While Silas doesn't see anything extraordinary about the District, he does notice Soliel's distraction and Thoron's searching. It appears they have something to work with already, but no good way to communicate it privately. He attempts to formulate a question in a way that will not draw suspicion. "Oh, have any of you seen our friend yet? We were counting on him to tell us where we need to go." Silas puts some meaningful emphasis on the last few words, hoping the others will get the hint.
Silas pauses for a moment, then continues with a fake and cheerful smile. "If he's not going to come meet us, we could just get started. I know you ladies prefer to sit at the slots and such. Maybe there's a place where us boys can have proper fun while you two watch and keep us out of trouble." As he speaks, Silas realizes his faked energy is increasing. He's a little disgusted by the persona he's adopting, but it's needed to keep the group moving in a productive direction.

When Silas stops, Soleil looks over not looking at the crowd anymore. "Oh...we have somebody else coming?" Soleil asks confused as she looks around and counts the group mentally. She looked very confused at Silas as he kept talking. "Uhhh...right..." She said wondering if he had hit his head. He was acting really weird and fake and she didn't like it so she was eager to take the chance to get away and to the slots if that was what the group wanted. "Well, see you guys inside!" She said quickly skipped towards the entrance to get in line to enter (if there was a line, otherwise she just walks through front door).

At first baffled by his fellow Technician's comments, and then simply unsure if she had just slipped into character already, Thoron watches Soleil leave... assuming she was still within sight when he registered that she had left. Down to just two teammates (and a blissfully silent Peter), he answers Silas with, "It doesn't look like he's coming, no. Seems he's late again... Whatever, we should go in without him."
Once the group starts moving, he suggests, "Lets just find a table, and then we can see what games look promising."

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnngggg."
Groaning and movement is her reply. Upon passing the doors (if they're not stopped by a doorman) she quickly scans the interior for any food eating area with tables and chairs. And hopefully a modicum of privacy so they can talk without using code or innuendo or whatever. It's too bothersome right now for subterfuge.
If there is a doorman/bouncer at some point, she shows her ID if requested and slowly sags more and more until she can complete her goal of 'Sit the frick down'.

Once he sees the group going inside, Silas relaxes a bit. Hopefully, his little show managed to lose some of the attention of passers-by. He's grateful that at least Thoron understood the goal of his behavior and is willing to work with it. He follows Soleil as she heads into the casino.
Mostly to continue the conversation, Silas replies to Thoron. "Sounds good to me. I'm thinking either poker or roulette. The question is simple: do you want to test your luck or your skill?"

Not wanting to admit his... distinct lack of familiarity with either, Thoron replies, "It wouldn't be much of a test, sadly. I'll see how things go with the roulette. Remember how our friend was telling us how he won big there?"
Turning his attention to Leslie, next, he asks, "I take it you'll head over to the tables, now?", then adds, "Try to enjoy your time here, alright? There'll be time to sleep when we've finished."

Each of them just gets a glance and a shrug by the people watching the door. Nobody's checking ID... so, you could probably hit them with an infraction later if it ever came down to it.
Inside, to the left, there's what Silas recognizes as poker games through an arch, whereas to the right is what looks like a bar. However drinking whatever mix of chemicals that they use for drinks is... probably not recommended. There are tables and places to sit down, though, so that's the first place that jumps out to Leslie.
There are two flights of stairs on either side of the room leading to an upper level, where it looks like it's where slot machines and other games are, though from this angle you can't see very far.

Upon entering and noticing the foody-drinky place, Leslie makes a beeline for it. And it's a real beeline. In the final leg of her journey, her own legs are protesting, or at least she makes it seem they are. Moving through the bar, she runs her hands over any empty table, chair, or booth back she can until she reaches a nice spot against a wall where she can see most everyone coming and going at the entrance. To people less intimate with her, it looked like she didn't enter in sober in any way.
She pulls out her personal datapad to look busy because she in fact is. Gotta update her blog, reply to people, check news sites, look at funny pictures.... oh, and watch the people coming and going, client and employees alike.

When they entered, Soleil didn't even notice the lack of ID checking. She pulled out her camera and started snapping pictures of the inside. It was so different from anything she had seen before! As the too-young-to-be-in-casino girl walked around she saw the stairs and grinned. She quickly went up the stairs to the upper level, preferring the elevation. Plus the elevated point would give her a better view of the layout and people present. Once she got up the stairs she moved toward a railing that would give her a good view of the lower floor and scanned the surroundings. Although she was indeed taking in the sights, her scanning had another motive. She wanted to see if she spotted anything new or telling while also seeing if she could spot the weird guy from before. Rolled in ooc thread, also just noticed never posted binding her wind sense. She would pretty much always have that bound, but better to say it somewhere written down. As for what that wind sense means for you... Well she can feel anything that gets within 8m. Though she can direct it for more precise. Let's say for now she has it shrunk down. If anyone approaches from behind her within 5m she will "feel" them. (Technically she can always feel, but we'll just have her focus/pay attention to that distance)

The lack of an ID check doesn't phase Silas either. The only reason to check would be if someone is looking for an excuse not to let you in. After all, what kind of casino would turn away someone willing to throw away money?
Silas sticks to Thoron as they enter the casino and continues to talk. "That sounds like a plan to me. Who knows? We might hit on the same string of luck he did." He leads Thoron up the stairs to slots and other games, while keeping an eye out for anyone that may be suffering from the drug's side effects.

