Just an aside to Maxine's battle, noticed Lance rolls sniper the old way. It's one of the changed abilities in the February packet. Should just be a straight extra 3d10

Which Route are you searching, Lance? Each route is a different habitat in this area. The city is Urban, Routes 24 and 25 are Forest, Route 4 leading to Mt. Moon is Mountain, Route 9 (east) is Mountain/Cave, and Route 5 (south) is Grassland.

With Lance's internet being down for an undetermined period of time (as stated by him in Great Pokedex Race OOC), and everyone else save Vince having finished their "day", you guys should think of some other random things to do. Whether IC or OOC, though non-canon. Just so that you aren't sitting on your hands waiting for the next day all the time.

I tried to RP as smart as I could to obtain some additional police help before pressing on just in case this is just a gauntlet series of battles, and that was basically denied. So if this is a series of mandatory battles and we're cut off from help and healing, what happens if the dice decide that we all lose? What do we do if we actually make it to the end and challenge this queen, but by then it's only, like, two of us left and we're easily beaten inside of a couple of rounds?

Half the party has Pathetic stealth. All guards have at least Novice Perception (archers obviously have higher). Additionally, there are magical alarms everywhere in the city that most of the party couldn't disarm without setting them off. As for the Queen, you really think I'm going to just throw you at her half-dead? Of course not. That wouldn't be fair to you at all. You have the first aid kit for patching up between fights, and there will be a "Dues Ex Heal Zone" right before you engage the Palace Guard (encounter just prior to the Queen). As to the "police support" issue, this was meant to be all about the party and their skills, not "the party plus a small army of cops". Even if I added cops into the mix, it wouldn't have made much difference. At most you would have 1 or 2 actually still with the party for each individual fight (any extras would be fighting off-screen). What is it exactly you want me to do? Let you sneak past everything in a hostile city that has just about everyone on the lookout for you? P.S. - I'm not upset that you're questioning things. You were obviously expecting something that I haven't done/given. Just tell me what, exactly, you were hoping to accomplish with 3/4 of the party not being particularly stealthy/deceptive. |
