Cora, slightly annoyed at the girl pushing away her blade, sheaths it. That information on Finnigan was...interesting to say the least though. "Is this Finnigan you speak of Mr. Leroy Finnigan?" She asks, trying to appease the man. Normally she would be quite annoyed at his comment that her beautiful dress was from a costume shop. A voice in her head whispered, Stab him. You have the blade, why not use it? Someone of his filth positing such a wild theory? Teach him a lesson. It was a good thing that after many nights of training Cora learned to ignore the impulses she got after using more...ghostly techniques. Like Lena, they fed off the negativity she released. Right now, though, she couldn't retort. That certainly wouldn't help her gain any information. While she didn't anticipate her night going this way, nor did she anticipate needing trousers or a shorter skirt, she couldn't just sit here doing nothing. She would stick to the shadows and go to the docks to investigate herself. If the street thugs that were there wanted to pick a fight, fine, but that wasn't her intention. She would sneak in and sneak out, silent as a ghost. 10 on Charm check.

The mook simply looked up at Cora, his eyes sole focused on her.
"That's who his claims to be. Never asked him myselfs, and it didn't affect me a bit. His money is... well, his money was good." He said, taking one last puff before flicking the half-finished cigarette into a puddle of water. Of course, his focused was broken when Rotech applied the last of the disinfected roughly into his wounds. A loud grunt of pain was heard through his teeth, before he slumped a little further down the wall. A low murmer could be heard, mostly complaining about Rotech. When the blue-haired woman asked if where he was going to meet the middle man, he thought about it for a moment.
"There's a gate we use, near the dead-end on Brooks. The idiot who guards the gate there likes his breaks, so we plan our meeting times around them. He'll be expecting us in 20." He explained calmly as he finally managed to push himself off the wall and stand up. He considered making a break for it, but the all-too soon sensation of being slammed by Zenith made him stay.
"Well you got your information, you should probably head out soons."

The mother leans into Jojo's shoulder, and remains quiet and motionless for a moment. You could tell she was taking some deep breaths. After about half a minutes, she pulls away. With a more calm, collected look on her face she simply placed a hand on her daughter's shoulder. The pair easily looked better, now that the danger had passed. The girl had some tears in her eyes, but it was clear she was a bit collected. Like mother like daughter. "No, no thank you. We'll make the call to the police and..." She began to saw her daughter giggle at the sight of the man's mustache wiggling about. "I think we'll just stay and explain things to them, least we can do for all the help you gave up. Thank you, for everything." She said, smiling at Jojo before she reached down to take the girl's hand. With some reassurance, the pair began to head back to the street.

With that Rotech nodded as they left, Sounds like they're done over there to.
He said loud enough for the group to hear, "Alright? Then, drop these guys at the police station, and then go to the docks together? There's strength in numbers. "

Loren glanced down at their 'informant', then over at his unconscious companions, tapping her lip thoughtfully. "Well, I'm certainly happy to join you. I have a few ideas about who's backing Finnigan. Shall we escort them to the station, or wait for the police to turn up here? I think the lady said she'd call them, and I want to make it to this drop-off point as fast as we can."
She recalled Reggae offhandedly, not wanting to make him try to keep up. Totodile are only really fast over short distances.

If the man was who he said he was, perhaps this Mr. Finnigan had her condition? While he was scum, Cora needed all the information she could have on what she is. Perhaps he knew something? The prospect excited her to no end.
She started to leave, but thought better of it. Cora stepped back and faced the group. They were louder and tackier than she'd like, but she didn't like her prospects going into this alone. She curtsied, and even Lena bowed her head.
"Excuse me Sirs and Miss, but would you mind if I accompanied you all? My name is Miss Cora von Fiore, and I'd like to have a chat with Mr. Leroy Finnigan, or his associates. This middleman fellow could also prove to be useful. I'm quite quiet, so I could scout ahead for you all." Cora asks politely.

Rotech shook his head in disagreement, "I think we should drop them off anyways."
"If you look at these guys, they're drenched. They've probably been waiting here to meet up with someone." He looked over at the man with a raised eyebrow.
Rotech shrugged, "Though I'll admit that might be me being a bit cautious. Though I'd be more comfortable if we made sure we got there in case they do have some other ally coming to help them you know? "
He added, "And sure If you feel like coming, help is always appreciated."

