Jasper does as he's told, running to fetch a screwdriver as Sandy wedges herself halfway through the door, turns up on her side and starts to kick at it with her back foot. There is a lot of squirming, and grunting, and a few angry puffs of warm sand. Her trainer seems more on top of things with her visibly getting agitated and quickly has the door apart. The Hippowdon hits the beach grasses and warm sand and immediately wedges herself into the loose grit, immediately mellowing with only her eyes and nostrils above the surface.
"..." Jasper looks between the back door and his Pokemon a few times, gears turning.

After helping place the door off to the side, Muku turns to look curiously at the large Pokémon that has somehow shifted itself under the sand. "Well. Least' we know now where she feels natural." She quips. Part of her understood the whole sand thing. Sometimes she liked to slap loose dirt and dust into her hair for nostalgia, but Chuck's wife wasn't particularly fond of the habit and kept asking her to shower for some reason.

Terra steps back once Jasper has the screwdriver and steps back in to help him set it to the side. Eyes following Sandy until she shimmies herself into the beachy ground. After that she walks over to the pokemon letting Jasper be with his thoughts. "Yeah, this definitely looks like its a lot more comfy than inside," she comments to the Hippowdon with a nod of certainty. A moment passes before she sits on the sand with a little distance between them, while looking towards the house they just came from. Personally when she was a pokemon she preferred harder surfaces, but now, with a softer skin. She can at least appreciate the choice of sand.

"What... what do we do now?" Jasper asked uncertainly, slowly edging closer to the Hippowdon as though afraid she might bite. Eventually he is close enough to take a knee and rub one of those cone-shaped ears. Sandy makes a low rumbling purr? Some sort of noise that is presumably either a growl or a pleased sound.

Cocking an eyebrow, Muku replies after a beat. "I don't know. She seems happy enough right now. The house just might be a home too small now that she's biggified." The young girl reached down to her own belt and hit the release button for Whoopie Goldsire. With the hippo now friend shaped, Muku wanted something to pet too. Sure, Goldsire wasn't dry, but you know? She was friend shaped. Friend shapes were good shapes.
"I can't imagine you want her to have to all the way out this way, but maybe we can make like, a sandpit next to the house? Something where she feels comfortable, so you can address her on her level, when she's ready to be taught."

"Might be better to make Sandy a permanent structure for outside. Because the house is small, and she clearly enjoys being able to bury herself," Terra agrees with Muku's comment about the sandpit near the house.
The girl stood up, letting out Snips. Could be useful, after all the pokedex said that Hippowdon have some sort of relationship with Dwebble. "Can make a pit, and then some kind of cover shelter. For rain," Terra adds. She didn't know if Sandy would like rain, but a simple kind of shelter couldn't hurt.

"I'm sure Sandy wouldn't have any real trouble making a sandpit for herself with a little instruction... She makes earthquakes and sandstorms for fun sometimes. Thankfully never in the house.". Jasper visibly sweat at the notion
"We would just need to bring in some rocks to make a makeshift cave maybe, with like... A sandy floor. That would keep enough water off her to keep her happy I think."

"I think it would be good training for Goldsire to work on the pit." Muku adds, patting the loveable bunch of friendly screams on the head. "Just point me out a place, and we'll start digging out a bit of a subterranean thing."

"Ok, you take care of pit then. I'll help with the rocks and Queen can help too," Terra states releasing the blue pokemon. Snips would be left with Sandy for company. "Where's the closest spot around here to get some decent sized ones?" she asks Jasper since he knew the area better. An arm being stretched as she warmed up.

"Well... Ideally ten meters or so from the house.". Jasper marked out a sizeable space with his foot in the dirt. "Soil is only a bit sand here though, it will take some doing to make a pit big enough. As for rocks, once you hit the cliffs along the edges of Cianwood they are everywhere.
(I need Terra and Queen's Power stats, Quagsire's Power Stat, and an athletics from both groups. Terra may assist Queen's check for half her rank as a bonus.)

