Vault 316Prof. Skrub Overseer of Vault 316, your home Vault and the main reason you're out here risking your necks. Kind and patient, he's a monster of a man... and when his patience runs out he's not above using his physically imposing stature and musculature to get people back in line. Seems to have taken an especial interest in keeping Cecil from wasting his life. PurewaterCindy Trehan Wife of the mayor of Purewater, fashionista and self-proclaimed designer. Has an intense interest in recovering fashions of all types from the Wastes. Babies her Furfrou companion outrageously. Seems to have struck some kind of accord with Cecil. Leona Perks Acting as the secretary for Captain Emila Guitteriaz, seems to be a rather vicious person. Has an adversarial relationship with Kat. Emila Guitteriaz The Commander of the Purewater Guard. Honest and forthwright, she's a realist with a sentimental heart. Deals fairly and honestly with people provided that she's extended the same courtesy. Seems to have a soft spot for Kat. Bought pokemon off the group to bolster the Guard's arsenal. Has a dim view of Leona. Her main partner pokemon is an Emolga named Joules. Mahoney No known first name, Mahoney is the ancient crochety old man that runs Purewater's General Store. Stern and surprisingly commanding for such a small man, his knowledge of technology is practically unrivaled within the town, though he prefers using established gear and techniques as opposed to the Mayor's penchant for pushing the envelope and attempting to recreate some of the greatest works from the Old World from scratch. In his opinion, why reinvent the wheel? Billy Mahoney's clumsy but kindhearted assistant Scrimshaw Local historian equivalent, seems to know a little something about everything. Has a vast collection of pre-Cataclysym magazines, comics, newspapers and holotapes; and will occasionally exchange them for something of equal or greater value in trade. Has a Spinrak companion; and both he and the mon are probably more dangerous than they appear at first glance. Lucien Sleazy, businesslike and very much not a good man, he's the only pimp in Purewater, and as the only tail game in town he's allowed to stay as a necessary evil. Rumor has it that he's got his stable hooked on drugs, and with the rousting of the Ancients from town, he's their only source, keeping them loyal. Slane An eccentric living on the west edge of town, very good with machines, but is absolutely terrified of pokemon. He owns a strange metal Noctowl he refers to as Bubo and seems to be eternally arguing with. Put together a jalopy and loaned it to the party.

Factions Gene Children Leader: "The Hand of Arceus". Base of Operations: Unknown A fanatical cult that seems to worship pokerus as a manifestation of some kind of divine plan. Recruits subtly, and is known to kidnap people as well. Infects people with pokerus to attempt to force a genetic rewrite into a pokemon, they consider this some kind of ascension.
