Palkia and Dialga have discussed and decided to test the ones who would upset the natural order. They have taken Usurpers from different timelines and pitted them against each other to test their mettle. Their only rule is you must establish your dominance over the other. The method does not matter.
A rather average sized woman in her mid teens materializes in an empty void. No matter which way she looks, she can't seem to find an end to the void. "Hey! Hey! Whoever put me here.. I HOPE YOU'RE LISTENING. I hope you're watching. I'm going to show you a little TASTE of what you're going to get if you keep messing with me." Once Lidith was done yelling at the void around her... she sat on the ground? waiting to see who else would show up.
Soon after the first arrival, a young... person also pops into existence a few feet in the air. She falls, tumbling over once before coming to a rest in a sprawled sit.
"Ya know, some cosmic forces'd have the common decency to give ya a smooth ride!" She yells out to the ether, more annoyed than hurt. "I mean, what? Is it just cos I called ya a..." he stops as she notices that she's not alone. "Oh, hey there, how ya doing?" He hops to her feet and extends a hand to shake. "Robin Romano, pleased to meet ya! I'm guessing the Great Gazoo or whoever just plonked you down here, too?"
Without turning around to see the... person who just arrive Lidith calls out, "so. You're another unfortunate one in this cruel game huh?" Lidith sighs before finally turning to face the newest entry. "Our cruel fates may have intertwined in this void, but I have no reason to go along with their plan. Despite this, it appears our only salvation from this hell is to appease them in this little game of theirs."
Lidith finally notices the extended hand, "So long as we're in this game, greetings are pointless. True mettle can only be tested in the heat of battle... so let us begin!"
Lidith steps away from you and prepares her bladed boomerang while tossing out the pokeball for her minccino, Lucky.
Robin withdraws her hand and raises an eyebrow. "Boy, do you know how to make a girl feel welcome." He feigns a look of offence, briefly, before smirking. He too steps back, her posture shifting noticably to a looser stance. "Still, a man's gotta do... you wanna roll over like that for some cosmic jackass, fine by me." She pulls her pokeball from behind his back and releases Kris, her Cherubi. "We got trouble, Kris!"
"Nice dodge, Kris!" Robin calls out, despite the attack seeming to have connected and hit hard. "Way this place messes with yer head, they probably think it hit too. Probably even think we're here at all or they're standing on solid ground or anything's real at all." She continues, talking incredibly quickly and keeping the nonsense coming, hoping to overwhelm the Mincinno with ideas.
He looks briefly at Lidith, peering over his sunglasses. "Not like someone as pretty as you could be real, am I right?"

"Well now, I suppose you are an interesting person after all. You've definitely drawn my attention, I hope you're prepared for that!" Lidith looks towards Robin having difficulty seeing anything other than... pure interest. Quite the strange feeling, but she couldn't help but stare. "Well, I guess while I've got my eyes on you!"
Lidith thrusts her arm to the side and begins to focus on it. "Oh dancing stars, fly sharply across the heavens... SWIFT!"
Well, that's new. Robin manages to think, too surprised to even try to dodge the lightning-quick stars. Not that she could have if she had tried.
Meanwhile, Kris reels back slightly from Lucky's blow before suddenly hopping up, seeming far more animate and lively. She knows it's just from her system doing some quick healing, but she doubts her opponent knows that. Instead, it should make them doubt their senses even more.
Smirking, she rams herself into the Minccino, putting as much force as she can behind it, trying to end things quickly.
Lucky is pushed back from the force of the tackle, rolling over once before barely landing on its feet. Visibly hurt, it shakes itself off before resuming a fighting stance. Lidith appears unfazed calling out, "Oh surprisingly strong are we? I guess we needn't hold back. Let's show them your true strength! Flail!"
Kris takes the hit hard, sprawling over and lying still.
Robin glances over and sighs, her smirk freezing in place. Withdrawing her pokemon, she looks, daggers, at Lidith. Right. Only one thing to do in this situation.
She marches up to Lidith, hands down, looking livid. As she gets close, she raises one fist behind her head. Then the other.
