It's times like these Harrison's really thankful for those super cool calm and collected Uxie powers- that said, even this situation was strange, and being connected to Mesprit just feeling even a fraction of the emotions running through her right now was giving him quite a stir.
He opens his mouth to speak, but no words come out- only sheer panic. He closes his eyes tight, still holding onto Mesprit, and hopes for the best.
Panic. That's what the brain that lives inside Vivian's head orders. Thankfully, she has a whole 'nother one to call upon, one that can take that kind of emotion and stick it in a neatly labeled box. She wraps her stubby digits around the Uxie's arm and telekinetically latches onto the chatot and mime jr, holding them in place long enough they can pokeball them. She starts to tug away from the approaching stream, trying to move out of its reach. They can't die here, nor now, and she doesn't care that neither here nor now have any meaning at the moment.
Within this Void between realities, it was good that the two recalled their pokemon so quickly, for there was no atmosphere to breathe in. The Usurpers, having the bodies of the Legendaries, were fine to exist here, but found their movements sluggish and short. Something about this Void was oppressive, slowing and keeping them in place. All the while, the Stream beneath them was rising, coming to swallow them up and dash them to bits throughout space and time. Rising and rising, roaring beneath them with the relentless progress of time... It was about to swallow them when...
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING OUT HERE?! You know you're not very good at traveling here! Jeez, you're lucky I was passing by..." A green bubble prevents you from falling into the stream, and you're lifted away from it easily, now in a new shelter from the ravages of time. As you look up, you see what appears to be some sort of green fairy, sitting midair with one leg crossed over the other. She looks both annoyed and worried. "And... Wait a second why do you two have pokeballs?"

After a few moments of not being swallowed up and destroyed and hearing someone's voice, Harrison opens his eyes.
"Oh- oh my- thank you so much. I thought we were done for!" a look of relief washes over him, although his expression quickly turns to hesitant when asked the question.
"Well umm... it's complicated. To be honest- I don't know the full story anyhow. I used to be just a guy, but then some weird stuff happened and now I'm also a Uxie. I didn't choose to be this way on purpose though, honest! I just want to go home... back to Eden"
"What Uxie means," 'Mesprit' cuts in. "Is that Dialga and Palkia have been playing mean jokes, and we want to go back to our lake." She glares at Harrison, though there's no malice in it. She feels exhaustion creeping in, like she just ran a hundred miles in a minute, but as most feelings she can put that away from the moment. Bottle it up. "We would appreciate any help you can give us." Lying to a god... what's next? Killing another one?
The Celebi frowns, but not at you, more at itself. It reaches into its skirt and pulls out a notebook, flipping through the pages and mumbling to itself. "Let's see.... Heroes Battle, passed, great view, Giovanni's escape, prevented, Usurper's Test... Ah! That's now! You guys must be from Eden. Sucks what happened." The Celebi nods, having remembered the occasion for its travel here. "So you guys are the ones who burst the bubble! I'm impressed. It's pretty hard to do that, especially when you're just learning yourself. TRUST me I know how long it takes to grow into powers." It nods, and extends its hand. "The name's Cecil. Cecil the Celebi."

Harrison sort of awkwardly reaches out it's tiny little arm to shake Celebi's, "Harrison- nice to meet you too. Oh- and uh, thanks for helping us and stuff- I really appreciate it man" he turns his head in Vivian's direction to see how she's taking this all- now that the moment had passed, he was already beginning to return to that calm, more peaceful state of mind once more, and could better inquire about his surroundings.
Vivian sighs, deflating as much as a levitating fairy can. At least she doesn't need to lie anymore. "Vivian," she answers, begrudgingly offering her own stubby limb to shake. "Are you like us? Is that why you have a name?" She's curious, but also a little desperate. She has nothing to work with, here. The celebi isn't telegraphing anything she can use to increase her standing and better whatever outcome they have in store.
Cecil shakes each of their hands, then his head, chuckling. "I have a name because I'm sentient enough to want one. I was born a Celebi as well, so I can't say we have that in common. And uh... Don't thank me quite yet. I'm going to have to put you back in your proper timelines shortly, and things aren't easy there. Buuuuuuut.... Dialga isn't my boss so I can answer some questions, as long as there are no spoilers." He grins, leaning back against the bubble in a relaxed manner.

