages to O7 and uses Helping Hand on Trapinch.

==Last Round== Annoyed that the blob had ignored his sand, Gilgamunch decided he would have to handle things himself. Up close and personal! Preferably in nomming range. Basically he runs up and bites the maw to test its edibility and also if it had a bigger maw than he did. ==Current Round== Soleil meanwhile grumbled at her gun somehow being low on power and needing a round to recharge before it could fire at full power. She debated backing up and spending a turn trying to fix the stupid thing, but decided that she might as well test the whole "uncapturable" thing. She quickly moved off to the side to try and get into a better position with her rifle while pulling out a pokeball. Worst case she could see how sturdy a pokeball was if she slammed something really hard in the face with it. Figuring people were probably distracted by the giant maw and probably wouldn't notice if she gave the fast ball a "slight boost" in speed with a small gust of wind, Soleil tried to subtly call on the wind to give her throw an extra "push". "POKEBALL SLAP!" Soleil yelled as she hurled a pokeball at the maw determined to try and knock the thing silly with her "other ranged weapon." Sadly, apparently throwing and wind pushing at the same time in the middle of combat with one hand holding her rifle for the first time wasn't a good idea and her throw was horribly aimed. Hopefully it wouldn't bonk a teammate on the head. <.< Trapinch shift to P9, Standard Bug Bite. Acc: 16, Damage: 39 (Physical Bug)
Soleil shifts to N4. Standard: miss with a pokeball. Pokeball Fail. She threw it, guster, she missed, she sucked. 6 stealth for nothing >.>

"Ooo-oooo-oooh, sweeeeet. Peter, Peter! Did you catch that? Pleeeease tell me you got that on taaaaape, I wanna watch it againnn...."
"Oh and uhh, keep.... keep going Meowspurr, yea."Merrrrrrrowl~Fancy cat strides forward, undaunted by the gift she got from just before the blob's demise. There's more than one way for a cat to skin things. That's the saying, right? Of course it is! Meowspurr raises her ears a tad less than she had been, and the air around The Maw warped for a split second before snapping back to normal. Leslie follows that up with another salvo, the launcher firing off another pellet filled bag with hard rubber siding. Leslie: Swift applies Brutal Orders on Meowspurr.
Meowspurr: Shifts to N6. Standard uses Confusion (AC 2) on Maw. Rolled 8. Keen Eye. 41 Special Psychic damage.
Leslie: Standard if Maw is still alive; Cap Cannon: Bean Cap (AC 2) on Maw. Rolled 4 vs Status evasion. Set damage, 30 Normal Physical.

On seeing the man start to break down, Silas puts a comforting hand on his shoulder. "You had no way of knowing what would happen, and you weren't the one who created those monsters. If we're going to put a stop to that... woman, we need to know as much as we can. Are these the blobs she made? And where was she going?"Parasect glares(?) at the maw, no longer feeling as affectionate. That bite had hurt, and it is fighting to stay conscious. In an attempt at revenge, it makes a stronger swipe at the creature. Parasect used Scratch!

As Trapinch takes a bite out of the Maw (disgusting) and it seems to wither a little bit, before hissing at the walking pebble. It's cut short, though, when it collapses into a puddle after Meowspurr's psychic attack, just as Soleil's about to throw a ball. "Yeah... at least, I'm pretty sure they're the same ones. Hard to tell when running. They look the same, at least. Or... at least, did, before you guys showed them. That was pretty awesome, thanks." He then rattles off an address. "That's our place. I don't know where she's gone. I expect north, because that's the direction she was headed beforehand, and we didn't run into her going the other way." Maw takes an injury from Bug Bite. The Maw faints from Confusion.

Taking a cursory glance at the battlefield, and more importantly its victors, Thoron asks, " Everyone is still capable of continuing? Silas, Parasect took quite a few hits from that monster, can it still fight?" Now that they'd concluded their business here, and determined roughly how strong their opponents were, it stood to reason they should continue on. Although Thoron wasn't... certain how they wanted to approach the task next, and in the meanwhile instructs Lowe to once again hone in on the curious Pokemon's trail. If needed, Lowe has a 14 on the Perception check. This assuming we don't just go north, or northish!

