Well, should probably put my own oar in.
About Me: Twenty-eight year old single guy. I like to think I'm pretty friendly, and able to talk to people. I will admit to having a temper and being impulsive from time to time. I'm also stubborn, so when I do clash with someone it'll generally escalate rather than cool off, unless there's outside intervention. Usually though, things can be talked out before it hits the real bad point.
General Role-playing Experience: I came into the game (heh) side of things relatively late, and literally by accident, when I was about 18. I'd had some experience with collaborative story-telling posts on a previous forum, and got embroiled with what I mistakenly believed was another such thread. Turned out to be a setup for a real-time game of Shadowrun; and when the group realized I had sort of bumbled in without realizing it, they were kind enough to invite me in to learn how to play. Shadowrun was the first game system I learned, followed up by D&D 3.5. Those two make up the bulk of my TTRPG experience, with a little bit of exposure to Exalted (not a fan of White Wolf settings in general) and a short-lived campaign in GURPS, and some familiarity with Pathfinder
Pokemon Tabletop Experience: Like many on the site, I first came across PTA. Well before PTU came out, a friend of mine ran a campaign for us. It was... alright. My paleontologist nearly accidentally froze the entire region attempting to clone part of a local Legendary fossil, and Shadow pokemon were a thing. But between the restrictions on cross-classing, and the disconnect between player and mon stats, when I found PTU it was like moving from AD&D to 3.5. Since then I've been fairly active in the community and have followed along as the updates and playtests have been released.
