Isabella
Kat's snoozing Zubat is struck soundly by Chouette's blow and falls down to the floor. "Well, that's that, I suppose," Kat says after a moment. "I only have one Pokemon," she explains. Which...rather brings up the question as to why she entered a tournament all about having two Pokemon.
Jeremy
After an (extremely) protracted battle between the two grass-types, and a slightly less protracted battle between Ellis and first Ivy and then Harria, Oscar emerges victorious from his block.
That one fight between the two NPCs
Jakob, as it turns out, is someone who presumably works at Professor Willow's lab, judging from his lab coat (and the rather disdainful look he gives to Bernard, who is watching the tournament.) Ali is a teenage boy younger than any of you, who arrives with a Squirtle who looks rather like the one you'd seen playing in the puddles the day before. With a weaker Pokemon and less training, the general consensus is that Ali isn't likely to win.
What actually happens is a rather impressive display of an underdog being victorious. Ali clearly pushes his Pokemon harder than most people, and it pays off. With a good helping of encouragement and more than a little luck, Ali's Squirtle and Jakob's Paras more or less take each other out, leaving their second Pokemon - Munchlax and Gastly respectively - to face off in an extremely brief scuffle that ends when Ali's Munchlax hammers into the ghost with an enormous blow.

"That's one heck of a Pokémon, though. I'd always heard Zubat were supposed to be weak. I guess it's the training that counts, huh?" Isabella recalls Chouette with a quiet "Good job!" and nods back at Kat. "Good match. I need to rethink my strategy a little, definitely." So that Prickles won't wind up going down quite so easily next time.
She watches the other fights with interest, contemplating how she's going to handle them. She thinks she might have a slight edge on Oscar, but for a young guy Ali looks like a tough customer. Especially that Munchlax. Oh, well. If I wanted things to be easy, I wouldn't have signed up.

It was tough battle, especially after Almond managed to reflect Ivy's damage back at her. However, Oscar had managed to turn it around with use of Ivy's minor water abilities, both protecting herself from Ellis's fiery attacks and doing some surprising damage to him.
After the battle, he strides up to Jeremy across the battlefield, holding his hand out to shake. "Excellent! A splendid battle, well fought, sir!" He says, boistrously, genuinely impressed by the young man.

The Pokemon Centre is, while not much busier than it was before, certainly a little more hectic, what with various people queueing up to hand their Pokemon in to be healed in some cases and receive their already-healed Pokemon in others. As such, it takes a little while for the resident nurse to get around to giving out rewards for the tournament, which are, as it turns out...kinda underwhelming. She very 'helpfully' pools the rewards for first, third and fourth places for a grand total of 3 Potions and $1500 to split between the three of you.
Perhaps more interestingly, the wagon-building League group have in the meantime managed to wheel their wagon outside the Pokemon Centre and propped up a handwritten sign besides it which advertises 'Costum Pokeballs!'

Isabella feels a little better after talking with Sibyl on the way back to the Pokemon Center, but she's still clearly suffering from and resenting a bruised ego. The small prize from the tournament doesn't really help, either; as much as she's been trying to take charge up to now, she's probably going to leave how they divide things up to the others.
She was just going to hang out outside the Pokémon Center and sulk for a bit, but the wagon gets her attention. Assuming their skill at making these custom Pokéballs is better than their spelling, it could be interesting to take a look, at least. (Unless they're costume Pokéballs?)
She wanders over curiously. "So you guys are doing... what, exactly?"

The initial good mood from winning the battle with Isabella wore off quickly, since now Sibyl was feeling bad for Isabella and didn't want to rub it in. But she doesn't push it too much, she figures Isabella just needs sometime to cool off.
Sibyl looks down at the pool of rewards with a difficult expression on her face. She thanks the nurse, and turns to the 'group' (of Oscar only right now, after looking around briefly for Isabella), saying "Well, guess you should have the final say on it, since you did win. Did you want to keep a bit more or something?"

