Once they get to the taller grass, Reks makes sure that his pal Skout stayed by his side as to not wander to far ahead or away from each other. He constantly was looking around making sure that nothing strayed too close to their tiny group. Wouldn't want to get attacked by wild Pokemon looking for an easy meal. Stick close everyone, it's getting thicker here; don't want to get separated. He turns back just as they hear the rumbling of what sounded like the raiders again, and then relieved as they find out it is just a hungry Arbok. Everything needs to eat... Hopefully the green building isn't too far. We don't have a lot of supplies to last the 8 of us.

Min looks around in the taller grass. So many Pokémon here. She wonders if there are any useful plants nearby, but dares not to look. The grass is tall, and she rather not get lost of the rest. And after Reks warning, she surely didn't want to stay behind. She sound that made her think it would have been the first sons, startled her. "Hide," she says, before dropping on the ground. When she heard it was an Arbok fighting, she got up, and looks at the rest. The Arbok fighting, is still making her a bit uneasy. Calm down Min. It is nothing.

No useful additions, no... Cloak kept taking notes of area. Spore was out of pokeball, for some reason, and kept scuttling behind him. Strong pokemon in area. Useless for research, yes... Arbok, Meganium... unexpected. Luckily not aggresive. He stopped for moment to take Spore up and place it on his shoulder, then continued walk.

Julia doesn't need telling to try to stay together - what she does do is repeat Reks's instruction, which probably isn't necessary either but having him take the lead isn't great for her ego. "Right, stay close!" She rests a hand on Eric's shell again, just to make sure. The familiar woody feeling is comforting - they still have each other, if nothing else.
She looks around warily at the Pokémon life going on all around them. Trying to pull some of the Pokémon out of the herd might be good for extra food, or even additional defense, but that would probably upset the Meganium, which Julia knows full well they probably can't take on. She watches the Arbok attacking the Deerling for a moment. "Say, Reks. Think we should do some hunting of our own? It'd save some of the supplies for later."

Reks considers Julia's idea. Yes, we should do that. He looks around at the other herds and the arbok fighting the deerling. I don't think we should try to do any hunting just yet though. We need to find our own catch, so the deerling would be out of the question... maybe one from that herd. That Meganium would be a fight we don't want though. He then begins to think about their defenses... maybe catching some strong pokemon could help up survive. He keeps looking at the Arbok attacking the Deerling. I don't want to be that deerling... we should get some more guards soon.

The sun lazily makes its way across the sky, up to its zenith, before lazily beginning its descent to the western horizon. As you begin to wonder where you should camp, you notice a certain dampness in the air- a clear indicator of a body of water nearby. According to the map a lake lies about two or three days from the Green Building; this is likely the source of the dampness. Of course, such a body of water likely has predators nearby....

Reks feels the dampness. According to the map there should be a lake nearby. His hunters instincts tells him, water is a mixed blessing. They'd have to be extra careful and watching everything when they go to get water. Large bodies of water have always been a prime area for hunting grounds for large carnivorous pokemon. Hey everyone, there should be a lake nearby. If we decide to go to the lake for fresh water, everyone needs to keep a watchful eye around them. Not to scare anyone, but many carnivorous pokemon may be using the lake as a hunting grounds. He pauses for a bit, gauging their responses. What do you all want to do?

Min listens to Reks. She trusts his word on the carnivorous Pokémon being nearby. She does not like the sound of that, but still. "We can spare water that way, any maybe we find some seeds I can use to grow stuff. Just check it out for safety before, alright?" Min hopes that this would be enough warning. She does not want to see battle so soon, but sometimes, there is no other way.

Up ahead, you can see the lake. It's..... pretty big. There are a few groves of trees growing, and large patches of weeds dot the shore. As to be expected of a watering hole of this size, plenty of Pokemon are congregating around it- largely herds first form Pokemon, with a few second and third form Pokemon leading the pack. Basically, any herbivorous Pokemon that lives in a Grassland habitat can be found here. Carnivorous Pokemon and Pokemon with unusual dietary restrictions may also be found here, but it'll take some looking...