Zenith listened attentively. He was a little disturbed by how scared the man seemed to be of him, no one had been this scared of him before, but he didn't let that affect him. So this Finnigan guy was behind a larger operation to steal and otherwise acquire Pokemon? Zenith's eyes narrowed, not that anyone could see. Breaking the sacred bonds between a person and their Pokemon was atrocious. I'm not going to stand for that happening. We will see those Pokemon returned. Then Zenith realised he'd used 'we' while he was thinking. I suppose as far as a superhero team goes, this one wouldn't be too shabby. I'm sure they're just as eager to take down the operation as I am, so surely they wouldn't be opposed to working together.
To the gangster he said, "Thank you for the information. Consider quitting your life of crime and become an upstanding citizen once more." He may be a criminal, but it seems he was risking his life to tell them this information. That deserved some merit.
Now that he had time to observe his comrades, he finally recognized some of them. Jojo and Siren were new and upcoming heroes which were already on the way to becoming well-known. Zenith nodded at Rotech, when he gave the group a questioning look. He could guess what the fellow new hero was asking, or not-asking in this case. Although Rotech seemed to be just as new as he was, this wasn't a mark against him by any means. The hero had taken a gunshot to protect the lady and her child after all.
Speaking of which, even though Jojo and now even Rotech were already talking to them, Zenith was overcome with the urge to check up on them himself. He didn't want to overwhelm them, but he needed to be sure they were ok. So he walked over to them, but it seemed they were already done conversing with Jojo and Rotech. Not wanting to remind them further of what had happened, Zenith relented and allowed them to go about their business.
He couldn't help but stay worried however. From what his father had told him about crime victims, shock and fear were normal after being robbed. In this case the robbery was prevented, so perhaps the two wouldn't feel the after effects, such as being nervous to go out into public places. Rotech and Jojo's offer to accompany the ladies would hopefully help prevent that from happening.
His smile widened at Jojo's antics. He was pretty good with families. Perhaps it came from experience? Or perhaps he was just kind and compassionate enough to play the part of the fool.
There was a bunch of conversation for which he was mostly silent, but then Rotech began arguing for the group to drop off the men at the police station.
"While I would normally agree with you, I think in this case we don't have time to take the gangsters to the station. From what I understand, we only have twenty minutes left until the meeting starts, so if we want to tail the middle man to the location, we should start moving. Also, I think those ladies need a little closure after what happened. I don't want to take that away from them."
To the lady who'd joined them at the last minute of the fight, Zenith added, "Feel free to come with us."

Rotech sighed, "So if someone comes to get let these guys go after we leave and cause one of us wasn't here to stop them and they escape, they'll get their closure? Or what if the middle man sends some people to come looking for these guys if they don't show. Waiting here for the ladies to bring the police is fine. Letting them see these guys get taken in is fine to, but leaving some poor women to watch criminals that were just threatening them while they wait for the police doesn't exactly sit well with me."
"Though time is of the essence" Rotech relented, "I'd just rather not let these guys get away with it if we can help it."
"I'll hang back give the info to the police, and catch up. It's a stealth mission, and adimtedly I'm not stealthy, the gear makes a lot of sound." Rotech suggested.
"One moment." he ran off, and found the nearest payphone, wrote down the number and then rushed back.
He handed it to Zenith, "Call that number, It's the nearby payphone when you find the hideout. I'll meet up with you guys there."
"Sound like a good plan?" he asked.

Loren broke in around this point, crossing her arms. "They could be wet because they were waiting for somebody to jump. As many Pokémon as these guys and their buddies have been kidnapping, I wouldn't be surprised if it took a while to find somebody with a one around to steal." She glanced down the alley toward the woman and her daughter. "... You're right about leaving them alone with the crooks, though."
She looked a little dismayed when Rotech referred to the whole undertaking as a 'stealth mission', though. She'd been fully intending to let Miss Cora von Snootyname handle the stealthy parts and then just go in, metaphorical guns blazing. "Think you can catch up in time? If we have to stop the shipment we might not be able to wait around for you."

