Adventure Thread - Group A

Floyd waves to the girls.

"Good luck."

He then heads to the gym, seeking to challenge the leader.

Lia smiles and waves at Floyd and follows Kaeda to the Bus Stop. She sees Kaeda having another staring contest with Orpheus, and then remembers it's not just staring.

Oh she's probably just explaining- OH CRAP

Lia realizes Scier has been balled for a LONG time, something she hates, and quickly releases her best friend. Scier pops out, chiming angrily at Lia, waving around her bell like she was trying to shake it off.

"Scier, I'm so sorry! It was for a good reason! Its just after we got back to the center... 'things' happened."

Lia looks sheepish, and Scier stops mid-chime, looking clearly confused. She chimes 'What things?'

"Well after Kaeda and got back... we needed some 'private time' to ourselves. I couldn't let you out cause it'd get a little weird. Ahhh, this is not helping. Hold on."

Lia scoots over to Kaeda, and takes her hand in hers. Lia exhales and looks back up at Scier.

"Kaeda and I are together now. Last night we realized we more than 'liked' each other and began a relationship."

Lia gives a kiss to Kaeda for emphasis. Scier is still for what seems like a long time, seemingly processing the information. Scier then quickly has the look of someone who's heart was broken in two. She begins to wail, and chime angrily once again at Lia, even whapping her trainer with her tassle. Lia tries (and fails) to get the tassle out of her face so she explain calmly.

"Pffffbleh! Scier, what do you mean 'How could I do this?', I didn't do anything to you besides keep you in the ball for a little bit longer than normal... ONCE! Huh? Wait, no! I'm not 'replacing you' with Kaeda, you goof! She and I are in a romantic relationship, you and I are best friends! They're different things! No, stop it with the tassle! AH!"

Lia finally drags Scier down, and puts the little bell-creature in a bear hug to prevent her from further interrupting Lia. She still squirms despite this.

"Ah, Scier when did you get so strong. Grrrr! No, don't say that, now! I'm not going to keep you balled every night from now on. Well yeah, you are right, we'll probably need more privacy but I don't ever want to keep you cooped up! We'll find a way around it! Kaeda shares the same kind of bond with Orpheus so she's probably coming up with ideas too! HEY, that was rude Scier!
You are supposed to be better than that! You've scolded me for talking that way to people! No, no, no! It's not because she's human and your a Chimecho! Yes she'll have my attention more. BUT WITH YOU AROUND! DONT! YOU! TRUST! ME!"

Lia looks at Kaeda with an expression that boils down to 'HELP ME!'

Lia looks back and forth as Kaeda stares at Scier for a moment.

"Oh wait Kaeda, don't-"

Too late. Scier manages to use Lia's distraction as a chance to jump out from her grasp, and floats over to Kaeda. She chimes in the tone of a stern mother scolding a child at Kaeda.

"I suppose I should have warned you a while ago, Scier has a 'thing' about telepathy. She thinks it's really rude to enter someone's mind like that without permission. She can do it herself but I've never seen her do it. She always just talks straight to me. Don't know why I'm the only one that can 'get' what she's saying but... Yeah she's just scolding you now. Sorry."

Scier seems to calm down for a moment and floats down with a smile, and puts one of her little stubs in Kaeda's hand.

"She says she's kinda glad you did though cause it's harder to lie to a telepath. She says you sound very sincere and believes you care about me. What gushy things did you say about me, anyway? So she's willing to a give it a shot but..."

Scier takes her other 'hand' and points it at her eyes, then points it at Kaeda.

"Yeah I think you got that one."

Scier nuzzles back, clearly not sad anymore. She floats back over to Lia's side, but not without a few more choice dings.

"Scier I do NOT need you watching out for me. There's no need to say that you'll 'beat her up' if she hurts me. I don't even think you'll be beating up anyone, look at your tiny arms."

Lia grabs Scier into a hug of her own.

"Trust me. I can take care of myself, silly. But I'm glad you understand now, I'd hate for you to be against this, as I really care for her."

Lia turns back toward her girlfriend.

"So... Orpheus take it well?"

Lia just sits and listens very carefully to Orpheus' speech, and smiles and giggles a bit when the Gardevoir leans against her head.

"Dawwwww. That's so sweet, Orpheus. I really hope I can live up to the crazy ideals you just said about me. Hell it sounds like you might have been the first one to see something between us. And trust me, I don't want any harm to come to her either, I don't want nothing to mess with this. Cause it's about the same for me, I've really never had anybody close like this either. So Orpheus, consider me your ally in protecting Kaeda."

Lia flexes one of her arms, and then looks down to Scier in her arms.

"Why couldn't you have been like Orpheus when we told you?"

Scier pouts at Lia.

"I'm kidding, dude, don't worry. Just given you crap for trying to make me eat your tassle or whatever it was you were trying to do. But you probably should go say hi to your new psychic sister."

Scier looks back and forth between the couple and Orpheus a few times before it clicks. With an excited look, she floats over to the Gardevoir, and tries giving her a hug too!

"I hope they do, or else we are in a bit of trouble."

Lia boards the bus and lets Kaeda rest her head on her shoulder. She gladly accepts the kisses.

"Oh yeah, I guess you don't wake up as early as I do normally. Although we are still a bit earlier to make it back on the bus rather than me flying on Avitus. Go ahead, just let me know if you get uncomfortable."

Lia lets Kaeda rest while she whips out her phone, trying to resist the urge to search for something on the back of her mind since last night, and instead looks into their boat trip. How much a boat would cost to rent that much plus crew to run it for that long, good food and supplies to bring along, equipment like scuba gear, and some places to start. Despite finding Los in Kanto, Carvanha and Sharpedo were originally from Hoenn, and Lia has a feeling Los' Mega stone might be in the vicinity.

-Later-

As the bus rolls to a close, Lia puts her dex away and tries to shake Kaeda awake.

"Rise and shine, Miss Starwood. Rise and shine."

Lia takes her hand, gives her another kiss, and does indeed lead the way. Once they get there, Lia stops at the desk.

"Hey can you do me a favor and let the boss know I need to ask her some stuff? Nothing time sensitive so it doesn't have to be now, but today if possible and she's not too busy, thanks."

With that done, Lia motions for Kaeda to follow her, and heads (a bit nervously) to where she got her swim suit the first time.

"Hey, uhhh I'm looking for something new for work. I've finally been pressured into doing a two-piece."

Lia thanks her and goes to look at the options.

"...Why are they all so small, damn."

Lia looks back at Kaeda.

"This is for you, babe, so you might want to weigh in here."
