Vivian rounds the pods, and, as she turns humans, sees four glass capsules behind the medical devices, each containing what looks to be a smashed pokemon egg. The shell is in very small pieces, but maybe she could piece together what they use to be? There doesn't seem to be a way to OPEN the capsules from here though, so she's stuck with just looking unless she wants to try breaking one.
Callix manages to get the computer on, and the last few documents appear to be saved onto the desktop. Whoever it was either didn't think of logging out, or, more likely, didn't have time. There's three of interest. One is labelled "Project B", another is titled "Experiment 35-C" and the final one is called "All locations of Bond Facilities and all plans in effect." Seems you can click on any of them...
Anyone who sees the eggs can roll me a Pokemon or Occult education to figure out what they might have been. Medicine EDU to figure out WHY they're there. The computer does not require a Tech EDU roll unless you have pathetic.

Vivian's less human hand presses against the capsule holding one of the eggs, and she wonders if she could remove the cap without damaging it. Her artificial fingers curve around the glass, the non-slip texture of the artificial skin aiding her in the attempt. Her mind is elsewhere, though, thinking about what the eggs could be, and what their presence here means. The connection from the pods to the capsules doesn't bode very well, in her opinion. "I have a feeling we should leave as quickly as we can," she notes as she hears the wind pick up. Vivian Poplarmade a Pokémon Ed Check! | ud3a8lZK2d6 |

"Yeah yeah, just a minute, I found a computer that's still working, should still have some interesting info... Let's see... 'Project B'... sounds boring. 'All locations of Bond Facili...' too long. 'Experiment 35-C'? Now that sounds interesting..." With his very professional sorting Method, Callix selects the Experiment 35-C File for further viewing.

"No... we should get out of here, find a security guard or something! They should be able to help us." Chris says, still standing away from the blood on the floor, looking anywhere but at the bodies. He shuffles from foot to foot, uncomfortable with everything going on today. What had happened to the nice day that started out? "I'm not a freak... Mostly..." He didn't really wanna share his abilities right now... it wasn't really an appropriate time. Christopher Cardinal made a Perception Check! | 0x_wKoD42d6 |

"A security guard?" Moria looks up at the messy haired man. "Do you think that... there are any left?" She gestures halfheartedly at the bodies. "I have no idea how long it's been, but the blood-" Moria's face greens slightly, "-isn't dried yet. Whatever did this might still be here, and I don't want to stay long enough to meet it."
Moria walks over to the messy haired man, Tilda following behind. "I'm not sure why Team Bond did this to us, but we're in this together...." She shakes her head, looking almost embarrassed. "Sorry, but I didn't catch your name on the way here. What is your name?"

Vivian's knowledge of eggs isn't quite encyclopedic, but she's able to recognize that these are no ordinary eggs. She's never seen these patterns in any reference book or on a poster, so it's likely that they're rare specimens. That makes it all the sadder that they appear to have been shattered. However, there is no liquid in any of the capsules, likely because it was siphoned off and into the pods you were all in. Then.... Your mind wanders to the needle and the injection. Who would do something like this, and why? The implications of what happened are clear, at least.... But they're not good.
Callix opens the document, and begins to read. It seems it was done by an intern, or at least someone very informal, as it reads more like a journal than a scientific entry.
Huh, there's a bit of corruption in this document. It goes for a bit, but there's more near the bottom.
Looking at the timestamp, the document was saved about three hours ago... Meaning you've been here for at least four hours. There's still a lot of gaps to fill, but there IS a lead in this document. It was signed by a one Maximilian Rhodes. If you could find him, maybe you can get some answers.
Chris manages to find an empty corner and locks his gaze on it, trying his best to not look anywhere NEAR the bodies. So that's an improvement from earlier, at least.

Chris isn't entirely paying attention when Moria starts talking to him. He jumps a little bit when he finally figures she's talking to him not to someone else. "Oh! Uh sorry. I didn't mean to uh... it's been a stressful day I wasn't paying attention. My name is Chris. Chris Cardinal." He turns around to face her, making very pointed looks at the ceiling but also trying to meet her eyes at the same time.

