After defeating the hostile Paras, Floyd and Kaeda make their way further in. In the next large area, with four identical standing stones, their electronics begin to go haywire, indicating a strong magnetic field nearby. After a bit of testing through use of his steel types, Floyd determines that a large rock in a small alcove is the source of it. Even Alisa the Eevee feels strangely drawn to it.

Kaeda watch Floyd, and his Eevee, do their work. She's quite interested in the pokemon, so once the fight is over, Kaeda pops one of her revives on the Charmeleon, and tries to capture it.

The territorial fire type is quickly brought low by Alisa's Double-Edge. It collapses to the ground, unconscious. Alisa chirps in triumph, and then suddenly gets this 1000-yard stare as its body begins to glow a familiar bright white. Wait a tick.. Eevee don't usually evolve just by growing in strength, let alone get drawn to magnetic fields. Is this.. an undiscovered evolution?! When the light fades, Alisa's coat has become metalline in appearance. Its cry sounds like metal grating on metal. |

KAeda captures her new pokemon, and admires Floyd's new evolution. She has never seen an Eevee become that, and is interested in what else it may do. She decideds to carry on with their journey deeper. She picks up an Xspecial item, and the TM OVerheat! They then approach some noise near the end of the path.

The noise turns out to be a bunch of floating sets of gears grinding together! It's a klink of Klang!

Upon seeing Alisa evolve, Floyd kneels down and tenderly pets his pokemon. It's amazing for him to see how far she's come from when he met her. She takes up her perch on his shoulder and his moves on with a smile, releasing Ossia to fight them.
Ossia targets the closest one with Aura Pulse

As you enter the next area of the cave, you are met with a terrifying sight: a horde of Tyrantrum! One of them notices your approach and alerts the others. This is probably going to be your toughest fight so far in the cave. Next to the hypnosis-spamming Gengar, of course.

Kaeda looks to Floyd after the tough battle is done. "Good job, Floyd. Oi, I'm out of pokemon, but this place almost seems cleared out. Want to head back up real quick, swap out, and come back in?"

Floyd thinks for a moment, looking over Esuri and Alisa with a careful eye.
"That seems best for the both of us. My team might still be soldiering on, but they're getting worn down and it'll happen much faster if you can't assist. Maybe Lia can tag along, assuming she's finished with work for the day."

"Yeah. Sounds like a plan. Let's get going." Kaeda, and Floyd, head back up the way they came, and out of the mountain. Kaeda's first order of business is to quickly hit the center to heal, and swap pokes. As she waits around in the center lobby, she calls Lia on her Dex. After some hard fights, seeing, and hearing, Lia would be a massive relief.

Lia, who's gotten a little bored waiting for the others to come back, almost seems to have fallen asleep. Her dex going off startles her awake, and she looks at it.

"Ok then. I'll see you then." Kaeda hangs, up, and tries to quickly squeeze in some shopping for healing items before Lia gets there. After that is done, she waits patiently for her girlfriend to arrive.

Lia gets to the center quickly, and sees Kaeda. She sees and waves before she sees the state of both of them. She goes and wraps her arm around Kaeda, gives her a smooch, and looks to them both.
"Everything alright guys? Did the mountain kick your asses?"

Kaeda returns smooches, and hugs. "Despite the state we are in, we actually accomplished quite a bit. Although my team, and I took most of the punishment. Floyd and his team are also ludicrously tough."

He says to Lia, having looked it up on the pokedex once it had reception again
