"Well, at least our first mission is going to be uniq-..." She pauses in mid thought and sentence, considering the fact that she'll likely be expected to sit or stand up most of the time, watching people diddle away their life and money as her and her team try to figure who is actually in on this drug thing.
"This is going to be bothersome, isn't iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit." Dejected, she plops the databracer on her stomach and grabs fistfuls of her hair to bury her face in. The Espurr resumes gumming some of it as well.

Silas thinks for a minute, trying to remember some of the standard casino-based scams he's heard about. He's kept away from the gambling of the Promethean district, as those places guarantee that you lose your money, no matter how lucky you are. As far as he remembers, it usually involves a winner making some new 'friends', who relieve people of their money in various ways. Silas starts to wonder aloud. "People who are winning a lot will attract attention, unless they're trying very hard to hide it. It'd be easy to mix in with a crowd of moochers. Dealers would probably approach someone looking desperate, and we have a stack of cash to lose. Then we can leave two people on support and observation."
Silas stands up and brushes a few stray spores off of his jacket. "Maybe we should come up with a plan as we gather equipment?"

"...disguise? Me? How so?" There's a pause. "And my name isn't Peter!"
"Oh, good. You're all ready to come up with a plan and arm yourself with more than just your wits? Splendid. Now just make sure I come out in one piece at the other end."In your next posts, make sure to mention the equipment you'd like to requisition.

Silas starts making his way toward the supply room, mentally preparing a list of things that could be useful on the mission. It probably wouldn't be wise to start throwing around his strongest stuff on this first mission. Who knows if there was an ongoing investigation into a spike in burn victims several years ago? Still, his colleagues might be able to benefit from having some of the simpler gases. Silas addresses the group. "Oh, by the way. You remember the gas bombs from training, right? I can make the rage and confusion ones from pretty cheap materials. We should be able to save on costs that way."
As the group walks toward the supplies, Silas gives some input into the plan. "So what sort of role do you all want for this mission? I could work with addicts and try to keep them alive, or I could do stealth takedowns of dealers."Equipment List 1x 500: Half - Chemistry Set 2x 50 : Pester Ball - Confusion 2x 50 : Pester Ball - Rage 1x 400 : Sturdy Rope - 25ft 1x 100 : Collection Jar 1x 500 : First Aid Kit 1x 1100: Medic Scrap (for Field Clinic) 3x 380 : Super Potion 1x 450 : Full Heal 1x 300 : Revive 1x 100 : Pokeball 1x 175 : Great Ball 1x 35 : Extra Gambling Money

"Ohhhhhh, nice. If we're showing off, I figured out how to make the capture devices cheaper and lighter after they showed us the schematics during training, and I can whip up some uuuuuuuh.... olfactory deterrents to clear people out of a room. I need some special stuff for all that, tiny screwdrivers and certain parts for the devices, and certain chemicals with like, a bunsen burner for the olafact-.... olfolact..... fart bombs, they're fart bombs. I can make us fart bombs." Leslie let's that last sentence hang in the air. "And I think I can make a pretty powerful taser if you let me charge it from your, what's'it called, Luxor? Electric Pokemon's bio-electricity has liiiiiike, some pretty powerful interactions. Not sure how safe it would be to haaaandle, but I wanna test it out." Holy hell, she actually wants to do a thing that isn't just doing nothing. "Sooooo, what'dya say, Thor'n?" It looks like she's trying to charm you, but all it does is make her look awkward. Also, you're pretty sure this is the most words she's ever spoken in a single go. Is she actually opening up to you all, and is that even a good thing? 2x 50 : Pester Ball: Confusion (Crafted, Silas) 2x 50 : Pester Ball: Rage (Crafted, Silas) 1x 1000 : Poke Ball Tool Box 1x 500 : Halfsies on a Chemistry Set (With Silas) 2x 100 : Repel (Crafted) 4x 100 : Poke Ball (Crafted) 1x 175 : Great Ball (Crafted) 1x 2000 : Lax Incense 4x 50 : Bean Cap 3x 100 : Glue Cap 2x 200 : Net Cap

