Cora continues on with Rotech, keeping to the shadows as much as she can. Seeing as they only had a vague idea of an area so far, there was no reason to scout ahead. Lena floated next to her, staying visible for the time being. Rolled 5 on Perception check.

Rotech/Cora Cora seemed lost as she walked across the broken down roads and alleyways. She seemed more or less focused on following Rotech. Rotech on the other hand has a good idea on how to get to the docks, and takes a few shortcuts. About ten minutes have passed, and you reach Brooks, a fair away from the dead end where the others were going to meet the middle-man. On the other side was a chain-link fence about ten feet high, with some wire on the top. You can't quite make out what's on the other side of the fence. As you were about to approach the street, you stop just as you two more thugs walking down the sidewalk. They appeared to be more or less bulky like the fat-man from earlier, but they had more muscles than fat. "Urgh I hate the rainy season, it makes my nose all runny." One of the thugs complained in a congested voice, before reaching for his handkerchief and blowing his nose. The other clearly looked annoyed and unamused. "This is why you take your meds before the shift, dumbass." The other said before spitting into a puddle of water, placing his hands in his pocket. The two continued their pointless conversation as they reached the gate-booth. The two thugs stopped at the gate, and appeared to be engaging in conversation.
You have two opportunities for entrance.
You could try and climb the fence You could try and sneak your way pass the booth.
Or you could roll Perception to look for another way in.

Rotech looked around and saw the two of them talking to each other, he held a hand up to his mouth for Cora to know not to say anything, and motioned for her to wait.
Rotech looked about the street, and the ally that he was looking at the other two thugs from attempting to see if he could see any security cameras, Innocuous electrical devices like leftover and rundown washing machines, or even a discarded tv on the side of the road.

Rotech
You check down the street, and see that there is a worn CCTV camera. Given what you know, it seems the camera has been disabled. Around the side of the store that has the camera, there is a bin with some tubes and wires sticking out. Likely its has broken and/or old electronics for you to play around with.

Looking at them, Rotech started to formulate a plan with what to do with the Camera and the other wires and tubes sticking about. With a bit of an idea in his head he grabbed the camera, and went to work on the different sort of parts and tubes in the bin. With a bit of finageling he started creating something out of the wires. Attaching to the end of them the directly into the camera. Then soldering the other pieces of scrap together to attach the different wires together.
He looked at the camera hooked up to the wires and then tied the entire thing to a metal spike with the innards of the wires attached to them.
Hopefully this would give him the ability to see whatever Rotom sees when he stabs it into the power supply of a building, the entire thing making a circuit and the camera acting as an interface for the two of them.
"Here static, let's try this out real quick" he said, placing one end into a nearby building's power generator. Then pointing for Static to try and get in.

Siren nodded in assent as Rotech detailed his plan. "Sounds good to me." If she couldn't sweet-talk information out of the guard, maybe Zenith could scare it out... or the two of them could pound him flat before he raised an alarm. They certainly weren't exactly the best set up for sneaking, anyway. She cocked her head curiously when Cora asked about the middleman. "Sure, I'll get a picture of him for you. I'm a little curious about this guy, too." Belatedly, she remembered Cora had said she didn't have a phone... well, she could just show the picture to her afterward. She moved quite gracefully, but wound up more or less skipping to keep up with Zenith. Not a surprise when the man stood head and shoulders above her. She didn't know where he'd managed to get enough fabric together for that suit. "All right, let's get going." Though she had to admit that she wasn't sure how to get to the gate their captured informant had talked about from here. All these alleys looked the same, and she didn't usually have to navigate such things. Perception: ... 3.

