Eli - The Natu who you strike is definitely wounded, so much so that it hits the ground with a thump, knocking it's head and falling faint. The other one to your side flashes quickly with flames before meeting a similar fate. The other Natu, the one that seemed to accept your words flies around you a few loops before descending on it's small flock. It looks a little disheartened, sighing in such a way only birds can, before looking back up to you. Cecily - The Poliwag is struck hard, knocking it back into the tree it was attempting to shoot at, so much so that a few branches fall and strike it. It gets back up, but barely, as if on it's last legs. It attempts to push another bubble out but instead Sports Water everywhere. You and the Cherubi are drenched suddenly, but Draco flies just out of reach. Meanwhile, the Cherubi attempts to smack into you with a slightly larger body. You spot a wound from the attack you've left on it. Tarkuul - The Stunky glares up at you before grumbling loudly, as if pumping itself up, Focusing its Energy. The ice melts away from it's legs just enough for it to break free, but it keeps its distance, for now... The Zigzagoon cries out at the turn around and retreats behind your legs. You feel it's Tail Whip at your heels, probably by accident. Natu both fainted! Poliwag used Water Sport and effected Cecily and the Cherubi. The Cherubi used Tackle on Cecily, AC 5, 18 Damage if it hits. Stunky unfroze and used Focus Energy. Zigzagoon used Tail Whip, AC 14 against Tarkuul.

Eli carefully cleans his sword with a cloth, before sheathing it, and checking on Blaze. "Little bit of a goose-egg there Blaze, but it'll heal given some time. Return and take a rest." Eli returns the Cyndaquil, before turning and meeting the friendly Natu's gaze. "I'm sorry that you had to fight your friends, but they didn't give us much choice, did they? They should recover though, and we can put them up where they'll be safe until they wake back up in the mean time." He pauses, looking at the Natu intently. "But before we do that, I'd like to officially induct you into my team, and link you to a gem. Are you going to be okay with that?"

Once more, the mist protects Tarkuul from the little pokemon's tail, though it's certainly thinner than before. With the Stunky once again moving, she takes the chance to strike, though her aim was a little off...It would be close. Tark uses Wounding Strike, AC 2 rolled 4, 26 normal physical damage and a tick of HP. One use of Mist left.

Cecily makes an irritated noise as she's soaked by the Poliwag's spray of water, but she can see it's on its last legs now. This looks like an opportune moment for a capture. She steps back from the Cherubi, then pulls out one of her apricorns and tosses it at the Poliwag, hoping it's off balance enough to make an easy capture. Of course, there's still the matter of that Cherubi. She can see she had an effect there, but she can't catch the Poliwag and fend off the Cherubi at the same time. "Draco! Give the plant a Quick Attack!" Draco hums in acknowledgement and streaks at the Cherubi like an arrow, using his speed to his best advantage. Cecily is contemplating another capture, or she'd have him going all-out. Draco used Quick Attack! 18 on AC 2, 24 Physical Normal Damage. Cecily uses a Disengage maneuver to get out of the Cherubi's reach, then throws a Pokéball at Poliwag. 17 on AC 6, capture roll 54.

Cecily - The apricorn smacks into the Poliwag just enough as it wobbles near the tree, the light covers it and bounces off the floor a few times before falling silent. Poliwag was caught! Meanwhile the Cherubi gets struck with the bulk of Draco it forgets what its target is for a moment, focusing on the new attacker as the Libellan escapes it. The Cherubi attempts to tackle the Yanma only to miss completely. It looks confused for a moment as it turns between the Yanma and the Libellan, and the missing Poliwag. Tarkuul - The Stunky takes the blow, just managing to strike it as it leapt forward, claws outstretched. It looks weaker, but the claws still strike at Tarkuul and it's movement is fast, taking it behind her and striking at the Zigzagoon on the way, passing through the two of you as it Scratches. It pants heavily from behind you. Eli - Natu looks up at Eli and nods slowly. Flying up and around Eli a few more times making happy little chirps of "Tu, tu, tu." You also hear a bit of a commotion to your left, and you spot a tree beginning to fall, thankfully not in your direction, but not far off. Poliwag and Natu were caught. Cherubi used Tackle, AC 3 which I'm pretty sure misses Draco. Stunky used Scratch, AC 6. Damage 22 and Pass.

Eli nods and concentrates, building up an orb of energy in his hand as one of the empty gems on his bracer reacts. A gentle tap against the celebrating Natu, and it's drawn into the orb, unresistant as the magic does its work, shrinking the little bird down and enfolding it safely within the gem's crystalline structure; this one serving as the central belly spot of a Zen Mode Darmanitan. He smiles down at the tiny Natu in the gem. "Welcome to the team, Delphi." Looking up as the tree falls, he scoops up the two unconscious Natu, quickly placing them into crooks of tree branches where they wouldn't be easily gotten to, or fall out of.
Rolling his shoulders, he begins to head in the direction of the fallen tree, intent on making sure that none of his companions have been injured, but moving quietly in case it was a pokemon instead, listening intently as he goes; and hoping that the sound of the settling timber would cover his own movements.