Callix narrows his eyes at the name. There we go, something important. "Intern who worked here, his name is Maximillian Rhodes. Apparently has a date tonight. Might be a good person to hunt down. He refers to his boss a few times in this document, maybe we can get that name out of him, cause apparently his boss left early as well..." He pauses for a moment, then begins navigating to the Project B file on the computer. "Also, apparently we 'agreed' to this in the terms and conditions when we signed our contracts. Not sure that turning you into a freak of nature can legally be covered in a contract, but apparently they think it can."

"Chris Cardinal...." Moria nods. "I'll remember that."
Hearing Callix mention the contract, Moria sighs. "I knew I should have read through the contract thoroughly, but they kept rushing me through it. Although, it's not like I had much choice. At least I'm alive right now. That has to be better than being dead, right?"
Moria walks over to the door, aiming to take a careful look outside.

Vivian's plotted path carries her next to Moria, looking out the door. She holding one hand in her other, trying to calm the shaking that's just now taken over it. How come she had been so calm, earlier? She was no stranger to the sight of blood, but so much death? She should have been catatonic. "We have to leave, one way or another. There's no point in expecting help from Team Bond. Not anymore."
She adjusts her bag, now securely slung across her chest. Her tools make clinking sounds inside, and she draws a slight degree of comfort from it.

Callix tries to open the Project B file, but the file is so corrupted it can't open. It doesn't even know what program to use anymore. Roll tech EDU to try to figure out what might have happened.
Moria and Vivian peer out into the wilderness, met with a bit of fading light, and a sea of clouds overhead. It was approaching evening, judging by the setting sun, and those dark clouds signaled a storm approaching. More immediately appears to be an empty parking lot outside of the building, and a few hundred feet away is the Millennium Forest, so named for a hope that the woods would last for a thousand years. If records are to be believed, the forest has been thriving for close to 1500 years now. It is a dense forest, filled with life, and rumor has it most of that life is friendly. Roll perception if you'd like to look for any more clues outside the building.

Callix blinks for a moment, tilting his head. This wasn't really his area of expertise... He tried to middle with it before turning to look for someone more qualified. "Hey, Tech girl, metal arm, girl who refuses to give a name. You seem to be good with tech, are you any good with computers? Come over here and take a look, would you?" I suppose I'll entertain the idea of a Tech Ed roll: YWn7BT_O2d62d6

Chris blinks and looks at Vivian. "But... of course they'd help us... We just need to find someone and talk to them. They'd protect us and I'm sure if we explained what was going on they'd help us..." He holds his hands open. "All they've done is try to help us!"

"It's Vivian," she says very simply. With a stride, she pushes her bag onto him to hold, in the same movement she takes over the computer. The corrupted data makes her bite her lip, but it's the reason she installed so many safeguards in her augmentations. A quick movement with her mechanical hand sees a wire extend from her forearm, tipped by a connector. A quick tug sees her extend it further, and then she plugs it into the computer. Her artificial eyes light up with information, and she scrolls through it just by moving them. "I'll need a second," she announces. "Could you please give those bodies a look, to make sure we know what happened? If you're too squeamish, just focus on getting us some insulation. Rain is a problem for me." A white lie, but one that allowed her to test their reactions. It had just popped into her head, with no trigger, just a vague sense of "need to figure these people out". It's a strange feeling, to suddenly be better at something you've always hated. Vivian Poplarmade a Technology Ed Check! | XqQmDO4b4d6 |

Moria Delienza made a Perception Check for looking outside! | yvYmD1xV2d6 |
Moria looks at Chris. "According to what Callix has found on the computer, what was done to us was planned. I don't know about all of them, but I do know some could be in on this. By that alone, we can't trust them. If we go to them for help, we might be detained, or worse!"Moria takes another glance outside. "It's getting dark out, and it looks like it's going to rain soon," she remarks. She walks over to the nearest body and starts to examine it. "I'll help with examining the bodies, Callix. I'll take this side, and you can take the other."Moria Delienza made a Perception Check for examining the bodies for supplies/materials! | 2d6 |

