Lia looks a little nervous when Kaeda brings up going back in.
"Ummm, why do you want to go back 'in'? Haven't we all collectively had enough of Mt Moon?

With everything ready to go, Kaeda and company head back down into the depths of Mt. Moon. Eventually, they reach the lowest point where Team Fleada had stopped. First on the agenda was to investigate the branching paths in the water.

After dealing with the Wooper Troopers, the party moves through the next few areas and is ambushed by a horribly familiar sight: a swarm of Crobat. Its unlikely these are the same Zubat as a month ago, but it's still not a pleasant sight. They stare at Lia hungrily.

Kaeda hugs, kisses her new Tsukiyomi. "Oh, sweetheart, I am sooo proud of you! You did so good! I love you!" As it is showered in praise, and kisses, the Amura nuzzles its trainer. It then lets out a loud cry, begins to glow, and grows to a huge size! As the light fades, a now much larger, and much more majestic creature stands where it once was. It cranes its large neck down, and its big head nuzzles Kaeda again. "Oh my gosh!! Look at you, sweetie! You're even more beautiful!" She hugs the huge dino.

Floyd smiles and glances at Falchion, grinning victoriously at the walking steel blades. He receives a victorious nod back before he recalls him then waits for Kaeda to be ready to move on.

Lia sighs a breath of relief as the last of the hungry Crobats are taken down, and looks over to the evolving dino.
"Shoot Kaeda, didn't you say that you 'just' caught it? Nicely done."

"I did, and I'm so proud of her!" After a few more minutes of fawning over her new pokemon. The group continues onwards!

Randomly, Kaeda finds a discarded Shock Collar just lying in the dirt. As she stares at it, strange thoughts run through her head and a very slight smirk spreads across her face as she glances sidelong at Lia. She deposits this newfound toy in her bag with the rest of her treasures gleaned from this foray into the depths of Mt. Moon.
As the party approaches the small dead-end cave at the end of the path, they hear a horrific screech. Floyd and Lia get very disturbing shivers running down their spines, but not due to the soul-rending cry that pierced their ears just now. Instead, they get a feeling similar to that of when Maxine's Cottonee tore open a portal to the Fairy World all those weeks ago. Somehow, some way, they just know that there is a portal to another world in the next room. A world that is far less friendly than the Realm of Faerie. With curiosity temporarily overriding fear, the trio cautiously advance. What they spot looks nothing like any Pokemon they've ever seen before. It's similar to that huge, black Sableye thing from Rock Tunnel in that it only barely resembles a recognizable Pokemon. In this case: Kabutops.

Kaeda recalls her pokemon, and supports Lia after the giant enemy is taken down. She lets out a sigh of relief, and looks to Lia. "Holy crap...We did it. I can see why you would hate caves so much. Hehe...You took some huge hits to protect me. Are you ok?"

Lia watches as the strange version of the pokemon vanishes, and a thought sticks in her brain. But nothing to worry about too much right now. She looks to Kaeda coming over to her.
"Your worried about me? You nearly got your head chopped off! You and Floyd!"
Lia sits to take a breather but looks over to Floyd.
"Floyd, everything ok over there? Need anything?"

Floyd tilts his head as the Kabutops fades away, disturbed by how similar it's appearance and actions had been to what he'd dismissed as deluded ramblings in the conspiracy books, pamphlets and websites he'd read.
He shakes his head a few seconds later and looks at Lia.
"I'm fine. Do you guys need potions or anything?"
He asks, glancing around for any further threats.
