"It... should hopefully be quick," Rainbow says, glancing at Yellow. "I... would hope, at least."
"I can't promise anything until I know what I'm dealing with," the girl shrugs. "You might have to end up doing things. I don't know." She grins. "I've never done this before, after all."

"That makes three of us then, it'll be an adventure." Bee couldn't help but giggle a little. "Though I hope this theory of immutable time doesn't make my absence problematic in some way, should we not make it back for whatever reason." There was a pause and she held her hands up defensively. "Not saying it won't be fine I just!... Okay, I'm overthinking it... haha... let's get some rest alright?"

"I mean... if you disappeared and never came back, but you were supposed to," Rainbow says, solemnly, "someone else would just... take your place and do the things that you would have done. That's how that works. I... think, at least. It's what I feel."
"But I'm sure you won't have to deal with that," she says, with a tone that sounds like she's trying to be reassuring. "You'll do the things that you can do, and only you can do them!"

"I mean, if everything is predestined before a certain point in history, then I have already done everything there is to do here, and I've no regrets beyond that." Bee shrugged amiably and gave Rainbow's shoulder a squeeze. "Solenoid, let's go for a walk. I have an opportunity to propose for you." Glancing back at Yellow and Rainbow. "I'll meet you at the center tonight? I just need a little time alone."

"Alright," Rainbow says, nodding. "I'll just stay here, look over the ocean. Stay safe."
So Bea walks off, Solenoid in tow, with the Magnezone giving her inquisitive glances.

"So, in my travels I have encountered a lot of creatures that are more then me, or you. My observations of these beings suggest that they are both like me, and like you. I've yet to prove how much of a Pokemon remains in this exchange. More recently, we made the decision to press onward into a place and time that no one on this world will see in their lifetimes, but there is a caveat. I won't survive there, not without... joining my body and mind with yours. I don't know what the end product will be, beyond certain controls, but we will lose our independence from each other. Is that something you're okay with?"

The floating disc seems to ponder, gently bobbing up and down, not taking its eyes off of Bea. It's, understandably, not an easy decision. There does seem to be an innate curiosity that she's found, though. A question of breaking boundaries. It was willing to travel so far outside of its comfort zone simply to the place where she'd met it.
So, it does seem to be something rather obvious when it does lower, and it gently nudges her, humming.

"Then we'll be learning together, everafter... soon." She stroked the back of her hand along the shining surface, her slightly distorted reflection relieved. "I will explain more over the coming days, but once everyone has recovered, we've a challenge, and then our incursion into an event so distant I couldn't have conceived it." With their talk over, she walks with him to the center, not tucking him away until it's time to go inside and to bed for the night.

Neither Rainbow nor Yellow are back at the Center when she gets back. Presumably they've decided to stay out until the sunset, to watch that sink below the horizon, tinging the sky red and orange. Since it's only once the sun has descended that that the pair return.
"That was... good," Rainbow says, before asking, "Did you work out everything you needed to, Bee? What're we going to do tomorrow?"

"Day of rest, maybe check up on our project at the lab. Day after I'll challenge the final gym here in Mossdeep, another day of rest, Solenoid trusts me in our joint research pursuits going forward so... the day after that I think. A little time to get my bearings, then our jaunt. I'll get some supplies together so we don't need to leave when that time comes."

"I imagine that it's... probably best to limit our entry and exit into that place, else the, uh, back room gets discovered. In fact," Rainbow says, "It's occurring to me now that... we probably want to make sure that we're not seen going in whenever we want to depart. Because, regardless if we make it back or not... well, if we do, it'll look like you've changed. If we don't... it'll look like we never came out."
In the morning, Bea finds that there's a message from Evelyn, asking if she's found what she needed - clearly she was informed they were there.

"I don't suppose making a stealthy entry is going to be easy, the rangers are trained to spot entry and their entire purpose is to ensure that we don't gain access. It might be prudent to rely on yellows abilities to enter unnoticed, as I've never attempted to be subtle in my life." She laughed softly and scratched the back of her head. "That definitely runs in the family."
"We did, thank you." She replies to Evelyn. "Challenging the final gym in the league tomorrow, and making final preparations after that, been really busy. All my best to you, appreciate you checking in."

It does sound like Yellow could probably help them get inside surreptitiously... but perhaps not entirely guaranteed.
"That's good," Evelyn replies. "Hopefully everything works out. Rooting for you."
"So," Yellow asks. "What last misadventures are you planning to get up to today?"