Rotech Static managed to integrate with the make-shift circuitry with no problems. For the moment, everything seems to be going fine, and the Camera becomes active once more. With the camera as the interface, Static scanned what was over the fence, and you managed to see what it saw. After a few seconds, you noticed that there is a rather fancy looking boat near once of the warehouses, not far from your location. Nearby was some semblance of movement of activity. But before you could get a better look, you hear the sound of the camera exploding. Shards of material and circuity go flying along with sparks. Static gets thrown out of the circuit. The power-supply also produced loud sparks, but remained functioning. For whatever reason, the camera couldn't handle the make-shift circuit. A few moments later, you hear the sound of voices coming closer.
"-The big deal is, its just probably a zigzagoon or somethings." "Zigzagoons don't explode cameras, you idiot."
It seemed you had draw the attention of the two thugs.
Static takes 12 points of Special-Type Electric Damage.
Rotech must make a stealth roll.
Thug one has a cold, so he isn't thinking straight. His perception is 2 Thug two is alert, but is more concerned with checking the camera's surroundings, his perception is 6
For partial success on this, you need to beat the two. Full success requires a six.
Zenith/Siren
As befitting some of her status, Siren isn't the type to know the streets layout, especially once she was away from the main streets in Alburna. Zenith knows the way to Browns, but he had to take it slow to make sure Siren didn't get lost. As a result, by the time the two of you got to the dead-end, the middle-man was already there. His arms were crossed, his foot tapping against the ground. From what you could tell, he was wearing a full robe that covered his head. His face was also covered with something that looked like a mask, but you can't quite make out the details. It seemed he was paying attention to what was ahead of him, as opposed to his sides. Zenith can make out the figure of a pokemon, it was cat-like in nature with something shiny on its head.
"Those three were supposed to be here five minutes ago..." He simply said, staring down he road. "I better report this, we can't let anything happen tonight."
With that, the middle-man simply turned around and began to the empty booth.
Zenith and Siren are about five meters away from the middle man and his pokemon, he doesn't seem to notice you. You are currently looking at him from the side
Approach however you want.

With the explosion in his face Rotech's gauntlet took a shock him, and cause Static to create the even louder sounds as he was shot out of the makeshift circuitry.
The explosion clearly in his face, he grabbed Static as he flew out of the circuit. He tried to stifle his voice as he caught Static preventing him from hitting the wall hard, but he still released a somewhat loud grunt in response to Static being shot out of the ciruitry.
He chuckled, and said "Sorry about that Cora, I shouldn't have tried to make that out of garbage"

When the man told Jojo the information he asks of, he nods appreciatively. "Thank you, that information is helpful." Turning around, Jojo saw the others have also heard the news. Not needing him to explain what he was told, Jojo listens to the rest of the group's discussion about the best course of action.
"I don't mind staying with them." Jojo nods affirmatively, agreeing to the idea. Though he would like to go help rescue the Pokémon and stop the evil doers, his first priority is the safety of the mother and daughter. After all, there are three, no four others who will be working together in his stead. Besides, once he is sure the mother and child is safe, Jojo could rush over.
Jojo walks over to inform the two lades that he'll be around longer, for their safety and waiting for the police.

Zenith reluctantly took his time a little getting Siren to their destination, an expression of annoyed patience on his face, though he would never have acted on it. Luckily however, their quarry hadn't left yet. The man looked a little strange for a gang member. Was he even a gang member? Could he be a hired outsider? I suppose that would still make him hired muscle. Whatever he was, he unsettled Zenith. He was sure the man could be dangerous. Then he talked about reporting that the three gangsters didn't show up. That would mean he was leaving. We can't let him do that, Zenith thought. With nothing but that in mind, he released Magna into the street. "Use Rock Blast on the cat!" he told his partner. He then turned to his other partner in this endeavor. "Siren, I'm going to hit him before he can leave. Please back me up."With that said, Zenith threw himself forward, dashing straight towards the robed middle-man ready to punch him into the wall of the dead-end. Acting a little slower than his master, Magna materialized an orb of rock from thin air and shot it at the middle-man's cat. So sorry masked man, Zenith thought, but I'm happening tonight!
Zenith: Free Action before the battle: Release Magna. Shift Action: Close the 5 meters of distance. Standard Action: Use Strength. Free Action: Push Maneuver. Attempting to push the middle-man into a wall with 2 Overland remaining.
Magna: Standard Action: Rock Blast