Silas nods and looks the man in the eyes with a serious expression. "That's good to know. You've done well so far, so now you need to get out of here. We're going further in, so you can't stay with us. The only other thing I can tell you is that the direction of the warehouse isn't safe." At about this time, Silas hears the battle stop and Thoron calling for him. "Alright, looks like I need to go. Good luck."
Silas jogs over toward the battle and glances over the battle. It looks like his Parasect was the only thing to be touched by the enemy, and he's a strong breeze short of destabilizing. Silas pulls out his first aid kit and gets to work while talking. "He took every hit in that fight. It'll be several minutes, but he'll be nearly at full power by then. I'll tell you what I heard for the refugees in a bit." Silas stops speaking for a few minutes, concentrating on fixing up the bug's damaged leg. There's not a lot he can do about a gash in the mushroom, but the wound should heal with time. Once he's moved on to the more superficial damage, Silas calls for the group's attention as he reports. "Alright, team. It looks like we have a lead on the culprit. Omega, I'd like you to note a specific address on your map." Silas relays the location and continues. "The civilians were hiding in that location. The man I talked to looked out the window and saw a semi-transparent blue woman with red eyes heading north. She spotted him and apparently created the monsters we just destroyed. The blobs squeezed through the cracks in the door and killed one before they could escape. Omega, how does the location and direction of the woman compare to the warehouse and the way we've been heading?"
Silas used First Aid Expertise on Parasect! All HP Recovered! One Injury Removed!
Parasect may not be affected by First Aid Expertise for the rest of the day. First Aid Expertise uses remaining: 2

"Yeah give me a second to fix my baby..." Soleil said as she messed with her rifle. She slightly grumbled under her breath at the wasted chance to use the powerful pokeball slap said to be capable of destroying entire buildings due to the sheer power of its impact.
She put the pokeball away begrudgingly and recalled Trapinch to his pokeball while messing around with her rifle. Soleil moves over to the maw and pokes it with her rifle curiously before pulling the pokeball back out and poking the goo with the ball to see if anything happened.

"Beeeeeea-utiful." Leslie shuffles up to her partner, getting a better look. The Pokemon had practically doubled in height, and lost quite a bit of scruffy. But by the Shaft, she was adorable and a half. The two NO CARE STARE'D™ at each other for a full two minutes. It was the shorter of the two who broke the standoff, moving in to snuggle against the Technician's side. Or at least, it started as a snuggle. It ended up with the creature scaling Leslie like a rock wall, climbing until the girls were eye to eye with each other. The stare down continued where it left off. This time it only went on for less than a minute. She didn't feel like standing anymore, and the team was recuperating for a spell. Ms Minimal Effort Given gave in to her nature and went timber. The two softly thudded to the street, locked in the death throes of apathetic nothingness. "Maybe not Meowspurr, there's a lot of rabbit to her now, right?.... Meowspunny??"Mrrrpurrr-rrrrr."Yeeeee~, it'll doooo."Downtime will be spent lazing unless Silas/Mori or Thoron/Rev ask for a Taser Gadget.

"Alright, well, thanks for your help..." the man says, as he goes over to talk to his companions.
"Alright, just give me a moment. Attempting an extrapolation from a single point of data is not easy." There's silence from the Porygon for a few moments before he finally says "Well, judging by the curve of the route, and direction... if they were to continue on, taking no turns for a bit, then they could probably stay at a fairly equidistant point from the Warehouse. At least for a little bit. Perhaps they're relocating? I'm sorry, you try mapping a graph when you're just given one point of data. As for comparison to current location? If you head in the direction you were going beforehand, and continue up a little bit, you'll come to the corridor that the address is on. A fair bit away from it, though, and the direction of travel was in the other way."
"You do realize that finding a single person in Arcadia is like finding a specific needle in a roomful of needles, right?"

Thoron was eager to resume their march, but wasn't altogether keen on heading to a distant area so they could backtrack from there in pursuit of a target. Especially with no guarantee of the route they would take from there, beyond 'back the way they came'. That in mind, he asked, "Can you think of the most likely places for this mysterious entity to be headed, given their direction of travel, Peter? High-priority targets, or locations where Pokemon like the ones we just faced could cause considerable damage, perhaps."
Since time was of the essence, and needless travel was already the bane of one of them (far above all the rest...), Thoron next asked, "Kincaid! Do you have a more expedient plan that traveling all the way to that address, just to double back in pursuit of a single moving target? Or is the idea of an extended tour of this entire District appealing, after all?"

"Mrrrrgle", Leslie groans, sitting up. The Leslie-weight known as Meowspunny scurries over her shoulder to stand behind the Technician, reigniting the cat's trademark activity of hair nomming.
"Magic Leslie-Ball says", blem blem blem blem, "not enough data. Try again-" blem, "later".
Meowspunny STAAAAAARES at Thoron.