The momentum Draco's gained so far in the fight lets him sail away from the Cherubi's attack easily. He buzzes over the little berry-looking Pokémon, looking toward Cecily for permission to deal out the finishing blow. Cecily considers matters quickly. Cherubi don't look like much, but a Grass-type on the team wouldn't be a bad option. Water Pokémon get everywhere, as the Poliwag she just caught attests. And really, the only thing it costs her to try for another capture is an apricorn - and they or other races' similar devices aren't that hard to come by. She holds up a hand to signal Draco to back down for a moment. She pulls out another apricorn for a toss, taking advantage of the Cherubi's moment of hesitation. Unfortunately, she fumbles the throw and misses hopelessly. But that's what she still had her hand up for. "Now, Draco!" Cecily drops her hand quickly and Draco dives in with lightning-quick reflexes to dash into the Cherubi again before it can retaliate. Cecily throws another apricorn! Unfortunately, she rolled a 2, so the Cherubi doesn't even need evasion for it to miss. Draco delays in order to use Quick Attack as a Priority move as soon as Cecily's turn ends. 7 on AC 2, 25 Physical Normal damage. I keep forgetting to actually say it, but Draco's Speed Boost has been going every turn as usual. He's up to +4 Speed CS as of the end of this turn, bringing his Speed up to 27.

Tarkuul's face shifted somewhere between snarling and amusement; pleasure-pain? It was a distinctly orcish expression, and it wasn't entirely pretty. Seeing both the Zigzagoon hurt and the Stunky hurting far more, she slipped between the two, channeling winter's power into her blade. She struck the weakened Stunky to hopefully finish him off; she could worry about her little Zigzagoon friend once the pest was gone. Tark used Struggle! AC 4 rolled 7, 23 Ice Special damage. Moved between Stunky and Zigzagoon if possible.

Cecily - Your apricorn just falls short of the Cherubi, rolling down the trunk of the tree it's thunked into. The Cherubi looks annoyed and goes to act again, ready to fight.. Only to be smacked in the face by Draco. The Cherubi smacks into the same tree and rolls down it similar to the apricorn ball. It's fainted. Tarkuul - You pass through the Zigzagoon to attack the Stunky and it briefly panics, clawing at you in a Struggle before it realises what's happened, it seems very sad about the action it's just caused as it lets you pass the rest of the way to get to Stunky, who in turn lets out a long Screech, as the mist curls in around it and it opens its mouth, biting only at the cold as your attack lands. It falls, fainted. The Zigzagoon looks up at you with wonder in its eyes. Eli - As you stalk through the trees, you spot Icarus and a strange looking Golett fighting a couple of Treecko. As you watch, his Gollet lands a Pound on one, and Icarus himself leaps up. Light from one of the gems on his body glow slightly before shooting out and enveloping the Treecko. It seems caught. Another brief flash of light as the Golett disappears, and he turns to you with a mechanical grin. "Whew, that was a tough one."
Cherubi was knocked out. Zigzagoon made a Struggle Attack, AC 6, Damage 14 if applicable. Stunky attempted to Screech but was struck down. Stunky fainted.

Cecily sighs, scooping up the apricorn ball containing the Poliwag as well as the empty one that missed the Cherubi. "Well, that was a bit embarrassing. I should really have been able to hit that." She reaches up to rub Draco's head fondly, stroking between his spikes. "You did a wonderful job, though. Not that I expected anything less from my best hunter, hm?"She stoops to lift up the Cherubi, nestling it back in its tree. It's the least she can do, to make sure a hungry Pokémon doesn't come along and decide it's on the menu. "Let's go and find the others, shall we? We can think of a name for our new teammate on the way." She runs her fingers over the lumpy surface of the new apricorn, feeling it grow slightly slick as a blue flush spreads over it. She takes in the forest with her eyes as she heads back toward the path, looking out to see what's become of the rest of the group. Perception (Where is everybody?): 16

Eli smiles at the Warforged, nodding. "I see you ran into your own feisty set of mon. I managed to talk a Natu into joining my team, but her flockmates took offense, and we ended up having to battle them." He displays the bracer and the three softly glowing stones set in it.

The Zigzagoon's accidental attack didn't seem to faze her, though her leg was certainly taking a beating. Once the Stunky was felled, Tarkuul sheathed her sword and turned to her new friend, kneeling down to check on it. "You all right?" She asked, noticing the damage done by the Stunky's attack earlier. "Seems you got banged up a bit...Here, hold still." Despite Tark likely being worse off, she pulled out a first aid kit from her bag and gently got to work, patching up the pokemon as best she could. Which, surprisingly, was actually pretty well. Tark heals Zigzagoon for 13hp. Also cures Burn, Paralysis, or Poison.