Rather pleased that they entered without a hassle, Thoron follows Silas through the casino. In between looking for anyone who seemed to be getting really lucky with jackpots, he also tried to see where the other two quarters of his team had gone. It wouldn't do if they were surprised by the very people they were searching for. Not that an ambush was especially likely, but it was probably best to be cautious.
With a small laugh, he answers, "Yeah, wouldn't that be something? I just hope we don't blow our whole paycheck... again."

Leslie No one seems to take much notice of you, er, making your way to the wall - at least not much more than the extent of getting out of your way.
Looking around, you see a lot of people, "enjoying" (relatively speaking) a variety of flavors of food and drink. At east they've got the smells down to make it seem palatable. Maybe it might actually taste good?
"Uh, pardon me, miss." A tall male employee dressed in a nice looking dress outfit, with a tight red vest overtop comes up to you. "Were you looking for anything in particular today? If you're looking to treat yourself, we did manage to get a small supply of Oran wine in, direct from the over." Soleil Although your constant picture taking seems to attract a few glances, for the most part you're ignored as people go along with whatever business brought them in here, whether entertainment, business, or just mingling.
Out of the corner of your eye, you can just spot the guy who caught your attention disappearing into the Poker section of the lower area.
Silas and Thoron The bright lights of the slots are really distracting... although they do look rather fun. Maaaaaybe it wouldn't hurt to try just a few rounds. What do you have to lose after all? Just the money that isn't yours...
Besides, people seem to be enjoying themselves here. Well, less so the ones that have lost... but, still.
There's a lot of people here, but all of the seem too intent on either the slots, or the people that they're with. Certainly none writhing in the throes of pain.

"Bleh..." Soleil muttered with a sigh. She didn't want to go lower, higher was better. Yet the guy had caught her eye and she figured she should watch. Soleil looked over the ledge and imagined the feeling of just dropping over, but knew such a stunt would draw attention sadly. So the idea remained a simple fantasy as she headed back to the stairs and decided to head to the poker room. As she walked she started trying to move her pictures into her folders in the camera for easier sorting. trying to archive pics since realized that was important other day -_-

A little irritated by all the bright, flashing lights (they certainly didn't look very fun to him...), Thoron takes a break from searching to say, "None of these look especially interesting. In fact, I'm not sure these slots are really up his alley at all.".
After hearing Silas' response, Thoron planned to head over to the other wing. Hopefully, there were less frivolous distractions over there...

The slots do look better than others he's seen. The machines aren't greasy junk, and the patrons look better than the standard glassy-eyed addict. At the same time, Silas knows better. Every casino game is rigged in some way, and lights are just an attempt to convince people otherwise.
Perhaps checking the slots wasn't the best idea. After all, there's not a lot that precognition will help you with there, especially if you're trying to be subtle. Still, it was worth a look. Accompanying Thoron to the other wing, Silas replies. "Yeah, you're probably right. Why give the casino our money when we can win if off other people?"

Leslie stares. While generally Leslie is always staring at something, and her personal favorite is the inside of her eyelids, this is a stare directed and centered on the waiter. She looks up at the tall guy with the full intensity of someone attempting to do nothing while still actually doing things. This stare is one part annoyance on her side, and one part stalling till she can figure out what the proper course of (in)action is here.
*Auuuuugh, what do I dooo? Don't order and I look out of place. Order and I spend some extra cash, and I don't know how much. Ggrrrrrrr*
"-rrrrr'yea, I'll have a glass."
She stares down the waiter some more.

Soleil
It takes a few moments, but eventually you manage to get all of your images sorted... more or less. As you descend down the stairs, and reach the entranceway to the card area... you realize that it's really big, there's a lot of people, and you can't see the guy anymore.
Silas and Thoron
Walking across the open expanse looking over the entrance, you find yourselves in a much more lively area. Rather than people just staring at slots with an artificial feeling of energy from tall the flashing lights, there's a lot of conversation and tension around the roulette tables, craps, and others.
Leslie
"Uh, yes, of course, miss." He seems thoroughly unnerved by the staring. "Is there anything else I can get for you at this time?"

Soleil fidgets at the large amount of people. She disliked such crowded spaces. After a moment of hesitation she takes a deep breath and forces herself to make her way through the crowd looking around for the figure and also trying to spot if there was a more open less crowded area or a smaller table to play at.

Much less disturbed by the atmosphere in this room, Thoron says "This place seems much better suited to that friend of ours.", and then after a few moments of searching (ostensibly for a suitable game, but really for anyone who looked like they were exceptionally successful) asks, "Do you see any promising games? It'd be nice to show him he's not the only one who can win big."
Considering they were looking for people with Precognitive abilities, he figured the Roulette tables would be a good 'first' place to check. Especially ones with larger stakes...