Silas is a little disappointed that there isn't an obvious lead from the woman's path, but they really do lack data. "That's fine, I just wanted to see if there was any connection. There was a chance for a lucky coincidence, so no harm in checking." As he puts the finishing touches on his Pokemon, Silas proposes the next course of action. "We aren't going to catch up to the woman anyway, so let's continue as we were before. If the trail hits a 'creation' point, we can follow it back to her home or forward to track her down."

"If we see whatever woman looking for are we shooting for lethal or hitting her in the face with pokeballs for non-lethal?" Soleil asked once she was done messing with her rifle. Once she was sure it was fine she poked the goo once more with a pokeball before slinging the rifle over her shoulders. "I like tours of entire districts, but that'd probably mess up the mission. I say we find the source, bang bang bang all the bangables and then be awesome super heroes who saved the day again."

Staring intently back at the Meowstic, but with a fair deal more ire than apathy, he says, "We don't have the luxury of deferring the decision to later. Yes, that seems best. Unless she happens to be the source, though, it would likely be best to locate their base."
Finally breaking contact with the cat, he pauses to parse Soleil's declaration, then replies, "...I'm not sure if 'hero' is the proper term, Jensen. That said, I imagine the Technicians from the Warehouse will be grateful for your help. As for the one who seems to be spawning these Pokemon, we should aim for nonlethal capture if possible... but attacking her with a Pokeball? How would it successfully energize a human, even one of those Elemental humans? You would be better off incapacitating the Target."
Not waiting for a reply, he looks next to Lowe, to see if he had caught wind of the trail they had been following.

Without waiting for too long, just enough for the patching up of Parasect, Lowe bounds off back down the corridor that you all were originally pointed towards. Passing more buildings, and a few signs of scuffles (well, 'scuffle' implies that it was more than one-sided) - though no more living people - you eventually come to a completely ordinary spot of corridor. It doesn't seem like Lowe knows what to do, other than pace back and forth, sniffing. The area around looks to be mostly residential dwellings, primarily untouched. Though, there is one, close to where Lowe is pacing, that appears to be missing the door... ƎƢƟŚƛƬƟƛŚƱƢƟƬƟŚƆƩƱƟŚƣƭŚƪƛƝƣƨơŚƣƭŚơƦƩƱƣƨơŚƦƣƥƟŚƛŚƜƟƛƝƩƨŨŚƍƩƧƟƮƢƣƨơŚƪƭƳƝƢƣƝŚƝƟƬƮƛƣƨƦƳŚƢƛƪƪƟƨƟƞŚƢƟƬƟŨØ

Thoron was quite annoyed by the destruction those Pokemon had left in their wake. But there wasn't much to do about that, short of stopping them. Perhaps more annoying was that Lowe had stopped at an apparently pointless location.
Still, he had led them here. Declaring, "We should investigate that house; it doesn't appear to have been a simple forced entry," Thoron grabs Lowe's attention and approaches the damaged residence.

"Aaaas good as any, I guess.... Besides just lying in the street and waiting for something to come to uussss." Though she's drawing out her words again, she doesn't sound as tired as the other day. Closer to bored, but a keen eye and ear would notice she's more giving a front for its own sake. Team communication is a thing she has to comply with, even when it's pointless. Meowspunny is a backpack, face buried in the slacker's hair. The nomming is muffled by what it is nomming. Cap Cannon reloaded with: 2 Bean Cap 1 Net Cap 1 Glue Cap 1 Pester Ball: Rage
At some point during the break, Meowspunny ate the Lum Berry.

Silas hangs back for several moments, half-expecting the mass of psychic energy in the area to lash out and attack. When the others keep walking, he reminds himself that it is just residue and continues forward. Lowe has lost the trail, so perhaps it began here? The civilian's story remains clear in Silas's mind. If the Pokemon were created or teleported here, this whole scene would make sense. While it's frustrating, there's not much he can do to figure out "how" or "why", but he'll content himself with "what" for now.
"Hey, Omega. How does this location compare with the address from before and the woman's direction? Something psychic happened here. Our suspect might have made blobs here and moved on. Also, can you warn the Warehouse team to be wary of a person who can create these things?"

Soleil followed behind the others as they approached the damaged residence. She kept her rifle drawn and ready. Her eyes scanned the surrounding area as she looked for anything of note. Perception=15