Harrison thinks long and hard about this. He can literally ask a god any question he wants- there are so many things he could figure out- why his parents hated him, why team bond did this to him, if he would indeed ever get a girlfriend. Everything came rushing to him at once- but finally (and reluctantly), he made his decision.
He gave a heartbreaking sigh and offered a weak smile. "Can you take us home now?" aww, cmon Harrison- what a party pooper!
Vivian's mind races with question after question, gauging the possible answers, and the likely outcomes. She wants to come out stronger for this. This is her one chance to get herself an advantage. She glares at Harrison, when he refuses, but her eyes soften eventually. He must have his reasons.
Her voice almost cracks, as she hurries to ask the question, though she stops herself from just spewing it forth and instead clears her throat, or whatever bit of physiology legendaries use to talk? "Where," she begins. "Is the largest amount of unsupervised money one could just take, within the boundaries of Eden and its immediacies."
Cecil opens his mouth to answer Harrison, then stares at Vivian and bursts out laughing. "Pfffffahahahahahahahahahaha!" It takes a full minute before he calms down enough to speak again. He wipes a tear from his eye, shaking his head. "Oh man... That's hilarious, I mean, I give you a question and you ask THAT?! Man! Talk about comedy gold. Well! To answer in order, you can if you want, but you won't remember any of this. You may not even be in the same reality. As for the money, I honestly don't know. I wasn't paying attention to your realities, so I couldn't tell you offhand. Sorry I couldn't answer that one. Anything else you guys wanna ask?"

There is one question that's been on Harrison's mind for a long, long time. He didn't think of it until just now- but when it came to him and he finally asked- his voice came out very quiet and serious.
Vivian seems very put upon at the laughing, and just stares blankly afterwards. She pulls back, hovering slightly behind Harrison, and just settles herself there to float. If this guy isn't going to give her anything to work with then why should she even ask? If she wouldn't be able to remember then he may as well not answer.
Cecil bites his lip, obviously torn on whether to answer the question, but his word gets the better of him. "... In order to Usurp the power of a Legendary, a human has to kill the pokemon. Not just normally, as in most realities Legendaries revert to an egg form every few hundred years. This resets their power, but allows them to learn new moves and partake in the world a bit better than the previous cycle. Usurping means cutting them off from that cycle of life, death and rebirth somehow. I don't know EXACTLY how it was done in your world... But I can promise you it wasn't pretty, and some of the other Legendaries will be out for blood. But... You two are smart. You managed to beat the Barrier Dialga set up, so maybe you two can figure out a way to deal with the others without violence!"
Cecil seems hopeful, and is desperately trying to believe his own words. Not that either of you know that.

Harrison just floats there quietly, giving a small, almost non-existent nod as a display to show he was still listening. He didn't have anything else to ask: his fear had just been given reason. All Harrison wanted now was to go home.
Vivian lets out a shuddering breath. She had been holding it, in some vain attempt at hope. She had known the answer already, in her temporarily-changed heart, soul and bones. With a flutter she levitates away from the other two, signing for them to give her a moment alone. What was she supposed to think about this? It scares her, that it's so difficult to care about the outcome, just because an authority chose it over her.
She contemplates that, for a few minutes. Her one pokeball spins around between her hands, the rotation growing slower and slower. There's little she wishes more for than to send Simon out and talk with him about this. The way he just sits there and listens, and then repeats a strange mix of half-remembered phrases and mimicked sounds, trying to make himself understood, it's almost like having a real friend.
By the end of it, she's lost her orientation, spinning about in empty space. When she approaches the other two, it's upside-down. "We should be going, now. Is there no way to maintain contact?"

Cecil shakes his head. "I'm afraid not. Palkia and Dialga have set it up so anything besides a Celebi that returns to their original timeline won't remember anything from this place between the streams. There's a possibility the two of you will meet again in your respective worlds, or you may end up in the same timeline, but I don't know if that's going to happen. Sadly, I'm just an observer, not a predictor. I wish you guys as much luck as I can give." With that, the bubble splits in two, wrapping itself around each of you as Cecil is back in the open void. He gives you a thumbs up as you start to drift away, back to your respective streams of time.

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
