All the sheets but Hazel seems to link back to this page (and that is a recurring phenomenom I've seen plenty of times on the forum, so I would guess it is some sort of little bug?). Anyhow, thanks for the pick and here is a link to Nikki's sheet : )

Oh and another thing that I just mentioned in the recruitment thread - I updated my sheet with all the updated February Playtest Package Abilities (NOT the completely new ones!). You are of course more then welcome to steal this; simply go to my sheet called "Ability Details" click in the top left cell and go Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C. Navigate to your own sheet and unhide the one called Ability Details then mark the top left cell and go Ctrl+A then Ctrl+V. This should update the sheet. Disclaimer: If this somehow explodes anything or I can't be held liable. And if you screw up something it is not my fault either

I've come up with an interesting idea for a pokemon in a postnuclear world: the Uranium Kabutops, a green-glowing, highly irradiated member of its species. Rock/Poison, replace Swift Swim with either Poison Point or Poison Touch, give it Poison Jab and Toxic in its level-up movelist, and add the Glow capability.

I was actually thinking of something similar but with Carbink. Instead of some diamond or whatnot it could be made from an reactor meltdown.
Ohh and on that topic one could totally add Radiate as a poison type "weather" where the pokemon glows green and everyone close by starts to feel really bad ^^
(Off topic; but has anyone played the Stalker series of games? Was inspired a bit by the Wish Granter near the end of the first one when I was thinking of irradiated pokémons)

Both of those would be interesting.

I super like Carbink! Here is Joe's sheet as well. I like the idea of some of the Porygon line becoming less linked to human tech. As tech began to fail and the infrastructure that kept the internet up deteriorated, some of the Porygon line adapted. Rather than being able to become data, a Porygon population that began to follow thunder storms, thinking the electrical signal meant human technology, would be able to turn its whole body into electricity, and striking as lightning anywhere in the storm.

All right - now that all of us are here I though we could do a quick little OOC rundown of our characters and what they bring to the party : ) I'll start with Nikki. She got plenty of knowledge about tech in general as well as some of the supernatural things one could come across, both owing to the strange mixture of mechanics and superstition that is the basis for techs-maintenance these days. She also has a passing familiarity with medicine and so so she can help out a little on that front. She is in general quite nice to be around even if her social skills are hampered a bit by her lack of experience with the more manipulative sides. In a scarp she isn't very useful considering her frailty. Translation: Expert Occult/Tech ed, Novice Medicine Ed, Adept Charm & Command, Pathetic Intimidate, Guile & Combat. She also has the Skill Monkey feature to further improve her skills. She can however contribute to the outcome of battle before it started instead. Her mixed expertise with both bringing out the power in shards as well as constructing various more mechanical trinkets gives her plenty of opportunity to prepare herself and others. Should proper materials be lacking she can usually rig up some sort of temporary solution! Translation: She can make many useful things with Artificer, Upgrader and Fashionista. And with the Dashing Makeover feature she can temporarily let someone benefit from any item she could make without actually having it! Most obvious would probably be the anti-weather gear, but also the proper temporary Type Brace could probably come in handy! Note: If there are some useful item you feel Nikki could make for you do not hesitate to give me a poke and I'll look into it Then we have her team of pokemons! First up is Lis the Mawile. Lis has her stats balanced between HP, Atk, Def and Sp.Def. Combined with her excellent defensive typing, a Ground-Brace to cover that weakness (and probably a Fire-Brace with Chic to cover the other weakness if Nikki can find enough shards!), Medical Nanobots (basically Leftovers) as well as Intimidate she is a very solid and hard-to-KO pokemon. Another capability of note is her Sweet Scent which lets her double as Bait should we need that. Second up is Up the Drifloon. It has a high HP and Speed, the later coupled with Unburden, which makes it somewhat capable of taking a hit or two. Minimize lets it play the Evasion tank game a little better if needed but the true strength of Up lies in his mixed Attacker capabilities. Atk and Sp.Atk is its tied-for-third highest stats and together with the Mixed Sweeper edge and dual STABs of Astonish and Gust Up can lay down some okay damage. Other useful perks are simply the fact that Up can fly as well as its ability to see in the dark. Lastly we have Vryn the Skrelp. Like Lis Vryn is set up to be somewhat bulky but favours Sp.Atk over Atk. Water Gun gives it some range to make up for its slow speed while Acid gives it an small AoE to deal with multiple weaker enemies. Poison Point lets it drop a Status Effect on a stronger foe to weaken it. Smoke Screen is another nice little trick to have (especially if Nikki manages to scourge up enough Scap to give Vryn Smart Vision!). Lastly Vryn was given both of Nikki's inheritance moves so he will eventually pick up Toxic Spikes for crowd control as well as Acid Armour which can be handy for scouting. And that was it. If anything seems weird or you are interested to know more feel free to poke me. And if you have time/energy to write your own short little summaries of your characters that would also be cool. Cheers : )