Julia nods in agreement with Min. "Extra water's not exactly a bad idea. I think it's worth risking; we've got enough of us to keep watch for trouble and still get some sleep if we want to camp there tonight."
When they reach the lake, her eyes widen, taking in the number of Pokémon coming down to drink. This looks like a good place to let the more herbivorous members of the group scrounge up some dinner, if nothing else. Of course, the risk is definitely still there, and Julia glances around warily, keeping an eye out for trouble.
"Think this would be a good opportunity to hunt some?" she suggests. "Or at least try to forage for some more supplies. I mean, all these trees here, maybe some of them are berry trees - do you see any, Min?" Julia's not as knowledgeable about plants as Min, of course, and she knows it. After the blows they've all suffered last night and this morning, it's easier to put her pride aside and ask for advice.

Min looks around at the Pokémon nearby. She can see some she is interested in. Maybe, if I finally have my garden back up, I can catch more. When she hears Julia speaking of the options, she takes a better look around to spot some trees that might have potential for resources. "I think that is possible Julia, but, I would need someone to protect me while I take a closer look. And hunting might not a bad idea either, we can use the food." Min then looks to the rest of the group. "What do you guys think?"

Cloak continued to write down in his journal. "I, well, think that is a great idea, yes, great." He finally closed it, and looked around. "First, however... we need more... aid for hunting, don't we?" Spore clicked few times. "I think he agree." Spend 1 AP to add note of area to album (he was drawing for long time, so extended is fine right?) Perception to see pokemon: g_zTXX7g (+2 if bonus from chronicler apply) (One from my list pref. Honedge + one grass type for Aureus) And other roll cuz i suck at this forum. 4d6

Reks thought about the idea of hunting. Yes, it could work. We would have to find a lone or weakened creature though. He looked around the lake for anything that would look easy to take on. Hmm, yes we could do some hunting; just have to be careful. Unnecessary battle may draw unwanted attention from predators.
He then looked at Min, Maybe we should scavenge for now and help Min with getting resources. Reks suggests, trying to take away from the fact that without a proper hunting pack its going to be tough for him to hunt.

Cloak's search startles a group of Budew and Tangela, who begin to scatter, chirping and warbling. However, it also uncovers what might've been the remains of an old building. While the thing is little more than a foundation, there is what looks to be a basement. The door is locked shut with rusty chains.

Julia glances back and forth between the door and the scattering Pokémon. "Anyone want to go after them? Or do we all want to investigate... this thing?"
She looks over the chains on the door with a little wince. Who knows what's in there? Or even if they can get the chains open? But if they want to go after the Budew and Tangela - for food or for extra Pokémon - they probably don't have long before they're all hidden away.

Cloak took few looks at Tangela. "Hey, know what, you look quite strong, yes. You would open it faster than we would, yes."He started to approach the ruin. "There might be food too, yes, there might! If there is, we would open it for you so you can eat it, yes!DKhAzdrW3d6Guile to get on Tangela - look quite strong ect[/roll] 3d6

One Tangela stops running. While it doesn't come closer, it turns to Cloak curiously, its tendrils waving ever so slightly as it scrutinizes Cloak and tries to figure out his motives.

Min looks at what Cloak is trying to do. She speaks to her Pokémon while he is working on getting the Tangela's to help out. "Well Emma, it might not hurt to have one Pokémon help us open it. Maybe there are seeds inside." She sounds rather excited. She waits eagerly for the results of Cloak, hoping he could get the Tangela to help them.

Curious about the beings that have entered its previously self-contained life, the Tangela waddles forward a few paces, curiously looking up at each of you. Your attention drawn as it is, all of you are startled when something bangs on the inside of the locked doors, startling you.

Julia manages to only jump slightly when something slams against the doors, though she whirls around to look at it warily. "Okay, that's... unexpected." She looks down at the rusted chain again. Whatever's in there must have been in there quite a while... what could have survived that long locked away like that?
She looks over at Reks, since the two of them are probably the most focused on actually fighting, or at least having their Pokémon do so, and Cloak and Min are focused on the Tangela. "I... think we want to be careful if we get this thing open. Doesn't sound like whatever's in there is happy."