"Ok. Leave it to us." Muku replies with a nod. Whoopie wasn't particularly strong, but maybe, maybe they could make it work. She wasn't going to have to do it alone at any rate; Muku would just have to help out too! "Let's start by softening the ground a bit. Then we dig. Dig, dig, dig!"Muku Atheletics! "Okay, that sounds pretty easy to handle. Let's get to it," Terra told the pokemon by her side. Heading towards the cliffside where the rocks should be. The two working together to get the structure pieces they needed. This was something that they could handle surely. Terra Power: 6 Queen Power: 5
Terra's Athletics: 22 Queen's assisted Athletics: 16

Whoopie sadly is an exercise in frustration. While she can till the soil, it is a sandy muddy mess by the end of it. It will likely take some time to dry but should be serviceable in time. The drainage waterside is acceptable, by the time Terra has the rocks in position the grit is only damp to the touch. The Larvitar and her Pokemon move some impressive sized boulders together from the cliffs near Cianwood, and form a small cave for Sandy to call her own. With little coaxing, the Hippowdon plods over, red eyes softening and a clear tired expression overcoming her. Wading into the darkness, there is a soft shush of sand, and a contented rumble. Jasper seems beside himself with tears.
"She's back... my precious girl has woken up at last... oh I can't thank you girls enough." He covers his mouth.

Boulders moved and rearranged, Terra wiped her brow with her the back of her arm. A proud look on her face before giving the Nidorina a job well done back pat. "Thank you girl," she adds with a nod. A few moments pass as she watches the new 'cave'. Before turning her attention back to Jasper at his thanks.
"We couldn't let a pokemon cause trouble when there was a reason behind them behaving that way," Terra states in a flat tone. "I don't know what all Muku did for you, but don't slack just because we helped make her a shelter. She's still a strong pokemon," she comments in a calm manner.
"So, the paper said you were going to pay for the help, right?" Terra asked with a tilt of her head to the side.

"We helped. I don't think Whoopie is all that good at digging, but she is very good at being good, and I think that's all that counts at the end of the day. And... Maybe you should go talk to Nurse Joy. I've heard she's good at throwing people, and throwing people builds confidence. So I suggest that."
With that problem solved, Muku turns her attention back to the thing that every human needs. Money.
"We do accept payment, I think. Money is the stuff that lets you buy things, right?" She pauses to think. That was a stupid question, even for her. "Yeah no. Money is the thing that lets you buy things. Is it enough to buy a fish thing? Cause I think we're looking to do the fish thing next."

"It did... And you have given me everything I asked for and more... Here, you've earned it.". Jasper gives Terra and Muku more money then they have ever seen, each, before he scurries into Sandy's new home and starts lavishing her with ear rubs and kissy noises. Some things will never change.
Muku and Terra are given 10,000 Pyen each.

Muku stares at the strange mating behavior between Sandy and her trainer. Not too long. Just long enough to know that it was weird and not something she wanted to be party to right now. "We should... Go. I think. Give them privacy?"
She fans the money in front of her face extravagantly. "This is a lot. Probably more than when I got my bike pad things. You said fishing next right? Maybe if you don't have enough to buy something good, I can give some of it away. I don't need much money right now and that's ok."
The bird girl tosses her hands behind her head and smiles absently. "Besides, if I want to fish, I can use my hand talons. That's how a real bird does it! You just wait till they go leap, and then you K'CHAAA! That, that, or maybe I can find the bigger sea Pidgeys and beat them up for fish. They can store a lot of fish in their mouth! Which is weird. And I don't like it! Stupid sea Pidgeys..."

Terra didn't fully understand the super, how did they put it again? Cutesy show of affection between trainer and pokemon. However she had no interest in staying either. A nod in agreement to vacate the area quickly.
With Muku by her side, she'd start leaving the area, counting the Pyen that they were given with a surprised expression. Though considering the labor they put in. Not a bad payment, as far as she knew anyway.
"Oh.Yeah, that would be great. I saw a really fancy rod while we were leaving. I could give you my other band we got from the Fight Group," Terra offers, digging into her bag with one hand and pulling the Sash out. "Or just say I owe you something shiny in the future?" she adds in case the sash wasn't tempting. Birds liked shiny things right?

“Later shiny is better than now shiny I think.” Muku replies. “I don’t know. If you find any nice sticks, I think that would be good enough?”
She pauses. Did she still like sticks? No. No she did not. “Ok. Maybe not sticks. I don’t need nest.”

Arriving at the local bait and tackle, it isn't a long affair for Terra to pick out what she wants in a fine rod. Sturdy, flexible, powerful! Built to endure the strongest foodstuffs in a struggle!
"Byway you're holding that, seems you ain't used a pole before." The shopkeep, a weathered man with a prominent jaw, little hair that wasn't on his ears, wearing a flat cap and a vest commented over the counter. "First time going out?"
