All over Ai panic had begun to settle in. Pokemon were scared to even leave the small village and try to get to another village for trade. Everyone was scared of what would happen. The kecleon stores have dwindled down to little and it was hard to get anything good for supplies. Many have gone missing in the past couple of weeks including one of the kecleon brothers and mentor alakazam.
You and your friends have decided to miniature exploration team office on the west side of town. Once inside of the very run down building you see a small falling apart desk with a Weepingbell standing behind it asleep looking extremely thin. On one side of the room, you can see a board with small pieces of paper on it.

Fennel the Fennekin steps forward, his well-groomed coat giving the impression that he hasn't been affected by the panic in Ai. He is wearing a pair of dark-blue sleeves (or whatever you would call them on a quadruped), and a dark-blue bow at the base of his tail. On his head rests, somewhat incongruously, a somewhat threadbare cap in the same shade of blue, pointed like a wizard's hat.
"Excuse me, but my friends and I would like to sign up for one of those Rescue Teams. Is this the place to do it?"

As Fennel steps forward, Revenir remains silent at the back of the group. He's wearing a jet-black armour piece that covers most of his small body. He's also wearing a steely grey helmet with black and red accents. Unlike the armour, this helmet is just for show. It wouldn't hold up to any real attack. It was an easy thing for a beginner smith like him to fashion as practice.
Revenir doesn't show any of the panic that has begun to grip the villagers. Revenir is determined to see the situation changed at the hands of he and his friends. They'll find out why all the mystery dungeon's are appearing around the village and maybe find a way to stop it.
It was a little strange, because his mother is actually doing better because of the crisis. Many are buying weapons in order to better protect themselves. No one wants to go missing like Alakazam. He doesn't quite know how to feel about that. Not happy certainly. Sad is close. Yes, it was quite sad that the business was doing so well, as strange as that sounded. Well, supplies are beginning to become tight, so it's only a matter of time before his mother no longer has any steel left to forge with. Unless she goes out and gets more herself. Revenir can see her doing that. He has to suppress a smile.
Revenir is quite content to let Fennel or anyone else do the talking. He'll speak up when he needs to. He notices that the Weepingbell at the desk is looking very thin. It looks like the shortage of supplies is hitting this one hard. Revenir clenches a fist. All that matters is that they join or create a new Rescue Team and then they can get to helping people like this.

Imperia would normally have taken the initiative in proclaiming their group's intent, but the moment she laid eyes on the straggly-looking Weepinbell her train of thought was instantly diverted. She buzzed past her companions and gently set a small wax cup full of amber liquid on the desk. "Oh dear, you look positively terrible! Are you certain you should be working in that state? Here, We haven't managed to gather much lately, but this honey may revitalize you somewhat." Fussing over the poor plant as it woke up, the little Combee hovered to and fro in consternation until it answered Fennel's question.

Dinar frowns at the thin Weepingbell. It wasn't uncommon too see pokemon struggling now. The differences and the lack of supplies was really hurting people. Dinar himself has been feeling the crunch. Imperia and Fennel, of course, are the first to step forward an speak with the Weepingbell.
Dinar was counting on them to handle the set up of the guild, so he wandered over to the board and peered at the small slips of paper that were attached to it.

"Yes this is tge place to sign up for a rescue team," she replies slowly moving to grab a paper from under the desk. "Please put your names and the name of the team on this form."
Upon reading the contract you see that you will recieve new quest daily via the quest board in the Exploation Office. You also agree to give 10% of profits from quests to help with repairs and up keep.
"Thank you dear. I will split this between Wind and myself. It should get us thru the day." Weepingbell says as a Pidgeotto flies down from the raptors.

"Oh dear." Fennel turns to the others, "I am afraid I forgot all about discussing the name of our team. Allow me to suggest Team Super Awesome Mega Splendiferous Overwhelming Nirvana, or SAMSON for short!"

Revenir debated leaving the name to the others to come up with, but decided that this was important and he should have a say. He had to hold back from suggesting 'The Dark Knights'. Instead he thought a little longer and tried to come up with something appropriate. "If you put the first letters of our names together, you get FRID. How about Freed? Or maybe something like Freedom Vanguard?" His voice carried little inflection, but as the group knew him well, they could detect a tinge of amusement. It seemed he enjoyed coming up with names. Then he realised that their plan to save the village had little to do with gaining freedom. He fell silent once more and schooled his features so no one would catch his embarrassment. "Or maybe something like Solace Guard," he said finally.

