Also applying training (although in my case, Grooming... not much Command here...)
Anybody else think the new (roll) thread is ominous?

@ Darumaka - The difference of Darumaka's stages aren't that big except size I guess, so you could probably go for a slightly smaller Darmanitan if you want. Also arm-lenght and facial expression I guess (but that one should be easy to fluff ). If you are looking for mechanical reasons to stay I'll give you my thoughts : ) 1) Stat points - a Darmanitan and a Darumaka with all the Underdog edges has exactly the same stat point total I think (50) so that shouldn't really be an issue except having to spend a few more Training Points. 2) Zen Mode vs Celebrate - Celebrate is still a quite good ability and might fit better with your idea then Zen Mode. So even if Zen Mode (in my opinion!) is really useful and cool Celebrate isn't that much of a 'downgrade' - more of a sidegrade. So if you want a bit more speedy pokemon I guess Darumaka is actually better . ) 3) Hustle vs Sheer Force - If Suika gets some magical eyedrops or something (Smart Vision Augmentation) Hustle turns into an always on Sheer Force, which is quite nice! It gives her a few more options to pick moves and it lets you benefit from secondary effects if you want to go that route. Lastly the evolution level is far away so I guess you'll have plenty of time to think about it. This is just my quick thoughts on the subject : ) ______________________ @ Joe/Mentor - If you are up for it, Lis wouldn't mind learning to Play Rough once she is level 20 : ) ______________________ @ Darkcherry/Dowsing - I'll head over to the Roll thread and make the rolls for one Dowsing attempt. I figured that was what the thread is for; if not feel free to correct me. Additionally while the riverbanks are technically a beach I don't think it is really 'beachy' enough to qualify for the +1d6 on the dowsing attempt. If it does then you are of course also more then welcome to correct me

It seems sorta that way. Maybe if we poke it a little IC it will jolt back ?

All right. Darkcherry hasn't been online for a while nor has she posted here for some two weeks. With a bit of luck (ehh not sure if that would be the correct term for this really ) she has just been stressed out or sick or had something come up IC or something. But even then one could hope she would slip in and drop a note or something, especially since it is so early in the game. So we might have to come to terms with our GM being MIA. And if that is indeed the case I'd like to ask you guys if you are still up for this game if I take over the GM responsibilities for now? I can't guarantee that I can keep it up nor figure out a good overarching plot. I can't really guarantee much of anything actually But I do have a small idea for an introduction 'quest'! It would pretty much be a small wilderness expedition run. Another option that is sorta useful is having a rotating GM where everyone runs a small quest or something then the next one takes over. It would make it so everyone gets to try and GM this without overextending! Thoughts?

If you wanted to, I'd be fine with having you as Acting Substitute GM. Especially if you think you'll have fun...

I'd just ask that you hold off on this for a bit, while we try and resolve exactly how we want to handle this.
This is just a bit of a tricky situation, and we need to make sure the rulings here don't come back to bite us in other situations.

Aye that seems fair enough. I don't think anything will come of this too quickly; I merely wanted to offer the option before all interest in the game well and truly dies : )
