Your attack seems to trigger some sort of fail-safe in Brianna's upgrades. You get a nasty electric shock that saps your strength as she grunts from the impact of your hit. She retaliates by raising her arm again and firing another Point-Blank shot. Umbreon, meanwhile, sends a little ghostly light spinning around Scier's head in an attempt to confuse her, then promptly falls asleep. As it does, however, it's rings glow briefly, and Scier dozes off as well.

Lia manages to manuever back to not take the full impact of that shot, but is still hurting. The poison coursing through her skin doesn't help. But her body decides it's had enough of that nonsense, and a surge of power throws the poison off, and gives Lia just that little bit more power. 5ppjxlBS1d20Scier and the Umbreon continue their slumber party. A less poisoned and angrier Lia unleashes another flurry of attacks. Save (Not that it matters) 1d20Lia uses the Flip Out Splash to resist 12 of the damage coming at her. She then activates Adrenaline Rush, giving her a stage in her trained stats, a tick of HP, and curing one condition.

Metal Larvitar becomes Burned by Flame Orb! It's fancy metal skin also absorbs some of Scier's attack strength, just like before. It raises its little arm and a gun comes out! It fires some sort of small, Scier-seeking missile.

The attacks both down Lia and Flare. A couple of balls shake on Lia's belt, and her young Froakie Halas and the familiar Los come out into the fight. (Los to replace Flare, Halas to replace Lia, so Halas gets an action still) Halas quickly throws bubbles in every direction, hoping to hit both enemy pokemon Bubble vs Both targets
