The Meditite seems reluctant to accept the medicine for a moment, but slight shift in her position followed by a wince makes a seemingly change her mind, and she allows you to heal her. Although she doesn't show any outward sign of relief, she does nod at you slightly. "Tite." She then continues her meditation, still ignoring the others.

Vess watches the pokemon sharpening their claws with mild interest, releasing Citadel from his pokeball, seeing if either of the mons have any reaction to Citadel, arms crossed, not aggressively, just watching.

Jean-Marie follows Vess' lead and releases Cheri, who squawks loudly at being released before glaring down the moles and puffing up her feathers.

Benji sighs in relief when both pokémon look fine. "Well, I'm glad everyone's ok," he says, scratching behind Yash's ear. "This has been... fun, I guess?" he says dubiously, to which Yash immediately agrees. "But I do want to keep exploring the mines before we had back."He slowly stands up, placing Yash on his shoulders. "Say..." he starts speaking calmly. "Would any of you like to come with us?" He asks nonchalantly, as if it was a natural question. "It would be nice to have someone who actually knows their way around this place. Oh, and maybe you'd want to come when we leave as well!" he pretends to have just thought of that. "There are lots of strong pokémon out there, after all, and we do have a daily sparring routine with everyone. It's a lot less brutal, but we get the training in..." he continues speaking, not really staring at the pokémon directly but noticing their reactions in the corner of his vision. Actions: Not sure if Benji actually needs to roll something here, but he is trying to convince either pokémon to join them and seeing if they are interested. Benji has Mystic Senses, if it matters. Robin snorts a small chuckle as he smiles. "Well, ask a bonehead question, I guess. Still, figured it couldn't hurt to say hi. See if you needed anything - a hand, bit of company, a snack, you know."
As he says that, he steps back, making sure they're not looking at him when he surreptitiously hands Jean-Marie one of the small sandwiches he'd prepared at the centre, shooting her a quick wink as he does

Benji and Orianne
The Machop tilts his head at Benji's question, trying to work his way through his phrasing, before finally shrugging and nodding, smiling. The Meditite doesn't react, and from what Benji can tell (both supernaturally and instinctively) she is ignoring everyone around her.
Jean-Marie, Robin, and Vess
The Drilbur's eyes snap to focus on Citadel's hard, metallic shell, as it clenches and releases its claws. When Cheri is released, however, both of the ground types startle, their attention focused on the potential predator, the Drilbur raising its claws in defiance and the Sandshrew almost toppling over as it takes a more defensive stance. When Cheri doesn't seem to be aggressive, they both seem to calm down slightly, the Drilbur going back to staring at Citadel, slowly moving closer to the spike ball, and the Sandshrew carefully tracking the sandwich Robin is handing Jean-Marie.

Well, one is better than none. "Fantastic!" Benjis says, clapping his hands. "I think your friend there isn't interested, but I am glad you decided to join us." He stands in front of the machop with a smile.
"These are Orianne and Sapphire," he says, pointing towards the girl and her meowth, "Yash, who you've already met," to which the yungoos answers with a grunt. "And I am Benji! It's nice meeting you," he says finally, extending a hand for the machop to shake.
"Shall we get going?"

The Machop grins. "Machop!" He looks at Benji's hands a bit confused for a few moments, before shaking it, somewhat hesitantly. After that, he just stands there, unsure, seemingly waiting for something.

"If your friend comes with, you'll be all alone. Will you be ok?"
Ori looked down to the meditite that had pretty much ignored them all since it's loss.
"You could come too. You don't have to come with us after, but being alone in the caves doesn't sound very pleasant."

Benji shakes the machop hand enthusiastically, grinning. He then turns around to head back into the mines before noticing the pokémon doesn't move, apparently expecting something. Maybe... "Oh, I'm sorry," he says with a soft smile. "Are you...? I mean, I was gonna ask later, of course, but Yash was apprehensive when I first offered him, so I didn't want to scare you," He talks as he fumbles for something in his bag, before taking the pokéball he dropped earlier.
"Is this what you're waiting for?" he offers a bit unsurely.

The Machop grins, nods, and taps the button on the Pokéball, the red light quickly absorbing him and the device catching him.
The Meditite nods curtly at Ori's question, having figured out that ignoring the girl isn't going to help much. She remains still for a while after Orianne's offer, and you begin to think she's ignoring you again, when she sighs, shrugs, and - still somewhat stiffly - gets up. Nodding once at Orianne, she then walks quietly over to Benji, staring at him for a few moments, before nodding again and heading to the tunnel, waiting at the exit of the small cave for the two of you.

Vess watches the Drilburr approach Citadel, raising a brow. She kneels down next to her grumpy plant friend. "You like sharp or hard things? Can sharpen your claws pretty well on Citadel's shell if you do it right."

Citadel looks annoyed at Vess's offer, but doesn't protest too much and simply sits there. The Drilbur, meanwhile, seems a bit surprised by her words, but still takes a more aggressive stance, lashing out with one of its claws, striking at Citadel's steel shell. Citadel's spikes instinctively flare out as it sees the claws come at him, but he holds them in so as to not hurt the molemon, and as the attack bounces near harmlessly off, her seems to relax a bit further. Oh. This thing is inferior to his metal shell. Heh.
Vess gives Citadel a little pat on the head after the claws bounce off, looking back to the Drilburr. "See? Tough. Could help you get tougher... or sharper, I suppose. If you want."

The Drilbur seems contemplative for a moment, considering Vess's words, and what they imply. It looks back at the Sandshrew for a moment, slowly approaching Jean-Marie, before looking back at Vess, nodding decisively and holding a claw out towards her.

Vess takes a moment, blinking. Do pokemon understand the concept of handshakes? Still, she shakes the claws with a nod, pulling out a pokeball for it to enter whenever it feels like it.

The Drilbur nods, and taps the Pokéball with its claw, quickly becoming engulfed in red light, the device successfully catching it.

Jean-Marie kneels, getting down closer to eye-level with the moles.
"Here you go, buddy! There are more where that came from if you tag along with us. You can be with your Drillbud friend too." She holds the sandwich out toward the Sandshrew with one hand. Cheri puffs up a little bit in envy, squawking in protest.

The Sandshrew carefully reaches for the offered sandwich, but flinches back when Cheri squawks, the predatory bird still unnerving it.

Benji tries not to giggle as the machop is captured, mostly because Orianne is nearby. He does grin, though, and then immediately releases the machop back.
"Hello back!" he says with a smile. "I wasn't kidding, we really could use a guide down here. Besides," he says, pretending to whisper but not really speaking any lower. "your friend might be more comfortable if you're around," he says, winking at his new pokémon.
As they move back towards the main tunnel, he keeps talking to the machop. "Now, as tradition, I think it will be good for you to have a name. I'm not sure you have one already that you can share," he says, pausing for a second to see if the pokémon reacts, "but the first thing I thought when I saw you is 'Maha'. It means 'strength' in my people's language, which is fitting, right?" He says, awkwardly putting his hand on the machop's shoulder. He doesn't know if petting its head would be appropriate, as it really looks more... human.
"So, is that ok if I call you Maha?"
