Hiya all! I've been hanging around for a few months now occasionally applying for games here an there and decided it couldn't hurt to have one of these up as well.
At the time of writing I am 31 years old and have been playing tabletop RPG's since freshman year in high school with a brand new shiney Third Edition Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set. That year I GMed my first game and have been playing these types of game ever since. More often than not, I tend to find myself behind the screen for my players since I tend to get the most into reading the books and writing the story, but I've played a fair bit myself, in a handful of different systems. Mostly DnD but few others as well like Vampires: The Masquerade, Exalted, and Alternity. As for PTU, I'm pretty new to the game, having discovered it a only a few months ago. I started running a local game weekly with some friends and it's working out fine since we are all noobs together.
PbP is pretty new to me and still a bit daunting. It seems quite a bit different from what I'm used to, but it looks like it could be my best chance to play in a PTU game. I jumped into learning the mechanics ever since then and have a dozen or more test character sheets that I've created so I hope I have a good understanding of the rules. I like to make characters that are effective both mechanically and have a complete personality. I'm used to working out concepts with the people I play with so I tend to be flexible with the types of characters I play. Not to mention I spend all day constantly checking on forums and reddits that I frequent so I've got plenty of time all day to check for updates and to reply with my own.
I could probably talk about myself all day, but I hope this serves to help just get a bit of information about me whilst I get to know people around here.