Tarkuul - The Zigzagoon jumps up at the healing and as you tend to it, you realise that some discolouration in it's fur is also fading, as if a latent poison is healing up too. It seems to smile and give you a little lick. It seems pretty happy. In the distance, you catch the end of a tree falling down and you can hear a fight going on. "Zagooooon." Cecily - You catch the sight of a tree falling down not far off, if your friends are anywhere, they're probably in that commotion. As you continue walking, you catch sight of Eli and Icarus. Eli - "Indeed, I've been fortuitous, although I do feel sorry for taking away such a creature from it's home, I can at least promise it an exciting life!" The Warforged draws closer, "Congratulations for your own capture! I hope the others have also been lucky"All - After a short while, you all manage to meet up again and share the details of your recently caught Pokemon. The walk back is fairly easy, Pokemon steering clear of the group of you, but you catch the sight of a few Natu circling around the air before disappearing into the sky. The Djinn and Centaur around Seer Heights Outpost greet you, and congratulate you on your new companions. Her Xatu pays particular close attention to Eli, moving it's head from side to side. The Djinn ushers you to head back to Pinecliffe as soon as possible, but also has a warning. "I've been watching you, and as such I have been unable to keep as much of an eye around the path as I would usually do. I mention this, for I cannot get a look at the goblins that you faced earlier. I would proceed with some caution. I will continue looking, but I can't help you to much of an extent if something were to appear."After anything else you'd like to say or do once you're at Seer Heights Outpost, you can go back along the path to Pinecliffe. 14 xp each to share out.

Eli looks slightly perturbed by all the attention he seems to be garnering from the local Natu, and especially the Djinn's Xatu. That look vanishes under a frown as she mentions not being able to see the Goblins they'd defeated on their way out here. "So either they somehow managed to get out of the range of your Eye in the time it took between us beating them unconscious and telling you about them... or something's shielding them from your view. That's... ominous either way really." He thinks for a long moment, then shrugs. "But at the moment worrying and over-analyzing such little information isn't going to help us any. We'll know to be wary on our way back at least though."

Cecily cocks her head as the Djinn explains the disappearance of the goblins. She doesn't know much about whatever restrictions Djinni Obelisks might have, but the goblins being out of her sight is definitely cause to be wary. "Hm. Well, we'll simply have to keep an eye out - no pun intended," she adds quickly, rubbing the back of her neck. That's not a native Libellan gesture, but it's something she's seen other races do when they're embarrassed. She's trying to be aware that not everyone is used to reading Libellan expressions.
She fingers the apricorn holding her newly-caught Poliwag. She's decided to call her Ebulliens - after all, she certainly seemed to toss a lot of bubbles around in their battle. Cecily hopes there won't be too much more trouble; much as she'd like to test out Ebulliens' capabilities, she doesn't want to throw the little tadpole into a battle before she has a chance to heal up. Then again, Draco and Praelia have certainly handled themselves well enough so far. "I'm sure we can handle whatever comes our way, between the four of us and our teams."

Tark had returned to the group, another Runestone added to her belt. The runic marking was colored a faint beige, though the Zigzagoon itself followed her, along with Karga. The two pokemon were yipping and yapping, and while the former still seemed jumpy, the latter was doing her best to make friends. She remained quiet as the others spoke, simply nodding at Cecily's statement and remaining thoughtful. The news of the goblins didn't seem to bother her at all, really.

The path winds back, you''re seeing the same trees you walked down previously but with that word of caution, Icarus has also brought out his Golett. Things are much quieter than the route there, even singing bird pokemon seem to have vanished. Glances at the trees reveal no Pokemon running along branches, or snoozing in the bushes. As the path continues, it becomes clear from such things as scorch marks along a tree, and minor cracks in the path, that this is where you fought the goblins. They are indeed missing, and more so, tree's seem to have shifted, as if pushed apart to make way. The underbrush has been crunched down.

Eli cautiously loosens his blade in its scabbard, and releases Prowl out. The Meowth takes one look around before his hackles rise and his pupils contract to thin slits, ready for battle. "This looks like the work of something big. Be ready." Both the half-dragon and the Meowth are on high-alert, looking about for any possible threats.

Anticipating trouble even if she hoped not to run into any, Cecily had called back Draco and released Praelia again. She was still uninjured, which was more than could be said for Draco after that last battle, and the fact that Croagunk as a species were slightly paranoid would work in their favor in looking out for trouble. As Icarus and Eli both confirmed the presence of something very large, Cecily started to look this way and that, doing her best to use her wide visual range to her advantage. "If it's that big, it can't cross the path very often, or we would have seen more signs of it. Right?"Cecily's Perception: 11 Praelia's Perception: 13

Tarkuul gave a passing glance around, though her focus was more on WHAT exactly came through. Perhaps its tracks and markings would enlighten her...The Zigzagoon whimpered and returned itself to her runestone, while Karga kept a closer eye(and nose) out for danger. Tark rolled an 8 for Perception, 14 for Survival, 11 for PokeEd(to go with Survival, probably). Karga rolled a 10 for Perception.