Rotech "Did you hear that? Sounds like someone is heres!" Said one of them, as he began to walk towards the source of Static's Cry. "I told you, its a Zigzagoon, we shouldn't waste time when da boss is expecting us." The other said, before blowing his nose loudly into the handkerchief. You can faintly hear him complaining about his runny nose. "But, he-I mean-Fine, but we need to let them know about this... I got a bad feeling in my pits." He said, before the two of them pass your location, but luckily they seemed more focused on getting to the warehouse than searching for you. After a minute or two you don't hear anything from them, it seems that they had moved on ahead. Jojo The two seem grateful that you choose to stick around. About fifteen minutes later, you hear the sound of a car coming down the quiet street. The car looked like it had seen better days. The edges were cragged and covered in rust, while the paint-job looked worn and scratched. You can faintly make out the four letters on the hood of the car, 'ECPD'. After stopping, two men pulled out of the car. The first man looked young, almost too young to be part of the police. He was clean-shaven and well-kept, his short black hair was combed neatly underneath his hat. His uniform was tucked in and free of any lint or stains. He took one look at you and stood to attention, raising his hand to his head. "Good evening Sir, we got a call about an attempted mugging on 8th and Willows, could you point us t-" The young man started to say, before he was interrupted by the other man. "Its over here Greg, don't bother the her-wait a minute." The other man said. 'Opposites attract' doesn't even begin to describe the two. The other man looked much, much older, at least in his late forties. His hair was all over the place and his face was covered in a five-o-clock shadow. In his hand was a cup of cheap, convenience store coffee. His uniform looked worn, with creases scattered across. The major difference was that the older man had a brown trenchcoat over his uniform, colored a darker shade from the rain. "You don't look like a Hall's Hero... Last thing we need is vigilantes." He muttered as took a sip of his coffee. "But sir, didn't you say we were running ragged? I think its wonderful that peo-" "Greg, not now! And my name isn't sir, its Marcus!" The two's banter gave you a small idea of how things were starting to get a little too much for the police force. "Sorry, regardless of your affiliation, thank you for your help. We'll take these three down to the station for questioning." Marcus said with a small, weary smile as his partner began to put hand-cuffs on all three. Zenith As you throw your punch at the middle-man, he simply leans his body back, avoid the blow with an uncanny dodge. He didn't see you, but yet how did he managed to dodge you? As you push the man to the wall, he didn't even offer any resistance, an allowed himself to be pressed against the wall. His pokemon attempted to react. Unfortunately, it got hit by the Dweeble's Rock Blast. The first blast dazed it, the second blast knocked it off balanced, the third simply sent it flying into the fence. It tried to get back up with a pained cry, but fainted shortly after. On a closer look you can clearly make out the details of the man's mask. It was a unnerving mixture of purple and black, swirling around like a vortex. The more you looked, the more you felt like you were being sucked in. The man's body language was strange, you couldn't tell what sort of reaction he was having. He almost appeared to be emotionless, as he turned his head upwards towards you. You start seeing two round spots glow from underneath the mask, where his eyes were supposed to be. "nalkruska lat ukleep, avhe firukav ukhall greeav lat." The man spoke, his words twisted and black. His voice sounded... inhuman before you find the call of sleep... appealing. The man also looked at your Dweeble, and he too found the idea of sleep appealing. Middle-man used Hypnosis on Zenith and Dweeble, but rolled a 3 on both...