I guess I'll do Hazel next.
What she does is hit things, hard, using difficult-to-resist Dragon moves and her prized flail that she designed herself (with a little help - she's not an artificer after all). If enemies fly up out of range, well, it's Also A Gun, though she's limited to struggle attacks in this instance. With a focus on defense, and the Stalwart Bastion feature, she also makes a pretty good tank, though special attacks will still give her trouble.
As for her pokemon:
Tyndarios is a typical Tyrunt specimen from Hazel's home region: a powerful physical tank much like Hazel herself. He has Hyper Cutter instead of sprint because that honestly fits his imperious personality better. He has Ice Fang as an Egg Move, and Stealth Rock as a support move for when he isn't just charging at the enemy.
Kedama, the Woobat, is there in an attempt to balance the previous vulnerabilities to special moves, with a relatively high Sp. Def stat (though her speed will likely be where she gets most of her evasion). Thanks to Weird Power, her physical attacks are just as strong as her special ones, and in fact just the slightest bit stronger. Once she hits level 29 (or as early as 20 with a TM), she will have the combo of Simple + Calm Mind into Stored Power, making her a force to be reckoned with in Danmaku battles.
Suika the Darumaka, on the other hand, is all about doing what those pint-sized powerhouses do best: applying sheer force (though not Sheer Force... yet) to enemies. It's a pretty straightforward plan, for a pretty straightforward pokemon.
Now that I think about it, my whole character is pretty straightforward so far, except for Kedama's little combo. In the future, I certainly wouldn't be averse to figuring out a good reason to accept one of Nikki's augs, but beyond that I haven't really thought about what to pick up. Armor would be nice, and that calm mind TM so I don't have to wait another 9 levels after 20...

@ Augmentation - I'm trying out Medical Nanobots as earlier mentioned on Lis the Mawile. Given that Lis is pretty similar in function to Hazel (stand firm and dish out damage) you could use her performance as an evaluation. My idea was that since Lis will probably take a fair bit of damage the Leftover regeneration will come in handy - we'll see. And as a bonus the Medical Nanobots are among the least invasive of the Augments so no-one would have to look like a cyborg unless they really want to @ TMs - There is a few of them that are really handy. Not sure how well stocked the local store is though, but maybe we can find something : )

Okay, here's Joe!
He has worked with pokemon and children his whole life. This has led to a good knowledge of pokemon. He most often works with younger pokemon, leading to him taking a gentler "mentor" role. Ha. He has some combat knowledge but no practical experience. He prefers to stay back and fire off a few arrows, he's kinda squishy right now. Adept charm with pathetic guile/intimidate bros! He might go for the pokemon caretaking field but maybe not.
He's happy to help anyone with teaching their pokemon new things. That basically means Lessons and Move/Egg tutors when he gets there.
Okay, now for the Pokemon.
Roxanne the Slugma is a special attacker through and through. She is serious and determined. All of her moves inflict a secondary effect and I hope to continue that trend. She is kinda squisy though, with her stats split between sp.att, health, and speed. Magma Armor does punish physical attackers, so that's good. Amorphous and Wallclimber make for a good scout and overland mobility edge insures she not too slow. She is not going to evolve, doesn't want be as slow and unable to squeeze into tight places.
Plato the Bunnelby is a physical attacker. He is a silly character. He's not as fast as Slugma(weird that the bunny is slower than the slug), he can boost his speed with agility or get in a final blow with priority quick attack. He also hits quite hard with Take Down. He super needs to diversify his movepool. Pick-Up doesn't do anything in combat but is a nice ability for the apocalypse.
Andy the Axew is also a physical attacker. He's got a nice strong stab attack in Double Chop. Tying in speed with Roxanne, he not bad in the speed department, and can hit fairly hard. As a last ditch, Dragon Rage can hit everything but fairies. Mold Breaker is situational but useful.
I'm looking forward to getting a pokemon that can take some hits, haha.

Also I'll make a mental note to place either of my two bulkier pokés in front of Joe's. Then we can also try and hide behind Hazel Ohh and since I forgot earlier - Electric Porygon is sorta interesting. And if you make it a Soldier too I bet you can get some really powerful Crowd Control ...

Oops, looks like I missed the "Introduce your character" block... Probably time to fix that.
Karin is... not too useful in a fight, what with (literal) Pathetic combat and no offensive ability. She has plenty of healing, though, both in combat and out. Especially since she can manufacture healing items with Apothecary! Other than all that fun medical stuff (and finding food, if we're ever lost in the woods?), she's pretty average.
For her team, we have... Camilla the Flaaffy, who is focused on Special Attack (and Health). She's rather limited in attacks right now, with only Thunder Shock for ranged damage. Edwin the Swadloon, focused on being as much of a wall as possible. He also carries Camouflage, to escape that horrible Bug/Grass typing. Finally, Alexander the Deino, my required Dragon type "guardian". At present, he's definitely a Physical attacker, but he's statted for Mixed attacking... eventually. It also bears mentioning that my team is... not fast. At all.

I'm thinking house -> train -> check out village in general -> lunch -> pester Hazel -> maybe visit the creek?
And maybe when we see the house we are supposed to live in we might get some more ideas of stuff to do : )

I think that plan works pretty well. Ideally, we'll all be there when we get to the creek?

Yeah. I figured it would both contain the "ooh running water!" for Nikki, the perimeter for Hazel and maybe a chance for Joe to spot the local pokémon population without being an true expedition to the wild. And some people for Karen to hang around : )

I took the liberty to apply Exp. Training to my pokemons while we visited the house. I figured that Nikki probably wouldn't have time to do that while travelling and it seemed like a good way to justify spending some time at our new house. And so that at least Joe and Karin gets to see my other 2 pokes. : )
