Blake: It almost escaped your mind, but you suddenly remember hearing about it. The heraldry seems to be from house Löwen. They used to be a strong family, but disappeared suddenly around 50 years ago. No-one knows what happened to them. You can still find some of their towers and castles around the countryside. Their main castle, Löwenburg, stood in the village of the same name.

Horizon Lily listens to Blake's exposition on the origin of the heraldry (assuming he speaks up, of course). "So this is a dead tower for a dead House. Interesting... to historians anyway. Come on, let's keep moving."

There's not much left on this floor except for a staircase to the next one. Strangely, the stairs themselves seem to be clean, as it shows no sign of being burned. (stairs are made of stone)

Seeing the faces of his companions focused in though as they all try to see if they recognise the mark, Blake speaks up"Lowen" he says out loud. "That's definitely the mark of House Lowen. Does this mean that they're connected to what's going on now? And if so, for what purpose?"After explaining all he knew about the subject, Blake follows Horizon up the stairs to explore the rest of the tower

At the top of the stairs you see a room that seems kind of indentical to the one you first entered. Except, there's a sort of screen in front of where the door would be on the first floor.

You see the screen is part of the wall, opening it would probably lead outside. There's a table against the wall almost identical to the one downstairs, except this one has a large container of water right in the middle of it. The water seems darker than what normal water would look like.

As you all enter the top floor, you can hear the grinding of stones behind you. When you look behind you, you can see that the area where the stairs are is now gone! You also hear a loud splashing going on over at the table. The liquid in the container seems to be living. Whatever it is, it jumps forward and attacks. Everyone can re-position themselves, but you can't stray more than 3 tiles from the top of the stairs (marked by a black dot)

Upon hearing the splashing Kara jumps to that side of the group and lowers into a fighting stance with Fasa taking a similar stance to her right. "Oh? Nothing is allowed to trap my new friends!"

The liquid was a grimer in disguise, waiting to attack anything that approaches. It jumps out of the container and belches a poisonous gas over Kara and Fisa! Just as Grimer releases the gas Kara covers her mouth saying "Fisa don't breath it." Kara then glances back to see Fisa had ducked beneath the gas cloud in time. It misses both.

The Grimer has a speed of 3, so I believe everyone is faster than it.
