Kaeda applies a potion to Floyd, collects her broken great balls, and waits for him to recover. She sits on the ground, and rubs her aching shoulders. She did not expect things to go so bad, so quickly. The majority of her team, including herself, were injured, and she didn't even know how Floyd was doing.

Floyd wakes up and fights off a wince as a headache makes itself known. He isn't too sure what happened, but judging from Esuri and the conditions of Kaeda and Ligurio it wasn't good.
He sits up and recalls Ligurio, assessing Kaeda's injuries. She doesn't look much worse than him physically, but she's clearly taking it harder.
"You ok?"
He asks as he pulls out and uses a Hyper Potion on himself.

"Not really. That took fucking long, and everyone is super fucking hurt. I could maybe do one more of those, but after that, I gotta go..." She drinks one of her own potions.

Floyd blinks as he processes this.
"Will you need me to escort you back, or are you confident you can handle the upper level? Because I intend to push on.The Gengar were not something I was ready for, but that was because I was being lax and not expecting trouble down here. It own't happen again."
He says as he heals Fragor and Ligurio.

Kaeda sighs, and gets up. "I guess we'll see. And, if I need to leave, I can go on my own. Come on we got more to look at."

Not too far from the Dunsparce Conglomerate (as more of them seem to have gathered while you looked around), you spot a small ledge that leads down about 15 ft into a narrow chamber. At the bottom, you can see what looks kinda like a well at first glance, but turns out to simply be a vertical shaft. Peering down through it, you see water at the bottom, possibly an underground lake, about 50-60 ft below. A nasty-looking jump, but easily survivable if you jump properly (or bypassed if you have some way of securing a rope at the top to lower yourself down).

There is a path that seems to slope downward from this next chamber (point #10), but after following it for awhile, it turns out to have collapsed at some point in the past and is no longer traversable.

You come across a collection of odd boulders in the next area. Floyd's been around rock and steel pokemon enough to recognize graveler on sight, even in the gloom of this cave. They seem to be asleep right now.

Kaeda eyes the rocks. "Hmmm..." She moves in a bit closer, and tosses a ball to try, and catch one without it waking up.

This section of the cave also has a collapsed tunnel. Seems like just a natural cave in, likely caused by a tremor at some point in the past. Unlike the last one though, this on shows some signs of being worked on. Probably by local Pokemon stuck on the other side. Heck, that may have been what the graveler were doing here. There was one last section you hadn't checked yet, near a small underground stream, but it seems unlikely there is a regular tunnel to walk down to the final level. (Point #7 is still unexplored)

Kaeda takes a few moments to heal up her pokes, and returns to Point 8. She looks down the deep whole, and water at the bottom. She then looks to Floyd. "Welp. I'm ready to head down.You got a way to get down there safely?"

After a few minutes' work, Kaeda and Floyd manage to secure some ropes to a sturdy rock nearby. While one rope alone doesn't seem long enough, tying two lengths of rope together does the trick and you are able to shimmy down to the lake below, then easily swim over to the nearby patch of land to dry off.

After ringing out her clothes, and taking a quick look around, Kaeda was ready to move deeper. She didn't think she would need a swimsuit, but now she had to deal with soggy clothes for a bit. Surprisingly, she finds another colorful stone sticking out of the wall. She is able to pry it out, and after admiring her new treasure, the pair come into a chamber with a split path.

"Of course."
He says confidently, going down first and waiting for Kaeda to finish prying out the thunderstone.
"Shall we head on?"
He asks, pointing to the left path.

Lia lets the captain know about when they are most likely going to be needing him and agreeing to meet him here. She thanks him and heads back to the ranch, getting a little bit itchy that Kaeda and Floyd are still gone. She just sits on the bed with the dex next to her, starting to get a little worried.
