Another test build I want to try out, strictly without the roleplay involved. Let's just declare our Moves, Features, ect, thanks.
Every book is allowed besides the February Playtest. Just let me know if you're also using February's Playtest.
Accepting any challengers, but would most prefer 1 on 1 duels against other Combat Trainers, since I'm specifically opting not to use any Pokemon.
I spent $37.000 this time on items, golly having multiple Attack Focii is expensive. Challengers can spend however much they like. Also assume that Big McLargeHuge has 5 Cleanse Tags of let's say Power Value 10 on each of his arms, just in case anyone cheeky tries to use Ghost Types. Big McLargeHuge's sheet is here.
I'm not sure how you have Virtuoso despite being Level 20, so that's the only thing I'd question. Other than that, I recently learned that I can't use ore than one Stat Focus, so I replaced the OH one with a Shield, May Playtest Version for +1 Evasion, assuming that's the version you're using as well.
Beef McLargeHuge's Initative - 20, so you move first I assume.
Alright, sorry I died for a couple days. I'm not sure how you Levitated 8 Meters, since Master Acrobatics would grants only 7- maybe something you forgot when you took out Virtuoso? I also don't quite know where you're starting from, I thought it was from 10 meters away like on the battlemap, but it seems you started from directly in front of me. I'll just assume you wanted to start from there since I don't have any real problems with that.
Beef McLargeHuge takes 34 damage, being lowered to 67/101 HP.
Beef McLargeHuge Shifts 5 meters towards Floaty with a Running Start to gain +1 to their already 2 High Jump for a total 3 High Jump. Beef McLargeHuge leaps, being directly adjacent to Floaty long enough to use Multi-Tasking, then Storm Throw twice.
Move: Storm Throw Type: Fighting Range: Melee, 1 Target AC 8 vs uPe|JHw81d20 Physical Damage: 2d8+10+37 (32 Attack, 5 Attack Focus) Effect: If Storm Throw hits, it is a Critical Hit.
On hit, Floaty becomes Vulnerable and the Critical Hit damage of Storm Throw is an additional 2d8+10, as well as Sniper adding the die again for another [2d8+10] damage.
Second Storm Throw: Move: Storm Throw Type: Fighting Range: Melee, 1 Target AC 8 (2 if Vulnerable) vs 1d20 Physical Damage: 2d8+10+37 (32 Attack, 5 Attack Focus) Effect: If Storm Throw hits, it is a Critical Hit.
Beef McLargeHuge then lands on the ground, I'm not sure if this would count as provoking an Attack of Opportunity due to leaving an adjacent square, so if it does go ahead and AoO him. End turn. 1d20·2d8+10+37·2d8+10·1d20·2d8+10+37
I am terrible at formatting, and half the dice don't show any digits so lemme repair those broken dice as follows: First Storm Throw's damage: p_j46My84d8+76 That's 19 from the Crit of the roll that did show up, 32 Attack, 5 from the Attack Focus, 2d8+10 from the normal Damage Base, and another 2d8+10 from Sniper.
Since the first one hit, the second Storm Throw lands due to Vulnerable and deals 6d8+67 damage.4d8+76·6d8+67

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Anyone else here a Hunter x Hunter fan?

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?
Nov 28, 2019 6:17:00 GMT
Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

i wanted to join a living server on roll20 to learn the system but they ignored my application for 2 weeks then blocked me

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.

How does this site work?

Post on the Game Masters Seeking Players page. There are plenty examples there to go off of.