After a few moments of examining the computer, Callix and Vivian come to the same conclusion. Some massive electrical force occured, scrambling the hard drive. It's a wonder ANYTHING was readable on it. Neither are you are sure it can be repaired, or even if any of the data on it would be readable even if you DID repair it. It's almost like a storm tore through this building...
Moria has no luck among the bodies for supplies, but she did notice something outside. Two sets of tracks. The interesting thing is they simply vanish a few dozen steps away from the compound, though there's a small crater, almost as if something immensely powerful simply jumped from there... The tracks appear to be three toed, and she also notices most of the claw marks on the walls also have three marks.
Thunder cracks outside, announcing the coming storm. It doesn't seem like you can stay here much longer before the storm is upon you. You all remember that the drive from the nearest town, the one to the north, was about an hour, so it'll take several hours walking. You should probably discuss what you'll do from here before the storm comes down on you in earnest. The ones who looked outside could tell the clouds looked particularly threatening.

After the last body, Moria stands up, shaking her head with disapointment. "Nothing over here." She walks over to a clear spot by a wall and leans against it. Looking at her arms dirtied by the morbid search, she thinks about what she saw outside. Tilda stands close by, watching over her old friend.
"When I was looking outside, I saw some tracks leaving the building that match the marks on the walls and bodies." Moria looks to the rest of the group. "Whatever did this should be gone now, but I still think we should leave, and soon. Someone is bound to come here at some point, and they will probably be affiliated with Team Bond."

Callix takes the bag from Vivian without complaint, only a slight smirk acknowledging it before he slings it over one of his shoulders for safekeeping until she wants it back. Being currently laden with two bags and a heavy wrench over his shoulder, he doesn't help much in the whole searching bodies department, but he keeps his eyes low to the ground, just in case he can spot something that Moria missed. His eyes settle on Christopher and his eyes narrow slightly. Poor guy still didn't understand the situation. He tosses a quick comment over his shoulder to Vivian, "Pretty fried. Maybe try and salvage the hard drive, see if you can work some magic on it over an extended period of time?" Then, he stalks over to Chris with a smirk slowly growing across his face.
He takes a moment, staring the other man directly in the eye, a hard edge in his voice. "Hey, Chris. I know that this is hard. That you want to panic. Vomit. Probably both, so I can excuse the not thinking straight. But you need to get one thing clear. No one is going to save us. All these people in this room, the security guards, the scientists, Team Bond? They're your enemy. They're the ones who did this to you. And everyone else out there, those that weren't wrapped up in making us like this? They can't sympathize with you anymore. You're something different than them, something they won't understand. Something they're going to fear. The only people in the world who are going to understand you is us. We're the only rescue you're going to get. So get used to it."

"If he even listened to you- Which he won't, the way you phrased that," Vivian says while she pops the computer apart, piece by piece with just her bare hands. "All you'd be doing is creating a dependency. My guess would be you're just venting." She had other guesses, of course, but it wouldn't do if she happened to be wrong at this juncture.
"He should get his feet under himself, first. We can be all buddy-buddy once we're out of here," She says, unplugging large sets of wiring from the hard-drive. "It's not like he couldn't just hide whatever they did to us from other people anyways, and he'd be sure to poke that hole in your argument immediately... which you're hoping he'll do, so you can drag him into an argument." Ugh, Vivian's throat feels almost sore after that. She feels like she's talked more in a few seconds than she has in the last month or two. That couldn't possibly be true... could it? "Just save it for later... please."

Chris just looks at Callix for a minute before his eyes start welling up with tears. "I'm not a freak..." He steps back away from Callix. "I... I'm not." Taking another step back he slides as the blood on the floor slickens his shoes. "I'M NOT! I WAS BORN THIS WAY!" It's at this point that his right hand started to glow green along with his eyes. He looked down at his own arm like it was betraying him. "No, no, no, no, no." Chris steps back quickly but slips on the blood and falls down on his rear. He looks up at the three of them and holds out his arm to the side, making sure it wasn't aimed at anything but the wall. The glowing coalesced into a bright green ball of energy before launching out and adding his own destruction to the room. "I... I..." He scrambles to his feet and runs out the door into the parking lot. Christopher Cardinal made a Athletics Check! | C6FYFhEZ3d6 |
