At Brandon's word, Dragonair begins generating electricity from the orbs on its tail and at its neck. It charges forward, slamming into Omastar so hard that it stuns it momentarily. Shortly afterward, the flow of time returns to normal and Dragonair moves once more before Omastar can react.

With a final slam from its tail, Dragonair causes Omastar to fall quiet as it slips blissfully into unconsciousness.

Having not expected this at all, Brandon goes flying into the pool, much to the delight of Missy and most of the other nearby Gym Trainers. One of them even goes so far as to practically toss him outside as well. He got his badge, so he can get out and stay gone for all they care.

Lia males a mental note to figure out how to get to Drew at some point. She knows they can be gym trainer buddies eventually! With the trainers for the day slowing down, she chats more with the others, hangs out with Missy and Nathan, and takes laps in the pool.

Having decided it wasn't cool to pummel a Pokemon just minding its own business into the dirt, Lia heads back to town to search for a more appropriate target for her pent-up rage. She finds a gal just hanging out on a bench tinkering with... her arm? That's weird. She challenges her anyway though, pushing any questions about what the heck she's doing with her arm to the back of her mind. She grins slightly and closes a panel on her right arm (the one she was messing with) and stands up. Some of her skin seems to be shiny, or synthetic.
Upgrader Brianna offers a 6 on 6, Full Contact match. When Lia agrees, they both ready their Pokemon.
Brianna begins with a Nidorina, but it's not a normal one. It, too, appears to have some "extra bits" added on, including a spike attached to its tail.

Lia is a little off-put by all the cybernetic enhancements, but she won't deny a challenge. Certainly not with how she feels. "Hope you are good with all that equipment, cause I'm going to give it a 'stress test'. So just don't fall apart on me eh?"Scier tries to interject between Lia and the cyber-lady, but Lia waves Scier off. "We got this, don't worry."As Lia charges, Scier floats behind, and against her master's orders, is worrying. She keeps pushing herself so hard physically like this and it won't end well... Lia charges through both of them, and when she gets to the end, she still seems to whir with energy to keep attacking! Lia uses Aerial Ace (Pass Upgraded) vs Nidorina and Brianna!

Lia whips her head back at the last second in order to dodge the LITERAL ARM GUN that popped out. After the shot sails past, she levels her head back down, obviously angry. She launches in her air, hoping to stomp both feet down on the upgrader's head. Lia uses Dodge to not, y'know, die. From the cannon.
