I see, near Galahad huh? Haven't got much of a chance to visit there. I'm from Zel originally but been flying ever since I was a wee lad." Niyol began to chuckle "Nice to know that parents and their kids get along and share. I wasn't particularly fond of my father.

Sans took a sandwich and took a bite out of the sandwich, smiling and eating the sandwich happily. He didn't really say anything as he continued to eat the food. He smiled looking at the members as they had the sandwiches.
A voice spoke inside the groups heads, and the little boy stepped out from behind Sans. He took a deep breath as if psyching him self up for something.
He looked to Sans, and sans smiled at him, taking another bite out of the sandwich.
Inside everyone's minds a young boys voice said, Sans told me to tell you guys, your job is to defend me while we go support the Order of The Rainbow Dragon.
An image of a Map clearly appeared in their heads, leading them to a location that seemed like it'd take a little under a couple hours to walk there. Looking over head the sun was saying it was mid afternoon, meaning that they'd arrive at the location, a somewhere a couple miles away from the capital, sometime in the evening.
There's a small bandit encampment there, and you're to protect me and stop stragglers. Don't kill them, that's been band....it... His joke not mine. The voice continued.

Alex was in the middle of eating sandwich when she started hearing the voice in her head, and honestly, it didn't surprise her. She had felt like the kid was there for a reason, and telepathy was nothing too out of the ordinary in the magic knights. However, she was very visibly surprised when the Order of the Rainbow Dragons was mentioned. She didn't think it would happen so soon, but finally she would be able to enact her revenge, and the excitement mixed with the anger and hate was beginning to show. As the child continued the message, Alex was shaking a little bit, and repeatedly clenching and unclenching her fists at her side, almost as if she was using an imaginary stress ball.
When the child finished, Alex looked at Sans and the boy, and with a crooked smile asked "And how will we be assisting the Rainbow Dragons?"

When the bags are brought out and food is offered, Ovelia's eyes light up for a moment though she tries to hide it and remain calm. She takes a sweet sandwich and opens it before taking a bite.
A grin crosses her face as the sweet flavor fills her mouth. Ovelia loved sweets and while it wasn't a bag of candy like she typically munched on but it worked for the commonly hungry girl.
"Thank you, Sir Thane." Ovelia said after finishing the first few bites. "This is very delicious!" She said when there was a gap between Thane and the flameboyant man talking.
When she overheard the conversation about a forge she nodded at the sword on her hip and dagger on her thigh. "I have done some forging as well on the side." She adds.
She is initially surprised at the telepathy and tries to push negative thoughts aside. She wasn't a fan of people in her head, but it was a young kid and she didn't want to make a complaint.
When the only other girl in the otherwise sausage party spoke Ovelia looked over at her. Interesting reaction... She thought without speaking.

Seeing everyone dig in, Mael reached for a sandwich of his own. He started salivating at the spicy smell before he even took a bite, and when he did finally take a bite, he was in love. Well, maybe nothing quite so dramatic, but he had to admit; "This is delicious. Well done, Thane." As he went in for another bite, the black bird on his shoulder performed a lightning fast movement and gobbled up a quarter of the sandwich. Tenebram seemed satisfied. Mael rolled his eyes. "You feathered fart, you probably don't even need to eat," he muttered.
Mael quickly finishes the rest before his Pokemon could claim anymore. Then the little kid spoke into his mind. That sort of ability made him feel nervous. He prided himself on his ability to hide what he was thinking from others, but mind reading completely ignored his skills and practically laid his soul bare to be seen. Mael wasn't sure his soul was a pretty sight. He hoped that the child was only speaking to them and not actively reading their minds.
When he looked around to see the reactions of the rest of the group to the mental intrusion, he noticed Alex clenching her hands and shaking. Was she angry at the kid, he wondered. As the kid went on to tell them what they would be doing, all thoughts of telepathy went flying out of his mind. They were going to be fighting bandits on their first day? Was that normal for a Magic Knight? Mael hoped the bandits weren't too skilled. But that was a foolish hope, it was better to prepare for the worst. He steeled himself and prepared to fight for his life. Not that any of this showed on the outside. The face he presented to the group was calm and collected. Fake it until you make it, Mael told himself. He already felt a little calmer. It was just bandits right? How dangerous could they be in the face of his magic?

"Thanks, it's nothing really." Thane said to the complements to his cooking as he listened to the mental outline of the plan. "So we are escorting you? Sounds like it shouldn't be too difficult then if all we need to worry about is stragglers." Thane queried, seeming to have lost the edge he been on earlier as he accustomed to the new people and strange new powers.

OOC: could have edited my post but with two other replies figured best to just comment and add. Phone posting at work made me forget to comment on the actual mission <.< Derp. "Even if they weren't stragglers they are just bandits." Ovelia said with a shrug once she finished chewing, "Honorless, thieves, and probably lacking in any sort of skill other than bullying powerless people. This should be over quickly." She said as she finished off the last of the sandwich. She gave another polite bow to Thane followed by another thanks, "Thank you, again."