Zenith hadn't expected his punch to get dodged, especially since the man shouldn't have seen him coming. It seemed this man really was dangerous. Looking into the man's weird mask that seemed to draw him in, Zenith almost expected a strange attack and was proven right. He could feel himself losing the will to stay awake. No, Zenith thought, and quickly gained control of his faculties again. Magna similarly resisted the attempt to put him to sleep. Mentally, Zenith increased the man's threat level. If he could be put to sleep, that was game over, unless he woke up quickly enough. Who knew what the man would do to him. Zenith's eyes narrowed. He would have to deal with this man quickly. From his position beside the man, Zenith attempted to ram into the man, a risky maneuver that left a lot of room for dodging. Zenith's other option was to try and grapple with the man, but he had a strange feeling that prolonged physical contact would make it easier for the man to put him under a spell. Perhaps he was just paranoid, but he didn't want to go down that route just yet. "Magna, get him with Fury Cutter!" The Dwebble skittered over to the man and prepared to slash at whatever limb he could reach. There was a chance that the combined assault would knock the man out, but that was really the best case scenario. Zenith would then have enough time to tie the man up, perhaps his hands and legs at least with some bandages if Zenith couldn't find any rope. Then he could apply a revive and bring the man back to consciousness in order to interrogate him. Zenith: Standard Action: Slam on middle-man.
Magna: Standard Action: Fury Cutter on middle-man.

Well. Siren had been planning to try to sweet-talk the guy, but there was no time if they wanted to stop him raising the alarm. Besides, that look just screamed 'cultist' or something, could be he was too fanatical to persuade. Following Zenith's lead, she called Reggae back out. "I'll try to put him down gently. If it doesn't work, hit him with a Metal Claw." Reggae gave an affirmative little growl as they both stepped in closer and Siren started to sing. Instead of the eerie, screeching whalesong noise, this was a soft, subdued lullaby that might just give the middle-man a taste of his own medicine... but with power in it that she hoped would help Zenith resist whatever the goon's nonsense words were doing. "Deep greens and blues are the colors I choose, won't you let me go down in my dreams..."When it didn't look likely that the middleman was going to drop, Reggae swerved to try and flank him, his claws glinting in the light as they slashed at where his legs ought to be beneath the robe. Siren's Sing: Burst 2, Friendly; 9 vs AC 10. (so close!) On miss, targets are Slowed and take -2 to Evasion until the end of Siren's next turn. 1 AP to play the Song of Courage: allies in the song's area get +2 to Skill Checks and Save Checks until the end of Siren's next turn.
Reggae's Metal Claw: 5 vs AC 3; 28 Physical Steel-type damage

Zenith As soon as you made contact with the middle-man, a vision appears before your eyes. It appears too fast for you to fully understand, but you do managed to pick up a few things. A pit of darkness, a symbol with an eye and a slash... A claw far larger than you as it crashes down. Zenith has received an omen, he takes -2 Accuracy for the remainder of the battle. Middle-man. Despite being hit by two very solid attacks, he took the hits in stride. He simply absorbed the blows before standing right back up, his left leg wobbling a bit. It seems you did a number on him, but he was going to get off another attack. "Insolence..." He hissed, before grabbing both of Zenith's wrists. As soon as he clamped down on them, you feel an intense burning sensation as his hands glow with a small tint of red. Luckily, he was soon distracted by the Siren's Song, causing him to let go of Zenith. He simply stared in befuddlement before feeling a sharp, metallic claw hit the freshly made wound by the Dweeble. His leg gave out on him, as he collapsed onto his knee. "drutimer noav avhe darkneukuk ro deaavh, avhe firukav liwo riuke. " He said, in the same rough, black tongue. He stared up and awaited the final blow. Middle-man used Will-o-wisp, but missed with another 3.
Also, forgot to mention, roll occult to see what the hell he's talking about.

With a quiet nod, Rotech saw that they were going on ahead, He looked at Cora, "Mind following them?"
"Take static along, and send him back this way when they reach their destination, and I'll contact the others that we found the place. If your fine with that?" Rortech Suggested.

