Kaeda frowns at Lia moping around, but tilts her head at the suggestion. "You wanna go work all the way at Cinnabar? The leader seemed quite...dangerous, and it's so far away...." Kaeda's eyes go wide. "You want to challenge the league again?! What brought that up?"

Kaeda shifts around again. "Don't really have anywhere to go....Again...I'm sorry for how I acted. You know why I did, but I was upset at what happened. I never wanted you to feel worse than you did....Anything else from you?" She looks up at Lia. She's really hoping for an apology for what got said.

”Yeah, I overreacted, and I’m sorry, but how could I not? You didn’t even recognize me unlike seemingly everyone else, and you acted like you were in mourning when I was still in front of you. Alive. And clearly at least ok. Unharmed. I can get being freaked out and needing a minute but... you reacted so badly to it- to me. And that hurt more than anything I went through. So I’m sorry but you have to understand why I reacted that way.”

Kaeda gets up quickly, and walks over to her. "And what? That I don't know what love is? Do you know how hurtful that is to hear either? Nothing is more important to me than you." She takes Lia's hands. "I do love you. Always have, and always will. And I don't ever want to hear that again....Ok?"

I had been taken against my will, turned into a hybrid, and sat in a cell for days with no way of knowing if I’d ever get out! And once I did, I’m now in a position where I’m basically a pariah out there, and I get home and the love of my life reacts EXACTLY the way I feared... How am I supposed to feel?”
Lia stares long into Kaeda.
”If the situation was reversed, I wouldn’t care if you were hybrids with a Gloom. I would have hugged you and kissed you cause I missed you and was happy to have you back and alive. And tell me what was your reaction? Think about how I’m supposed to take that.”

Kaeda shakes her head and looks down in guilt. "I said I was sorry! The last thing I expected was for you to look like that! I'm sorry that I got so distraught, alright!? If you had come back with...no legs, or without a face, I would've reacted the same! Not because you weren't you, but because they hurt you, or changed you! Nothing is going to make me stop loving you!" Kaeda turns away to wipe her face, and take deep breaths. "....And, you're taking this whole hybrid situation better than I would ever."

Lia stares deadpan at Kaeda for a while. Y'know what, that's enough of an apology to move forward.
"You bet your ass I'm taking this better than you."
She holds Kaeda's head in her hands.
"And it's my body, you are not allowed to have issues with it if I'm not, ok? Now, this is to help you get over it faster."
Lia deeply kisses Kaeda until they run out of breath, then pulls her off. She opens her robe to expose her changed body (and Kaeda might notice something 'bigger' now), and grabs Kaeda's head and holds it right in her chest until Keada taps out for air. She then pushes Kaeda onto the bed and... turns around. And with a comical hair-flick, she heads out.
"Get used to the new Lia quick, then."
She leaves the room, but peaks back in for a second.
"And if I hear you EVER refer to me as your pokemon or your pet, I'm going to super-heat your crotch to one thousand degrees. Okay byyyyyyyeeee."
Now feeling a bit better, Lia goes off to train.

Kaeda's eyes go wide when she's brought in for a kiss. It had been way too long she had one of these. She also is quite surprised when she is mushed into Lia's bosom. What was once only a treat for one, now both parties could offer suffocation by chest beefers. Another was surprise was the fur, and body heat. It was very nice. Kaeda watches Lia exit as she stares from the bed. "Wowzers...."

When lunchtime came around Jane was still working, occupying most of the kitchen table. Hopefully someone had food-plans that didn't need too much space! She looked around, she was still alone; hopefully someone actually had food plans! "Hum-hmm. Maybe more pancakes..?"

"Yepp! Things." Jane stuck out her tongue as she teased Lia. Then she realized the poor foxy girl had probably endured far too much "things" lately. With a pang of guilt she switched topics. "Glad to hear you two are working out!"
"And I'm basically working these shards into useful shapes. They're magical you know... Oh that reminds me!" She grabbed her pack and dug around until she could find a Fire Stone. She held it up carefully for Lia to see, making sure not to accidentally touch her with it. "Do you think anything will happen if I were to poke you with it? Wanna find out? But you look fully evolved already ... Hmm. What if you started to carry around an Everstone..?"