Niyol enthusiastically snapped his fingers at Mael speaking to his Pokémon. "I practically said the same thing just the other day! This fella, Flynt is always-" Before Niyol could say anymore the bright colored Archen took the half eaten jelly sandwich out of his hand.
"...See?" Making sure the other sandwich was out of reach of the maw, Niyol continued as he looked over Niyol and smiled. "We may be look like day and night but we're kind of similar, you and I."
When the voice interrupted their chitchat Niyol tilt his head thinking the voice must be coming from somewhere when he realized it was in his head and by the look of things from the small boy. It was unus for sure but he have heard of such thing before so it made sense to Niyol for someon like the boy to be in the Magic Knights. Listening to the others opinion on the mission, Niyol couldn't help but chuckle uneasily at Oveila's rather blunt words. "That may be true but don't underestimate them. The very fact that they are thieves and dishonorable means they just as tenacious and willing to be dirty."

"Unless they are also capable of wielding magic and summoning I doubt any tricks will help them." Ovelia said with a shrug, "There is a reason bandits get stomped out as soon as attention gets focused on them. They are only a threat to the powerless because they are cowards and bullies." She shrugged, "But if you aren't comfortable fighting what are basically land pirates you can leave it to the actual knights."

Niyol gave trouble smile until it smoothed to a more charming one as he leans forward toward Oveila and looked down to speak tauntingly into her ear. "I be just concern for your welfare, sweetheart. I hate t' see you and your dignity get hurt at the hand of some measly land pirate."
Niyol gave a quick smile, not quite a sneer, and easily move back out of her range.

"Well that's sweet of you to be so concerned, but its misplaced. No lowlife would be able to hurt my dignity." Ovelia said calmly, seeming to ignore the taunt. "I'd express similar concern for your dignity but...I don't think there is any fear of that at least." She sighed, "May it rest in peace..." She mumbled before bowing her head as if in a moment of silence.

Niyol chuckles, "Oh ho, I like you. Your tongue waggles like a pirate for all your talk o' dignity."
Niyol flippantly waves his hand at Oveila before turning to face the their charge. Niyol crouch down with his elbow on his knees and his hand holding his head. "Don't you worry, lad. We'll do our best by you. Nothing will come near you without my knowing about it." Niyol points at his good eye and smiled in a friendly manner at the boy. "What's yr name, lad?"

Ovelia is about to respond, but when he turns away, she stops. It wouldn't be good to continue things. She had no problem replying, but by turning away it would be rude to pursue and make her look like the villain. She didn't want the criminal to be the one that looked like the victim. When he talked to the psychic, Ovelia raised an eyebrow. The boy was clearly a skilled psychic and their mission objective. Talking to him like a small child when he would be escorted near dangerous areas just seemed so condescending. Then again, she had gotten a condescending vibe from the flamboyant man.
She wanted to comment, but she refrained in order to not start something again. Instead, she decided to see how the psychic would respond. At the very least it would hopefully be amusing. She reached into one of the pouches on her belt and pulled out a small piece of candy to snack on while she watched.

As Alex smiled at the Child he shirked behind the leader of the group Sans.
The child explained to her and the rest of the group through telepathy, I'll be providing you and them with logistical support, Coordinating and counting enemies before we head in.
He shirked further behind sans as Niyol got closer, Shelldon Serilacan.......
Sans took another bite out of the sandwich and looked at the Shelldon again.
Sans also told me to warn you guys, to not underestimate the band.... it... of bandits. he said, looking at them.
Sans smiled, and walked back inside of "The Pot".
Leaving Shelldon behind with the new members.

"Well the sooner we get this done with the sooner we can relax and finish unpacking." Ovelia said with a stretch. "So, if you are done scaring children, we might as well start the journey."

Niyol nods all around at Shelldon's introduction and the warning about the bandit. As San left to enter the Pott, Niyol realized something but was interrupted by Oveila throwing another insult at him. "Haha, I'm pretty sure Shelldon's is strong enough not to be scared by a man with no dignity, as you put it. But I just remembered something important. The bandits could very well use their own magic and summon since magic is common in this country. So we should be careful of that being the case."

"Obviously. But they still aren't trained knights even if they were able to wield magic." Ovelia said with a sigh, "A coward with a spellbook is still a coward. And that's assuming a book would even chose the type of weaklings that would prey on the powerless. Besides, who would be a bandit over a magic knight?" She asked with an amused smile. "Did you apply to be a magic knight just to be worried about some bandits? And not even a bunch. We are stuck with the stragglers. I think I see why you were put in the Yo--" She quickly stopped herself. She needed to keep her feelings about the Youngest Sage to herself and out of public. "I mean if bandits have you so worried why didn't you just stay one?"

Niyol waves his hand in denial. "There is being worried and there is being cautious but it might just have t' with the fact that I was a 'bandit' that I know what t' expect and t' unexpect."

"Whoa whoa guys simmer down, I'm sure even if the bandits are a threat that we can handle them if we work together, there's no need to be slinging insults at each other like small kids." Thane says, trying to defuse the situation and get them back on task.

"Well, I guess from these interactions we can expect that when a group of us show up and show what we can do they'll get scared and start worrying too much about us to do anything? At this rate maybe they'll surrender when we arrive." Ovelia responds as Thane gets involved. "Of course we can. We're a band of mostly knights. That's my entire point." She replies to Thane.
