The night time was approaching quickly as Sariah busily gathered together more paperwork and continued to sort items. She carried a checklist which she scribbled away at while counting a few items. Her only thoughts however lingered on cookies. When she finished, she scurried off to a door, grabbing a broom and dustpan and got to cleaning. Eventually, she saw someone approaching the guild hall and dropped everything while yelling, "COOKIES!"

"Nope, no cookies." Helios says while holding the hyperactive assistant at arm's length. "I do have a pretty great haul of items, though."
Dropping his bag haphazardly on a table near the deposit boxes along with his pokeballs, he walks off, calling over his shoulder "Now if you will kindly take care of that stuff, I'm going to go wash off. I swear I can still feel that foul miasma on my skin."

Sariah tilts her head to the side and instantly regrets taking a small sniff. "EGghghghgh. Stink.... too much stink. Go shower, I'm going to sort these! Oh god they stink too! WHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY~" She melodramatically screams as she poses only as a true drama club member could. As Helios walks off, Sariah rushes to another room and brings back a paper fan and begins to furiously fan at the items.
When she finally finishes, she sighs and mutters to herself, "That was divine punishment for getting lazy. I'll be a good girl and finish setting up the geo pole..." She dusts herself off, despite not being dirty and moves to another room where a faint pink light flickers on and off.

In that moment of confusion, Olivia and Farina returned triumphantly. "Tralalala! Dear little Sariah! We have returned... With COOKIES!"

Falon enjoys the strange method of travelling, and is grinning brightly when he lands on something soft. Hearing muffled cries, he thinks the guild is being attacked and he jumps up, sword drawn and lit, looking around for aggresors. Spotting Sariah lying on the ground, he extends his left hand to help her up. "Careful, Sariah, I heard cries, we're being attacked." His voice is remarkably... serious, rather uncharacteristic for the usually carefree man.

Henry touches the pole next, bringing Morrigan with him. "You crashed into her, Falon. But good to see you can be serious." He chuckles, giving the fighter a tap on the shoulder and moving away from the entry way in order to keep from getting toppled over. He looks to Sariah, shaking his head. "We got part way into the cavern, but it's too dark in there. Only Morrigan could see, and having the bird lead was not ideal, though she did a good job. Any way around that?" He gives the bird a quick pat, then returns her to her pokeball.

Bee goes through next - though as she touches the pole she tugs at Nithia's sleeve to make sure the poor girl doesn't get left alone. "Wish we could have gotten farther, but I do not want to be stuck in that cave when night falls. It was bad enough as it was - I'm surprised nothing came after us."
She looks down at Sariah, then up at Falon. "This is gonna be a running thing, isn't it?"

Sariah pouts as she picks herself off of the ground, taking Falon's hand to aid in her recovery. "COOKIES! gimme gimme gimme!" Sariah's disposition quickly changes as she rushes to greet Farina and Olivier, seeming as energetic as ever.
Farina quickly stops her though with a mild karate chop to the forehead. "You sent him out an a quest technically, so hopefully you plan on giving him a reward?"
"Psh, I'm way ahead of you sis," she happily retorts as she pulls out a few coins totaling 250 En. As she reaches for the cookies, she feels that the bag they are in feels mildly warm. "Oh my god these are warm... they must've just been made! You brought me the best kind of cookies..... FRESH ONES! ohmygodohmygodohmygod~ uh... uh..." She runs off to the supply room and begins looking through a box labeled "MY STUFF! NO TOUCHY!" and comes back with a great ball that she hands to Olivier before she wanders off to enjoy her treat, "The best kind of cookie~"
Meanwhile, Farina simply shakes her head before going to the main hall's table, sits down, and begins to look through the various paperwork that Sariah took care of during her stroll through town. "Okay, now we just need to wait for the rest to return; hopefully they'll be back soon."

"Excelsior! Quest complete!" Cries a happy Olivier. He raises the Great Ball and the money to the sky in triumph, as if to taunt the Sky Goddess herself with his earnings. But then he remembers that the Sky Goddess is a benevolent Goddess, so he simply brings them back down to earth level and smiles at them contently. Nee appreciated his shoulder's being down anyways as she clung to Olivier's skull in quiet, restrained terror.
In the meantime, he settled down contently onto the nearby couch and relaxed. He couldn't wait to hear about the other's adventures. Today was so exciting for him, so he was certain it was likely just as interesting for everyone else too!

While everyone was teleporting in, Helios wandered into the common room wearing a bathrobe decorated with suns and moons, holding a book.
He sits down and begins to read, mostly ignoring the antics of his compatriots.

Bee can't help giggling a little at Sariah's antics. She's probably not the only Earthrun ever to make the mental association between Bronie and children, and it's probably not a great one, but Sariah's ecstasy at having her sweet tooth indulged isn't helping.
She raises an eyebrow when Helios comes in in a bathrobe, and wanders over to lean on the back of his chair. "You must've gotten back early. How'd the resource hunt go? Did you get to that point on the other side of the river?" That one's still bothering her a little - she shouldn't be letting it get to her, but it feels like it's taunting her.