"You're right," Zenith said. "I didn't consider that." And when he said 'that' he meant almost the entirety of what Rotech had said. He hadn't considered that watching the criminals wouldn't be such a nice thing for a woman and her child and that leaving them alone with gangster in general wasn't a good idea. Not everyone thinks like me, Zenith reminded himself. The compromise Rotech was offering though sounded perfect, although Zenith was wondering whether he shouldn't stay too. He had nothing to offer on a stealth mission, except distract and punch people. Still even if he didn't think he had anything to offer, it was unlikely that he would compromise the mission, and he could always rely on someone else to be stealthy. After tailing the man, all that was left was to break up the operation and Zenith wouldn't need stealth to do that. He hoped.
Siren also made a good point. There were multiple possible reasons for why the crooks were so wet, but it didn't hurt to be cautious.
Zenith looked at the number he'd been given, and put the note in a pocket on his coat. "Alright, if you're sure, that sounds like a fine plan," Zenith said. Then he added, "At least, I can't think of a better alternative."

"At this moment, we have several plans of attack. It seems as though several of you want to stay here, yes? Perhaps we should split up then?" Cora looks around, judging the groups' reactions to this idea.
"There are several options we have for this endeavor. Two or three of us could go to talk to this middle-man and see what information we get out of him. Miss...Siren was it? Could talk to the man while I scout the area or guard the exit in case of escape. Alternatively, only one of us goes to talk to the man, and the other two of us go to search for the warehouse? Another option would be to follow him there, but if he, for some reason, decides not to go to the warehouse, we would miss the shipment. We could also just go to search for the warehouse. In this case, I could scout out the area and clear a path for you all to come in. I doubt the guards would be able to hear me coming. If there any other ideas, please do speak up."

Rotech was seeing the logistics of this whole situation falling apart in front of his eyes. He could see so many problems with trying to meet up after separating. Divide an conquer, if they split up, and didn't meet back up this 'Name in progress' could fall apart already.
He said aloud, "With these guys like this, One of us is probably fine to just watch them. With splitting up, if the middle man has some muscle with him sending only one person to talk to him doesn't seem like a good idea."
"If you guys are willing to trust each other," Rotech suggested, "We could trade phone numbers, and split up two people to go talk to the middle man, one person to stay here, and two people to search the docks for the place where they're shipping out the pokemon."
He pulled his phone out, "Then when we find it, we call each other and meet up."
"Though understand guys, if we trade phone numbers. If we trade contact information, unless you've got a burner phone, we're give each other our secret identities." he said, "because trying to split up won't be time effective if we can't quickly contact each other. Are you willing to trust each other with that info."
He scratched his head, "I'm fine with it, but we are wearing masks for a reason you know?"

Zenith didn't think very long before reaching a decision. If this was what it took in order to rescue the stolen Pokemon, he would gladly reveal his own identity to a few fellow heroes. He had originally created his identity because he didn't want his parents knowing their son had become a vigilante in order to find his sister. They would surely call in the therapists again and no one wanted that. There was of course the cliche reason of wanting to protect his loved ones from possible retaliation by criminals. His father may be a police officer but that didn't mean he needed to become a target. Luckily, Rotech's plan didn't require he unmask or anything, and something of an unspoken gentleman's - and lady's - agreement would likely stop anyone from actually using the phone number to look up their information.
"I will trust you with my phone number," Zenith said.

Glad the mother and daughter pair is feeling much better, Jojo lets out a hearty laugh. "Are you sure? I can stay around for the police to get here. But if you insist..." Jojo pats the little girl's head, and uses a thumb to carefully remove a tear that was about to fall out of the girl's eyes. "Don't mention it. It was a pleasure," He says, his eyes twinkled. Standing back to his full height, he watches the two ladies walking away. Turning to the group of heroes, Jojo assess the situation, having heard most of the chatter. "This Finnigan is a despicable man. Going so low as to kidnapping Pokémon." Narrowing his eyes, Jojo looks to the man who talked. "Tell me, this man that meets you half-way. It is always the same guy?" He struts over, kneeling slightly so his eyes is on the same eye level of the man's. Jojo does so to show the man he isn't looking down on him, despite the man's poor choice of career. "Your information is most valuable. So would you kindly answer my question.""Trade phone numbers? Ahh, you must mean the small portable electronic devices" Jojo says, remembering that when people ask for phone numbers nowadays, they mean cellphones and not the old land lines. He is more familiar to the older corded phones at home, rather then the new cellular phones. Stopping Finnigan's operation is important. Rescuing the kidnapped Pokémon is just as important. Without a hesitation, Jojo's eyes twinkled. "If sharing my number allows us to rescue the kidnapped Pokémon sooner, then I'll trust you with my number."12 Charm to convince the man to talk about the middleman. 9 Perception to see if the man has/had a wedding ring on his finger, or any indication that he has a loved one.