"I shouldn't have thought so." Oscar replies, smiling, a little oblivious to his companions' low moods. "After all, if money were my object, I'd have never left home. I think a third each for such excellent battling is perfectly equitable. Besides which, the pokemon centre is free, as far as I'm aware, and, just at the moment, that's something more of a priority." He finishes, sounding a little worried.
He looks towards the back room of the Centre, where his pokemon are being healed. Ivy should be fine, of course, but Harria took a nasty hit in the last fight which, combined with the previous battles, might mean she requires a bit more care. There's almost certainly no danger of anything permanently damaging, of course, but he's still a little anxious.

The boy behind the wagon (kinda short and scrawny, messy long brown hair, thick glasses), who was reading a technical-looking book and not paying much attention, jumps slightly at Isabella's question and hurriedly stuffs the book back into his pocket. "I'm selling Pokeballs, I think. Why, has someone stolen the sign?"
There's a slightly awkward pause as he peers slightly more closely at you. "Oh, wait, you're one of the other people who started a few days ago! How has your journey been going?"

"Could be worse, I guess. How about you?" And that's really all she wants to say about that. She's trying to distract herself from the tournament results here.
She tilts her head curiously. "Cool. Seems like a neat idea, actually, get a little extra money on the trip. What sort of Pokéballs are you selling? I mean, it says custom on the sign..." She glances at the misspelled sign. "I think."

"Well..." The boy looks around as if checking no-one is listening in. "One of our group went home before we even set off, one of them seems to just want to go shopping for clothes and hasn't caught a single Pokemon yet and the other one wants to be in charge of everything. So, you know...'could be worse.'"He perks up slightly when the topic of conversation turns to the Pokeballs. "Oh, well, I have these balls, which are just like normal Pokeballs but with different decorations. I don't really know why anyone would buy them, but Eve insisted. You can tell me what sort of decoration you want if you want, but that would take more time because I'd need to make it. Um, then I have these ones." He pulls a tray of five Pokeballs out from under the wagon. "They were meant to be like Net Balls but I think I got them a bit wrong, because they only work on one type."OOCThe fancy balls are just Basic Balls that cost 275, but have no real impact other than style points. He effectively has a limitless supply of these. And then he has a Bug Ball, a Fighting Ball, a Ghost Ball, a Psychic Ball and a Rock Ball. Each one costs 500, and has a -20 to Catch Rate when used against a Pokemon of the appropriate type. "I don't know about the extra money thing, though," he adds. "This wasn't my idea, just my Pokeballs. I assume Simon is keeping track of the money. We probably haven't made that much anyway. You're the first person that's spoken to me today," he adds, suddenly sounding shy.

Sibyl smiles in response to Oscar: she hoped that this would be the response, and says a quick "No worries," and takes her share. Sibyl follows Oscar's anxious stare to the back of the Center, and briefly worries about the beating Paddy got: but she was obviously a fighter, so there shouldn't be a problem either. "They'll be fine, don't worry too much," she continues, attempting to help Oscar relax. "Besides, look, there's at the wagon: why not join Iz there?"

"Capital idea, Sibyl!" Oscar replies, hopping to his feet, thankful for the distraction. "Let's see what they have, shall we?"
He strolls out and up to the booth, pickingup one of the fancy balls and looking at it critically. "I say, these are rather attractive. I confess, I tend toward the baisc Poke Ball myself - something classic and elegant about the simplicity of the design, I feel. Nevertheless, I think these look rather nice."

Isabella chuckles quietly. "Yeah. Plenty of us seem to hit rocky starts - the guy who won the tournament joined our group after his had some sort of problem."
She examines the fancy Pokéballs curiously. "Well, I mean, the contests are a big deal in this league. Style counts for a lot - oh, salut." Isabella waves slightly as the others approach. "The Psychic Ball looks interesting. What'd my share of the prize come to?" Because she's pretty sure she can't afford it without that.

Sibyl nods and follows behind Oscar, glad to see him distracted from his worries.
As she approaches, she returns Isabella's wave and continues the conversation. "Hey Iz - ooh, Pokeballs... oh, you got a Potion and $500 by the way," handing Isabella the prizes. She then looks a little closely at a kinda spooky looking Ball in the boy's tray (a 'Ghost Ball', apparently) and looks carefully at it. "Hmm, I like this... would be useful,"she ponders, as she pokes it somewhat carefully.