Dinar turns away from the quest board and gives Fennel a long suffering look, "Lets go for something a little less... extravagant, and more dependable sounding. I propose Team Steadfast. It reliable and short. He says grinning at Fennel when he emphasis's short.
He nods when Revenir suggests Solace Guard, I like that name, I would be okay with Solace Guard. Imperia? Dinar turns to the Combee smiling, knowing she wouldn't like to be left out of something like this.

Fennel pretends to pout a little that the others weren't impressed by his name idea, but honestly he had thrown out the first wild idea that had come to mind, more for a laugh than anything else.
He agrees with the others that "Solace Guard" sounds like a good name, or perhaps just "Team Solace," as it has a nice calming ring to it, a drop of hope to reassure the downtrodden in these troubled times.

"I'm only sorry there isn't any more," Imperia buzzed apologetically, "but... well, that's why we've come today, I suppose!" She tittered a bit despite herself at Fennel's suggestion, but her expression grew serious as she considered the others. "Yes, Solace... I quite like it! We shall be a balm for our people, delivering them from the suffering that has plagued us all. Team Solace!~"

"Dear do not mind us to much. We do what we can to scrounge up enough for us and a couple of others around the town. We have a small garden in the back but it is not growing enough to keep many of us in town going," she said with a smile. "At least with your group being willing to go out you will be able to bring back supplies including food. So Team Solace sounds good, it would increase moral here in town. If everyone has signed the paper and Solace is an agreement, the board over there is the quest board."

Dinar smiles at the Weepingbell then ducks his head nervously. After signing the paper, he hurries over to the quest board looking for a quest that their group would be good at.

Revenir smiled a little. He hadn't expected his friends to be so taken with his name idea. Revenir, Dark Knight of Team Solace, the team that would "be a balm for our people". He liked that and promised himself there and then that he would make sure Imperia's words would be true. They would deliver the people from their suffering, no matter what he had to do. His smile grew softer as Imperia fussed over the Weepingbell. That was just like her. Caring about everyone she met.
The aspiring knight quickly walked over to sign the required papers and joined Dinar at the quest board. He read over the available quests for a minute and then decided what he wanted to do. "I think we should take the quests in Morgana Forest. Both of them if possible. With missing people, time is of the essence. We can still look for berries afterwards, perhaps even on the way back," Revenir said his eyes and voice both serious. "What do you think?" he asked the group. That poor Happiny... and the brave Squirtle. They couldn't leave them to rot in the Forest. Revenir's morals wouldn't allow for that.

It was unlike Revenir to take the initiative, and Imperia nodded in proud approval of his suggestion. She supposed he was as eager as she as to get started, both to help Ai and to live up to their respective legacies. "Though the forest nearby has been picked clean..." she added regretfully. "Finding any fresh berries may be more of a challenge than those poor wayward Pokemon."

Revenir nodded thoughtfully, becoming less animated and more reserved again. He hadn't considered that the forest was already picked clean. Perhaps that was the downside to not having to worry about the food on his own table. It made him a little short-sighted when requests like this one came along. Revenir promised himself to think more deeply on matters before speaking out next time.
Well, let's get on with accepting the quest. We can't let those Pokemon remain missing any longer, Revenir thought, mentally urging his group to act.

Dinar noticed that Revenir was drawing in on himself and bumped with is shoulder in a friendly fashion, "I agree, the quests in Morgana Forest sound like a good place to start." He frowned, thinking of his sister.

Revenir was surprised when Dinar bumped into him and offered his friend a rare smile. It didn't last long as Revenir had simply gotten used over the years to having a somewhat stony countenance, but it had been there and that was all that mattered.

"Hey! We're taking both of these quests in the forest, okay?" Fennel calls to the Weepinbell.
After he signs up the group for the quests he begins heading for the door, eager to begin his first mission as part of a team.
"Let's go friends, those pokemon aren't going to save themselves. Well, not unless they are very lucky, anyway."

Revenir followed Fennel towards the door, just as eager to start the mission. Finally, the fox Pokemon thought. I thought we'd never leave. This is going to be our first mission - in his mind, the two quests had already become one mission - and we can't afford to have a bad showing if we want people to associate our name with actually feeling safe. Of course, Revenir mainly wanted to help people for the sake of helping people, but he was quite capable of being somewhat cunning too, trying to maximize the impact of the mission. In the end, Revenir figured, it was all for the good of the people.