The man remained mostly quiet as the group conversed among themselves. Not even Zenith's comment got much of a reaction out of him. He took a quick glance at his crew, checking to see if they were moving about. It seemed that they did a number of them, they were out like a light. His eyes quickly glanced at the muscle man, asking him about the middle-man. "From what I've experienced, it rotates between two to three people, never the same one per night. But the strangest thing is they can cause pain without touching you... Freakiest thing." He explained, resting a hand on his knee. From what you can tell, he doesn't have anything on him to indicate that he has a loved one. With a sigh, he slumped right back to the ground, and simply closed his eyes as he waited for the inevitable "You and your friends should get going..." He added, before pulling his hat down to cover his eyes. For those of you who are going to the Warehouse/docks, Roll Perception when you leave.

Siren bit her lip as Rotech suggested sharing numbers. She had only met them tonight... and if somebody was to trace her number and knew the wrong people, they'd have a powerful lever on her. Letting her father or his associates know who she was would put Loren on the fast track to the bottom of the harbor, worst-case scenario. Certainly it'd ensure a swift end to Siren's career one way or another. On the other hand, it was the only way to stay in contact rather than just wind up wandering around the harbor randomly if they got split up. And unless everyone in the group turned on her, she could probably call on them for help if the worst happened...
So she smoothed the worry out of her expression easily and shot Rotech a coy grin. "You know, if you wanted my number, you could've just asked," she teased, making light of the situation.
She shot the goon on the ground a look when he mentioned Finnigan's underlings having weird abilities. Well, if her father had gotten her amulet for its powers, maybe he'd found other trinkets, though she hadn't thought he would hand them out to goons. "Thanks for the tip. Well, I'm gonna head down that way. Anybody like to join me?"

Rotech chuckled a bit at Siren's response, getting her number, "If this goes well I'll end up making us some team communicators."
He looked at the guy on the ground, and nodded to himself, "He's right. We've got to get going."
He exchanged phone numbers with Jojo, "The little girl seems to like you. So you mind hanging back with them?"
"Then Zenith you mind going with Siren?" he asked exchanging numbers with him, "You plan to get some information out of the middle man right? If it's the two of you, you should be able to get the info out of him."
"Then Cora, I'd like the help checking the docks." He asked holding his phone, waiting to see if she was going to exchange numbers with him, "If that's a good for you guys?"

"I must regret to inform you I don't own a mobile phone. They're much too complicated and I don't understand why the youth fawn over them like a newborn babe, but I digress. If I'm to go with you, Mr. Rotech, then not having a cellular device shouldn't be a problem, yes?" Cora explains.
Phones were always difficult to understand for Cora. She was once given a cheap phone by someone at the homeless shelter who was trying to interest her more in the modern world and try to help her find a boss. Cora didn't understand what any of the buttons meant or any of the the icons on the screen. When she tried calling someone, she began to ask for an operator, not understanding there no longer was a switchboard operator. She eventually gave the phone back as she just couldn't fathom how to use the thing.
"This plan is satisfactory to me. Though, Miss Siren? Would you mind informing me about the middleman after seeing him? I'd be most interested in his abilities." She asks.

"Got it, then yeah stick with me." Rotech said, "Let's head out."
With that he started walking towards the docks, walking a bit slowly until Cora catches up.

Zenith didn't mind going to talk to the middleman with Siren. He proceeded to say as much. "That plan is fine with me." With the two of them on the job, it was unlikely they'd be taken out by the mysterious powers the middlemen wielded. He turned to Siren. "Well then, shall we go?" He began walking a little, allowing Siren to catch up to his admittedly large strides easily. Perception: 7