Then she opens her palms, her hands up. "I surrender." She says simply, still smirking. "I yield, you win, you have bested me, O mighty warrior!" She continues, poking fun at Lidith's exaggerated speech.
She pauses for a moment, then puts her hands down, looking nonplussed. "Anyway, now that you got that out of your system, ya think we could work on something constructive like, oh say for example, getting outta here?! I mean, I'm sure you beating the tar out of helpless li'l me'd make yer lady-balls feel big, but I don't see it doing much for the whole "stuck in an otherdimensional void" thing."
Seeing Robin put up his hands and surrender, lidith grabs her pokeball almost ready to recall Lucky. However, Robin's line at the end mustered a sigh from her, "See now, it would've been quite easy to end this charade, but since you don't seem all too serious about this..."
Lidith raises her bladed boomerang and sends it out to strike.
Lidith spends 1 AP to perform a double shot and uses her shift action to aim down the sight. She is still infatuated so she loses 5 atk stat! Lidith also spends 1 more AP to increase her accuracy this round.
Aim down the sight extends crit range to 18+. Sniper will cause crits to deal bonus damage!
Robin doubles over and kneels down, clearly out of this fight, consciousness starting to fade.
She looks up at Lidith, her smile finally fading into a sneer. Without warning, she spits on her opponent.
"You pathetic piece of shit!" She hisses, her voice thick with contempt. "Some asshole... WHO'S TOO CHICKEN-SHIT TO SHOW THEIR FACE WHEN THEY KIDNAP YA," she calls out to the void before returning her waning attention to Lidith, "pops ya down here and ya leap to fight for their amusement like a well-trained Growlithe. So congratulations, ya've won the right to be their bitch. Have fun!" Her smile finally returns. She flips Lidith off with both hands, even while falling backwards with a fading cackle, out of consciousness and out of this realm.
"And who, exactly, isn't showing their face?" The voice comes from the side, a woman in her early thirties sitting in a high backed chair, wearing a business suit, complete with pants. Robin feels her energy returning, keeping her conscious. "I'd appreciate it if you would stop insulting myself and Dialga. And we did not KIDNAP you. We simply borrowed you. You'll be returned to your pathetic existences momentarily. Well fought Lidith. Robin, don't kid yourself, you're already our bitch~" She grins, looking over her horn-rimmed glasses at both fighters, her hazelnut hair pulled into a tight bun. "Though, I suppose you want to know WHY we did this. Everyone always asks why, not how or anything interesting..." With that, she leans back and opens a planner, looking at the two usurpers expectantly.
"I don't need your reasons. I've taken the power of a god... a fact which your lot will not take kindly. But, I will make the rest of you accept me as a replacement. But it's clear that few will listen to or even believe in my story. So first I require power, to be strong enough to make them to listen to me. Then, if they refuse to accept me, I'll at least be able to stop them from trying to kill me."
Lidith steps directly in front of the female and stares directly at her, trying to lock eyes, "So. If you're here to help me gain that strength, then lets not waste any time. If you aren't... then how about sending us back home? I've got training to do."
Robin remains silent during Lidith's tirade, looking the girl over behind his sunglasses.
Once she's finished, he hops to her feet, using her newly-given energy to the fullest.
"Yeeeah, I got my doubts yer doing anything for our benefit," he says, her fast-talk accelerating slightly - his usual reaction to stress, "but 'less ya got any other fights you want us in for funsies, I'd quite like to go home too. I mean, from what I remember, I'm in deep enough shit as it is, so yer gonna have plenty to watch and laugh at one way or another. Plus we'd actually have a reason to fight!" She raises his sunglasses. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I like a good tussle as much as the next man, but a girl's gotta have standards, ya know?
"Oh and by the way, "why?" is second on my list after "who?"" He indicates the authoritative from before her. "I mean, I got a few guesses, but it'd nice to know who's name I should scream to the heavens and swear futile oaths of vengeance on as I'm dragged down into the eternal pits of the damned." She adopts a melodramtic tone and pose as he goes on. Once he finishes, though, she gives a comical shrug, letting the shades fall back down. "I'm a traditionalist!"
She smiles and forces herself to keep silent, wondering how the being would react, if at all, to her switching to self-mockery.

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
