Hi! My name's Marin, or Mari as I often go by. I'm a relative newcomer to the Tabletop scene, having only experienced a bit of D&D in the past, but I've got a lot of writing experience behind me. I'm looking to give PTU or PTA a shot, hopefully with a GM who doesn't mind a bit of coddling. There are a couple of things I'd want to advertise to a GM looking for a player.
For starters while my avatarsake is the most likely character I'll be playing around with, I've got a very wide selection of charaters I enjoy playing. From OCs like the aspiring dragon master in in my avatar, a hard working cowgirl and a mentally detached 'spirit fanatic' to a handful of canon characters I would enjoy playing if I ever got the chance. (Iris, Yellow, Leaf/Blue and Hilda come to mind.) Who I play will mostly depend on my mood and any feedback I receive from others.
Second, my playstyle. I'm somewhat analytical, so I will try to make my characters strong with whatever I'm given to work with. However, I am also easily tempted to do silly things if I'm given a bit of wiggle room and I simply cannot be trusted not to jump on board the first girls' love ship I'm tempted with. My writing style tends to put prose before mechanics, as prose is what I'm used to.
Lastly, what I'm looking for. I'm interested in doing a play-by-post of an easy going pace. I'm not too picky on the setting and story right now, because I do have flexible character options and I can only imagine what everyone could come up with, but something with a character driven plot would probably feel like home to me.
