Sup, everyone, I'm Solivagus! Looking to be a player in a PbP game about Pokemon. I have extensive experience playing in DnD and Pathfinder as well as a DM for both.
My favorite pokemon has always been Sandshrew/Sandslash. It was a staple pokemon for my team in almost every generation and I always wished that it got more love from the developers. If I played in a PTU game it would be initially as a trainer of a Sandshrew/Sandslash.
Also a huge fan of Fossil pokemon and Eevee evolutions, mostly Umbreon, Flareon(poor Flareon got shafted by a terrible move pool), and Leafeon, though Vaporeon and Jolteon always offer a beastly special attack powerhouse combo platter. The Curse Umbreon is my favorite build. I wish Sandslash had viable tournament builds but it pales in high-end combat (a real irritant as a fan). I'm more of an experienced breeder than anything else, having made a bunch of near-perfect eevees, a perfect eevee, a bunch of near-perfect clauncher, and recently a bunch of near-perfect kabuto. I built a few tourney teams, a eevee evolution team and a sandstorm team(holy crap that was haaaaaaaaard) before the monotony finally did me in, lol. I still collect in the current Gen(Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire) but I'd like to get into something more play-by-post oriented.
Hope this post finds a GM and happy hunting to my fellow Pokefans!

Hey, hey, welcome to the forums! Now, this post is a good way to link and show off when a GM wants to know more about you, but the fact is that you'll achieve much higher success in actively looking for a game, and persevering, then waiting for someone to invite you from here. Now, don't get discouraged if you can't find one immediately, because competition is fierce, but just keep trying. Good luck!

Hmmm, I'm more of Game Master at this point in my life. I think I'll begin work on a Dungeon Crawling PTU Campaign. When should I post it in the GMs Looking For Players section? Closer to finish or early on for interest-gauging purposes?

One thing that you'll come to learn about PTU, is that no matter what your campaign is, there will basically always be interest. So, you'll probably want to wait until you have it mostly all put together.