Falon blinks for a few moments at Henry's words "Oh. Okay." He douses and lowers his sword, before sheating it. "Let's see who else has returned!" He dashes off into the common room, obviously back to his usual self now that the perceived threat was gone (or rather, turned out to never have existed at all). Once he has reached the common room he starts moving around in it, trying to work off some excess energy. Today had been even better than yesterday! They had found an old ruin with jumping puzzles in it. Jumping puzzles! Could it get any better? He desperately wanted to share this glorious news with someone, and luckily there was just the person to share it with sitting in the common room! Grumpy McWizardman!
...
...
On second thought, maybe not. Instead, Falon walks over to Olivier and plops down beside him on the couch. "Olivier, have you heard! The temple ruin thingy we found past the secret wallamajig in the cave behind the giant glowy laser guy has jumping puzzles in it! JUMPING PUZZLES! Isn't that great!?" He says excitedly, inadvertantly copying some of the narrative from just scant paragraphs earlier.

"How did the hunt go? It went stupendously! I came back with a bulging bag and even a powerful new acquisition for our teams! The river was still rushing by just as strongly as yesterday, though. To tell the truth my inability to gather from that point irks me as well. Perhaps if we slip behind the FOE next time we are in the area... Speaking of gather points, it appears someone else went in and posted a note by that one disgusting room with the gather point in it. I wonder who would bother doing something like that?"
Hearing Falon's excited remarks on jumping puzzles from where he was sitting, Helios groans. "Please, count me out. Unlike you, my delicate constitution is not made for leaping about like a mad fool. What could possibly make jumping a puzzle, anyway?"

Falon grins widely at Helios. "Cause it's in the dark, with fast flowing water surrounding the rather small platforms to jump on!" he exclaims, sounding why to excited for what he was describing.

None of that sounds the least bit exciting to Helios, and he says as much. "However, were I there, you could certainly cross the dark off of that list."
Realizing how that sounded, he quickly waved his hands in a common abjurative motion. "Not that I'm volunteering, you understand."

Falon claps his hands enthusiastically, grinning brightly, blatantly ignoring Helios' adamant refusal to join. "Excellent! You're volunteering then!"

"Somebody obviously knows about it - remember, when we got there yesterday it'd already been harvested. Must be another guild that goes through there regularly. I know none of us put that note up yesterday, unless Olivier did it when I wasn't looking, I guess. He's the one who did the note on the room with the FOE."
Bee covers her mouth when Falon volunteers Helios for exploration duty. She tries to make it looked shocked, but doesn't do a very good job of hiding that she's holding in another giggle fit. "Shame, I was hoping the lever that stopped the waterfall in the other half of the forest would've done something about the river. But yeah, that cave is... something. Falon's skipping the part where he ran ahead in the dark and fell straight into the water. I wish you would come, though - otherwise we're gonna be stuck relying on the Murkrow to navigate." She pulls her journal open and scribbles a few notes in it absently. "Oh, speaking of which, what'd you catch?"

"OOOH! I LOVE STEPPING STONES!" Olivier announces ecstatically. He claps his hands vigorously and stands up. Nee falls backwards onto the couch and just sort of lies there. The couch... The couch was soft! What a delightful couch! The small cottonball Pokémon squeals in delight before rubbing her head against the upholstery. Meanwhile Olivier began to babble uncontrollably as per usual.
"Ah!!! You simply must take me with you on the next trip! Me and Nee would be perfect for a cave like environment since I've taught her how to make Fairy-lights, and everyone knows that Fairy lights are quite wonderful indeed for lighting up dark spaces like tombs, pitch black forests, and caves with pits filled with dangerous water-snakes!"
"Oh. But I didn't write any other notes besides the one about the FOE." He noted. "That certainly must have been someone else. Ooh! Perhaps they are friends! Or people who will become friends one day! Or friends that we have, but we don't know we're friends yet! Ah! That's a wonderful note to find!"
He shakes his hand nonchalantly, before turning to the point about his own adventures. "Anyways! Before I forget, while you were all out, me and Farina went ahead and talked to the quest guys. They were nice, and for our efforts we got... Oh! This Sword!"
At that moment, Olivier takes the sword out of the scabbard wildly, pointing it at various individuals about the room. "Isn't it pretty? I don't usually use swords, but I think this one isn't bad!"

Helios just rolls his eyes at Falon's complete disregard of what he just said. Half of the people in this guild are idiots and airheads. Well, at least it doesn't seem to be a problem yet...
He turns back to Bee, and responds to her instead of continuing what would likely prove to be an inane argument with Falon. "Ah, whatever, I suppose I could help you guys out, if you both insist. I caught a Zangoose, by the way. No idea how the captured pokemon's level translates to ones you make, but the ones I found looked pretty powerful."

Falon quickly leans back as the sword Olivier is handling passes mere inches by his face, before quickly standing up and easily plucking the sword out of the half-Lunari's hands, hands moving at lighting speed. "How about we let a trained professional handle this, , 'kay, Olivier? Before you cut of someone's hand?" He thinks for a moment, before adding, "Or rather, give someone a cut in their hand." He smiles at the man, but holds the blade away from him, out of reach.