Zenith winced a little as the vision he saw came to an end. What was that? he wondered. The vision had shaken Zenith a little. He wasn't given much time to think about it however, as Zenith involuntarily hissed himself, as he felt his wrists begin to heat up painfully. When Siren distracted the middle-man, Zenith couldn't help but release a sigh of relief. He quickly became focused again, shedding fear and worry, although he remained wary and cautious, the memory of the vision still strong within his mind. Quickly, he pulled his right arm for a text book punch- but then he lowered his arm again. There's no reason to knock this man out. This battle is over, Zenith thought. Zenith decided to give this man a chance, even if he didn't deserve it. He could talk, or he could get knocked out. "Magna, get ready to use Fury Cutter," he whispered to his Pokemon. The Dwebble nodded, his claws already glowing slightly with energy. If he hit the middle-man, it was sure to hurt. To the man however, he said, "I'm giving you one chance. Tell us about Finnigan and the operation. No funny business." Zenith's Standard Action: Command Check to get the man to talk about Finnigan and the whole operation.
Magna's Standard Action: Fury Cutter if middle-man attacks.

Siren hung back as Zenith paused to at least try to question him. Unless the middleman was a lot less hurt than he looked, there wasn't much danger of raising the alarm, she didn't think. But she still wanted to be ready in case he tried anything funny; the gem in her circlet glowed again as she readied herself for an attack. Meanwhile, she puzzled over the bizarre language he was speaking. What was that? Occult Education roll: 10!

Siren You can't quite make out what he was saying, and it seems to make your head ache the more you think about it. However, you can guess what some of the words mean. "darkneukuk" is likely Darkness "deaavh" is more or less Death. Its very likely he does belong to some cult, but more research is needed. Zenith For the first time since this encounter, he laughs. His laughter however is spiteful and vindictive, but for some reason you don't think he's laughing at you. "The fool, Finnigan think he's invincible. This whole operation of his is a joke, a show of pointless defiance to the Hall of Heroes. I hold no loyalty to the fool, this whole operation is preparation for something bolder. And the more you waste time with me, the more he'll prepare. He explained, before reaching his mask. "Tell him... The First will collect soon." He uttered, before his hand glowed in a strange, dark energy. After a few moments, he collapsed onto the ground... but all that remained was his cloak and his mask, there was no body to be found. Middle-Man used " " You get 4 pokemon xp and 2 Trainer xp

"... Okay, what the heck." Siren stared incredulously at the cloak slumped on the ground where their target had been. In fact, she leaned down and poked at the cloak warily. "Our friend in the alley said they had weird powers, he didn't say they were insane. I'm beginning to, uh, question my conclusions here."She glanced around warily, pausing for a moment as if she expected that final glow of energy before the man vanished to come out of nowhere and injure her somehow. She's not quite sure whether it was intended as an attack. Finally, though, her gaze settled on the doorway the man ha been standing in front of. "Let's check in the booth there, see if we can find anything useful..."Barring objections from Zenith, she ducked through the door and started to look around the booth. Intuition (was the glowy thing an attack?): 8 Perception (what's in the booth?): 9

During the wait, Jojo tries making some small talk or performances, all to get the two's mind off of the criminals and of what happened earlie. Even if it's for a second. He had thought about recalling Emily, but decided maybe the girl would like to place with her. If the little girl did so, Emily happily responded.
When the police finally came, Jojo smiles and salute the two. "Evening officers! Sorry for the vigilantism, but I couldn't just stand by when these crooks are threatening these two ladies." He shook his head in displeasure. Jojo then gestures the police to lend their ear, and takes them police side. "One had held a gun to the child's head." He whispers, mostly to spare the two victims from remembering it. "Of course I did my best within the law, Mr. Marcus." Jojo nods at the older officer, who seems like he is showing the younger lad the ropes. Either that, or the police's forces are stretched too thin. This is especially so with the small banter he just heard, which is frightening news.