"I can shoot people! And spot people from far away! And sensing people even when out of sight!" Soleil added when she realized people were telling what they do. "Oh! And I'm really good at smiling! And I'm apparently adorable! I'm also a Scorpio. I like taking pictures of new places. And exploring is fun." Soleil said as she tried to cover all her bases. "And now I got a little nom nom monster now who can bite trouble makers!" She said hugging the Trapinch she was still holding in her arms for now like a plushie. When they were getting ready to leave she would recall the cuddly little guy, but for now she didn't see any harm. ----- Whenever they actually arrive at the supply area, Soleil would get excited running and taking pictures of things and poking at all the weird stuff. She grabbed a cool pair of sunglasses and tried them on looking in a mirror and posing to see if she looked cool. Giggling at how she looked she would put that in her bag to get. Then she found a nice pair of boots that would help her move quicker. Since she wasn't skilled at unarmed combat, being able to stay at a distance was important and she grabbed those. Next she decided to try and buy some parts to see if the weird girl would show her how she did the pokeball things. She didn't actually care all that much about pokeballs, but she figured she would need them for the mission and watching something cool like them being built sounded fun. Then she figured it they were going to be catching people to question some rope would be good. Finally, with nothing else to do and figuring the money wasn't hers, might as well spend it, she decided to buy some potions. 1x 2000: Running shoes 1x 2000: Sunglasses 4x 100: PokeBall (Crafted, Leslie) (Or if Leslie hates Soleil then she has 400 poke worth of pokeball scraps ) 1x 200: Utility Rope 2x 200: Potion

" If you think a taser would help, feel free to use my Luxio, Kincaid. Just don't hurt yourself.", 'Thor'n' replied. He was pretty keen on the idea of getting more use out of his Pokemon, anyways. Not to mention that if it got a teammate (this teammate in particular) contributing, it was well worth it. He wasn't sure how to describe himself in a more tactful way than "I'm a born leader, and a genius to boot," but it didn't take a genius to know that would be poor form. He settled for a slightly more modest, " I can help you and your Pokemon fight more effectively, providing extra support, to give us an edge in combat," he explained, " Outside of fighting, I can also... 'spot people'. It might not help for this mission, but I'm also something of an expert on Pokemon." Thinking of what role he could fill in the mission itself, he says, " If its for the sake of drawing out a dealer, I can put on a show in the casino." At the supply area, Thoron asks his teammates (giving the appropriate funds) if they could make some more Pokeballs and suppressants, then sets about getting some other helpful gear. 3x100, Pokeballs/Basic Balls 2x175, Great Balls 1x50, Pesterball (Confusion) 1x50, Pesterball (Rage) 1x400, +25 feet of Sturdy Rope 2x100, Repel 1x200, Potion 2x200, Antidote, Burn Heal 1x500, Caltrops 1x2000, Sunglasses

"My my, aren't we a spiffy looking bunch." Omega comments dryly. "Anyways... Is there anything further you want from me - any questions answered, instruction you want me to follow, and so forth - before you decide who carries the databracer, and I have to go into Silent Mode?"

Thoron was tempted to deliver another retort to Peter, but... better to at least try and get along with their assistant and coordinator. It would be below his station to bicker aimlessly, right? At any rate, he didn't have any more questions about the mission. And since he didn't plan on being anywhere near the AI, it didn't matter to him what Peter did. "No, nothing further, Omega."

"Are there anyyyyyyy like, known gangs or whatever, in what's that district.... Blubberbutt? It might be smart to check the like, usual suspectsssss."
Does indeed fiddle with the chem set and poke ball tools for anyone that asks, it looks like she actually, gasp, enjoys doing so. Or maybe she just has gas. She's a little hard to read, this one.

Soleil eagerly crowds around the weird girl when she makes the crafting curious how everything works. "What's that do?" She asks anytime Leslie picks up something new to work on.

Soleil must be a witch, because those seem to be the magic words to get her to talk. Leslie actually explains, at least in some language someone might understand, what she's doing as she goes. It's a lot of big words, and tiny, hard words.... but they're words! What she seems to be getting across is that by swapping out to some lighter materials and soldering instead of screwing certain parts, she's dropping the weight and overall cost of the supplies. However, there's a reason the higher ups don't utilize this design; extended containment of a Pokemon is dangerous, as this schematic forgoes a few redundant safety features. It'll be safe to hold them for a couple weeks or so, definitely long enough to capture and hand over, but they'll need to be transferred to a stronger Ball by, well, whomever actually oversees these creatures after they get turned in.
The fart bombs are stink sprays, and whenever asked what each chemical and step is for, she only answers "It's for the stink." And then she giggles, every time.