Beatrice considered yellow for a long moment, then the sky, a grin spreading across her face. "I wish you would surprise me." She replies in good humor. "Otherwise our last day of carefree fun is going to get wasted on worrying and preparing."

"I don't do creativity, Beatrice," Yellow says, grinning. She shakes her head in mock disgust. "And, really, you need to be careful with that sort of thing. Being carried off by a giant bird would be a surprise, eh?"
"How about we go to, uh... the Space Center?" Rainbow suggests, a little hesitantly. "It sounds like a place of knowledge and stuff… I'd like to see what it once was. And learn about what's in there."

"Anything but heights please, I'm begging you." Bee laughed in spite of herself. "Yeah, let's go look around the space center and learn about rockets. I'll explain what I can, but if there's a tour, I imagine they already have things well in hand. Rainbow's becoming a regular history buff after our excursion in Sootopolis." She teased gently. "That or just... a little homesick, which I can get."

"Maybe a little of both," she says, quietly, before laughing it off.
It's a trek and a half just to get up to the Space Center (at least without a Pokémon or vehicle), but the view is certainly worth it, if nothing else. It gives a great vantage point of the whole island (even if some parts are... rather far away), and a lot of the surrounding ocean. The Center itself is fairly imposing, what with a sturdy construction, various sensor equipment, and the rocket pad far off in the distance, in a huge cordoned off area.
While the upper levels of the place are off limits, the lower levels have huge models of the solar system, star charts, information about various astral phenomena, different kinds of rockets, and more. Rainbow tends to look more at the visuals of things, a good chunk of the terminology being beyond what she's used to. But, she seems to enjoy her self, just seeing a bunch of things that the concepts and research of just... don't really exist in her time.

Beatrice takes in what she can, some of the displays are very basic, but the higher concepts and forces explained push the limits of her understanding on physics. Thankfully, most of the displays are marketed towards a target tourist audience and are fairly easy to understand. She's particularly interested in the footpounds of thrust details in the rocket model, as chemically the value is very impressive, as well as the use of C02 scrubbers to cycle the air in the cabin, the preservatives used in the astronaut's food, and other things relevant to her field of expertise. The day is a pleasant one, all in all. The view IS pleasant, but only so long as she keeps her head tilted up and surveys the horizon. A pleasant distraction and a moment of truly taking in what is, before seeing what will be.

And with that, the day begins to close. Descending back into the city, a nice meal is had, and rest is obtained; what precious can be grasped of it, at least.
And then comes the beginning of the reckoning. The challenging of the final Gym. It may not matter in the long run... but it's also journey's end. It will mark the closing of a chapter.
And so, food had and Training all done... the Gym. It's build at the foot of the mountain, overlooking the ocean. It seems like there are a lot of offshore wind turbines near it, and the Gym seems to match that smooth white plastic aesthetic.
Going inside, there are many pillars glowing with throbbing blue electricity, casting an eerie glow about the place, in contrast with the bright white ceiling lights. There's not so much a reception area as an automatic door with two lights above - a green lit one, and what looks to be a red one.
Stepping inside - Rainbow going up to the observation annex, and Yellow having disappeared as per usual - standing across from Bea on an arena is a blond, bespectacled man in lab attire strikingly similar to the ones that she owns. "Welcome, Beatrice LaBrasta," he says. "I am Jules, the leader of Mossdeep. I was hoping that it would not be long for you to arrive. Talk of being able to go all-out, and of being the last test a challenger will face?" His bright blue eyes gaze over her, and he grins. "Well, it gets the blood pumping as much as the first tests of a system do. We all look forwards to this. I might have the privilege of getting to do more than most... but all that means is that you'll need to work harder to impress me."
Jules tosses a Pokéball up into the air, before catching it. "Does the beat of battle echo within you, Challenger? Is this something that you really feel? Because you will never accomplish great things without drive. You have come this far, but do you truly want to reach the end?" He stands, waiting for an answer, eyebrow raised.

"There should never be an end to the tests we place on ourselves, to improvement, learning, and growth. I don't want to reach an end, I want to find my next beginning. Another, and another after each end in sequence, forever." Beatrice answered with a stoic placidity today, not perhaps the dynamo reaction Jules might have been looking for, but her heart was in the challenge, even if it might be in passing. Solenoid had been left to rest, it would not do having him badly injured. She regretted having Nomus along, just a little. He would struggle here.
