And... it's down!
(120 poke xp)
After the fight is over, the steam clears, and Svetlana finds another radio source box. But there's something hanging off of it on a keychain. Looks like a card with two pokemon battling on it. Flipping it over, it says that only one card is needed to unlock the 'secret exit' out of the station. But the more cards you get, the easier the end fight will be, and finding them all gets you a special 'prize' from the leader!

Svetlana is pleased with her Pokemon's strength. Yes, she knew it could do it, but taking the Wartortle out of the fight early on proved invaluable. She picks up the card and places it in her bag. Next stop: one of the other locations. Since it was closer, head to the north-east position next. If the opportunity arises to gain advantages by simply collecting more tokens, why not take it?

She heads off and then finds herself staring at a smaller train track with a controllable split. One side seems to be be blank, while the other seems to have five pokedolls tied along the tracks. Svetlana's radio crackles to life with that woman's voice again.
"Hey kiddos! So you may have seen this moral dillemma before, but never like this! You know what it is, make a choice, is it better to sacrafice one for many, blah blah blah. But who ever considers the person who tied all those people to the track!? What was their mindset, huh? WELL ITS TIME TO FIND OUT!"
Spot lights turn on to the two sections of track, revealing holes in the floor of the blank one. There's also a spotlight on a hand switch for the main track to switch between the two.
"Well if you came here on your own... well your choice is obvious, isn't it?"
She cackles.
"But if you didn't come here alone well... A life of any true ner-do-well doesn't need friends! They sacrifice anything for their goals!"
Cue evil laugh and dramatic musical sting.

Well, normally this exercise is a moral dilemma. "Who do you sacrifice? One or many? X or Y?" Right now though, it seems to be trying to suggest that there is no choice for the moral high ground. You just make it so the train falls into the hole, right? Well, Svetlana decides to select option C: send Gengar to go find the train and, in the meantime, remove the poke dolls from the track.

As Svetlana starts freeing the pokedolls, she hears a train signal in the distance, and a headlight lights up in the dark tunnel ahead. Currently the track is pointing straight at the middle, and it will derail with the current setting. So... Svetlana is left with the question of to let it derail or choose one of two empty paths?

Well, looks like Gengar didn't need to find the train. It found them. As such, Svetlana nudges the lever to set the train on a proper path. The entire point of her actions was to prevent derailing in the first place, so...

Which path?
YUPaXPy81d2
The track switches to what 'was' the one with the dolls, and the train light starts coming in closer! Actually, now that she's looking... it's actually pretty small? Now that she thinks about it, the track isn't that big either. When it gets close, it is indeed a small what looks like a kids train. It slows to a stop, right before where the pokedolls were sitting. The wheels are actually spherical, which is strange, but it makes more sense when magnets flip out to the sides. It's powered by Magnemite! Their eyes scan and find the 'hostages' taken off of the track. There's an angry toot of the train before the radio crackles back up.
"Looks we have some goody-two shoes here! Well guess what Miss: The restraints are magnetic!"
The magnets of the train whirr to life, and the pokedolls are sucked up and stick right to the Magnemite, and then it hovers and flips around and starts chugging away! Another spotlight shines on the other side, and there's what looks like a small electric train cart. Time to catch a train!1d2

Well, clearly they intend for Svetlana to chase the train. She executes Plan D. Palossand appears on the tracks in front of the train to block it/force it to rise again, and Braixen is on hand to snipe the Magnemite out of the sky when they float up.
As a contingency, Svetlana has Gengar ready to "rescue" the "prisoners" when the Magnemite are distracted.

As the chase begins, it's clear that the train is functioning via five Magnemite. Four wheels and a 'conductor' sitting on top of the main cart. Svetlana's plan does seem to slow it down, as Palossand ends up in front of it, forcing it to levitate over, slowing it down, and also forcing two of the Magnemite to have to concentrate on it. Svetlana's cart ends up basically within jumping distance of it and keeping pace. Her two pokemon can now be at the ready.
Train Magnemite - 5
This is treated as a double battle for Svetlana, with the option of using her own or her pokemon's actions to 'save' the hostages. It'll require some contested skill rolls to get off.

Palossand sits there to continue to be blocking terrain as much as possible. Meanwhile, Braixen starts firing jets of flame at the conductor Magnemite. While they are distracted trying to avoid the flames, Gengar invisibly drifts closer to snag the first hostage.
Thanks to Invisibility, Gengar is unseen. Due to Dead Silient, it is unheard. The ghost gets in close, then attempts to snag one of the hostages and get away.

The conductor Magnemite gets blasted and ends up falling off as both you and the train go by. Oppossed: GIGJkXZT3d6One of the Magnemite sees the Gengar too late, and tries to manuever the hostage around so the ghostie can't get it but Gengar is just too quick. Hostage 1/4 saved! A quick command from Svetlana, and the loss of one Light Screen has Braixen manage to stay in the fight a bit longer. (Pain Resistance) Svetlana applies a Super Potion to Braixen while Gengar gets another hostage back. As the rattling train car makes it difficult to apply potions, Braixen has to hold still, sacrificing another attack attempt.

Gengar sends a small wave of ghostly energy out to disable the first one as it breaks the last Light Screen, then goes to rescue another hostage. Braixen blasts one of the magnemite wheels with fiyah.

The last hostage is saved, and Svetlana hits the brake as the damaged Magne-train takes off into the dark station. Svetlana inspects the 'hostages', and one of them has a note:
'Thanks for saving me, goody-two-shoes! As a reward, you can take me (and the next card), with you!'
And under the note is the next card, depicting a train. Looks like that's two down!
(Saved Hostage is a held item for humans/pokemon. Once daily, you can use it to stop a single target attack (damaging or status) as a free action.)

As Svetlana heads along the final path, she finds that the console of the third one is on the floor, partially trashed. That doesn't seem right...
Regardless, there's a few of the cards this was supposed to spit out sprawled out along the floor. Guess whatever this one was supposed to be is out of order for now.

Svetlana shrugs, picking up the card. Oh well, more strength saved for later then. Onward to the next section!