"Known gangs? No. That's one reason this is more unusual than normal. And it's Butterfly."
After changing into your plainclothes, and getting the last remnants of up your equipment and - more importantly - spending funds, you get a series of directions to the Casino from Omega. They seem a bit more complicated than they have any right to be, but he insists it's the way.
Anyways, convoluted directions notwithstanding, you make your way down towards the Butterfly District. Upon getting there, your clothes that got you stares in other Districts, suddenly seem to fit in fairly well...
Several hours after leaving the Technician Hub , you finally make it to outside the Casino Chrysalis. It's a tall place, stretching floor to ceiling, with bright neon lights, a lot of gold covering... and a varieties of smells. Some recognizable, others... not so much. There's sure a lot of people around...

Giving the place an appraising look, Thoron states (quietly enough that only someone really paying attention should be able to overhear), "The Casino Chrysalis definitely knows how to look opulent... Makes you wonder just how much they're losing, if it's such a serious issue for them.". He hoped they were given enough funds to lose convincingly, at any rate...
"Alright, are we splitting up, then?", he asks afterwards.

Silas is properly impressed with the Butterfly District. They have quite the masquerade going on, but he suspects that an observant person would notice the inevitable cracks in the facade. Of course, his very presence in the district is a sign that it's not as perfect as advertised. Still, Silas can't stop himself from looking around, with only the slightest attempt at subtlety. Even this display of opulence is beyond anything he's seen. After looking around a bit, Silas registers Thoron's question and replies, speaking to the whole group. "We'll want to stay in sight of each other, at least. What if the Thoron and I mingle with the crowds together, then Soleil and Leslie watch our backs and try to spot suspicious things?"Silas, looking for things that aren't as glamorous as the place would like.

"Are we there yet?" "I'm tired." "My feet hurt." "I'm tired." "My feet hurt." "I'm tired." "Are we there yet?"
These and other remarks were mumbled and groaned on their arduous trek. The 'Over' garments picked out for her was a knee length baby blue halter-topped dress with a pair of short heeled sandals. Because light reflecting off her bare skin can be blinding, it was decided to finish her ensemble with a deep yellow shawl with a faint floral pattern and a set of gold colored bracelets and necklace. All in all she's looks like a bright sunny day, that just so happens to be enveloping a disheveled and gloomy pale night.
"Maybeeeeeee we should just, look around first before really splitting up. Assssss.... assess, we should assess the, whatever. In a spot where I can sit or lay down."

"Everyone smile for a picture!" Soleil says quickly pulling out a camera and snapping a picture of everyone in the district. Despite her comment to smile she didn't bother waiting and took the picture as soon as done speaking. "Beats me. I can spot people sure." Soleil said. Perception: ypKx0l3p4d6+2

As you're all standing around talking in front of the Casino, you all seem to be attracting a little bit of notice by all the people actually entering. Especially Soleil taking all of her pictures. It doesn't seem like a lot of people are actually stopping to take in any of the spectacle. Thoron wanted very much to glare at any inquisitive passers-by, but... he had to admit, they did stand out a bit. For the sake of not remaining conspicuous, he says, " Fine, if we're not splitting up yet, lets keep walking. We'll find somewhere we can talk at our leisure." As they head off somewhere slightly more private, or at least less open, he also looks around for anyone that stands out as being especially successful. They probably wouldn't stand out very well here, of all places, but having a few suspects to tail could be helpful. Rolling Perception to notice any extremely wealthy persons. Especially if they're displaying it (more) brazenly than the rest of the patrons. CKGLGTTe4d6+3 4d6+3

"Hmm?" Soleil says distracted looking toward the crowds. Her eyes seemed to be focused in one area as if she noticed something. "Oh sure...lead the way." She said walking with the group.
"You know though a group of us could be weird if we split up later. People see us entering as a group but only some gamble and some just watch? Might be weird." She mumbled as if still distracted.
