"History capsule?" Rainbow asks. "It contains history. It has nothing to do with time! All very misleading," she says, laughing."

"Alright then, History Capsule." Bee shakes her head with a smile. "Still, it is sounding like I've reason to go to Mount Pyre, Sootopolis, the Mossdeep Space Center, possibly Sky Pillar as well. I still haven't gotten the materials together for the capsule. Acid free paper and inks, or data storage that will carry through the ages. The library in Sootopolis would also give me a wide knowledge base to draw from while compiling everything. I suspect it will be long weeks of work." She tilts her head and considers. "The only thing I really ever knew about Mt. Pyre is it was used as a burial site."

"That's... a lot of places," Rainbow says, giggling. "Sounds like you'll be kept busy, running around. And I'll be bumbling along beside."
And with that, the pair bumble along towards Fortree, Yellow meeting back up with them as they leave the Weather Institute area. It's not that long, unfortunately, before they have to camp for the night, but nothing really disturbs them, and Fortree ends up not being that far away.
Though, it really comes upon them quite abruptly. As there aren't any buildings recognizable as proper houses, or anything... everything's built upon, or into, or between giant trees, stretching into the sky. At the edge of the city limits, there are wooden stairs winding up trees, or ladders climbing up them... or, for the more adventurous, some rope ladders climbing up to lower branches.
Very few buildings go down to the ground floor, the Pokémon Center near the outskirts being one of them. It, in a rarity, does not share the exterior of all other Centers, instead just going for a wooden sign announcing its presence… but inside is exactly like the others, at least on the ground floor. Spiraling upwards are much more natural looking rooms, open with large windows to the branches and atmosphere outside, as well as exits to go further into the treetop city.
Rainbow looks to be in love with the place, staring around in amazement. "Oh, man... this reminds me so much of home. Buildings in tune with and emulating nature. And also just the lush, fresh greenness around, that makes it even better..."
Unfortunately, while everything certainly looks and feels sturdy and well-constructed enough, it does start to get a little bit high...

"Nostalgia is good." Her friend replies, back against the trunk of a tree, not willing to risk the railing yet. "It's nice to look at the trees from the ground, I wish the reverse was true." She stated with a quiver in her voice. "Gym number Six is here in Fortree, and I can't disappoint my friends after their grand showing. Couldn't hurt to make a day of wandering the wood, getting Cumulus some fresh air and exercise, and seeing what sort of Pokemon are common around here."

"You... sure?" Rainbow asks, squinting. "You don't sound alright... do you want to just... stay here and relax, or something? Because you didn't much like being really high flying on the Dragon, either. So I don't want to push you to do something you aren't comfortable with..."

"It won't get any easier by waiting, that isn't how fear works." Bee replied, still flush against the trunk, pale and visibly sweating. "It's safe-ish, and I know it is, and you are here too." She swallows. "Everything starts to spin when I see how high..."
Closing her eyes, she sank to a sitting position and drew her knees in against her chest. The usually chatty scholar fell silent. The dizziness coupled with the knowledge that there would be no saving her in the event of a fall redoubled the tightness in her chest and it was all she could do to ground herself.

Rainbow reaches down a hand to Bea, giving a smile. "Here. I'll be right beside you if you want to try. If not, though, I'll help you get inside."

Watching that outstretched hand over the tops of her knees, the trainer let out a long, slow, shaky exhale before gripping the offered hand. Easing herself back to her feet, the strength of her hold on Rainbow's hand was firm enough to be uncomfortable. Knuckles white, she kept her eyes on the tree. "L...let's go back inside. We can try something different tomorrow."

"Alright," she says, nodding. There's not a lot of strength behind Rainbow's pull, though the girl is clearly trying her best to help Bea up. "We can get settled in the Center. Looks like the rooms are private, you'll be able to relax there."
Indeed, there are single and paired rooms. Yellow seems to mostly be content with having parked herself in the lobby (and, really, who knows if she ever actually slept), so it's a comfy fit for Bea and Rainbow. Drapes are able to be pulled over the window, leaving just a general breeze as the only feeling of outdoors - it could be just like any other building now.
"Is there anything that I can do or get for you that would help?" Rainbow asks, sitting on the foot of one of the beds.

Lying on her back, pack, coat, and shoes on the floor beside her, the trainer rested and recovered as best she could. It was a little easier to think with the weighted pressure of a blanket across her body. "I don't know Rainbow, If I can see the ground it rushes up to meet me, and all I can think about after that is falling. All I can -still- think about is falling. I'm being ridiculous..."

"It's not ridiculous," Rainbow says. "You can't fly, and you're analytical. It's natural that you wouldn't want to put yourself into a situation where you could possibly risk death. Even though the people here go through the situation all the time, they've grown up with accepting that risk. It's like the volcano thing."
"But, you're safe here," she says. "It's nice, and sturdy, and you don't have any way to fall." She crouches down, close to Bea. "Do you.. want some food, or something? Or anything else, to help take your mind off things?"

"I'm safe here." She repeats and affirms, looking up into Rainbow's eyes. Her hands stop fidgeting, squeezing down on each other to stop the shaking and she just takes in the shush of the leaves outside. The breeze was nice, it was a warm day.
"A snack wouldn't be bad, i-if you don't mind?" Rainbow had a point, fear had a place and a purpose. Though it inhibited her tasks, left her feeling weak and anxious, fear kept one safe in healthy amounts. What she wanted was for the village to not be so high, but that was unrealistic. "Thank you Rainbow." Bee added with a hint of shame.

"If I minded, would I have offered?" she teases, before leaving the room, and letting Bea be alone with her thoughts, and the sound of the summer breeze.
It seems to take much longer than it probably was, but eventually the girl returns, with a small bowl of fruit, and a bun. "I don't know whether you wanted something sweeter, or more substantiative, so I brought both." She sits down on the floor next to Bea, and holds her hand again, gently.

Thumb gently brushing the back of Rainbow's hand, she sat up without letting go, sliding down onto the floor to be closer to that encouragement. Bee took in the offered snacks before going for the bread over the fruit, letting go of Rainbow finally. "I really appreciate this, I'm sorry for being a burden." Focusing on the tastes, the weight of her body against nearby surfaces, the breeze, and Rainbow's presence brought her a lot of comfort.
"Baied emits a constant low voltage. With some parts, I could rig up a little camera and speaker unit, so I could stay here, but still accompany you around Fortree..."

"I mean, you've have to put up with me for the last week," Rainbow says, laughing. "You really aren't being a burden here. Not at all. I like spending time with you, so... if it has to be in a room instead of outside, so be it."
"Uh," Rainbow looks a little perplexed at Bea's plan, but nods, "Sure, if you... want to try that. I don't know the first thing about that stuff, so I'll take your word for it that it'd work. Though... you said you'd need parts. And that would require going out to get them. So, uh, unless you're planning on staying here for a while, it'd probably end up being more trouble than it's worth..."

"Well... It's that or like... holding your hand and walking on the inside of the walkways and closing my eyes on the bridges. Even then, it might not be enough, but I don't know the first thing about vertigo. Has flying never caused you any hassles or fears before?" Her face heated, still feeling embarrassed about this very real fear.

"Do you want to try it?" Rainbow asks. "You helped to guide me through the region, it's the least I could do to try and guide you here."
"And... no," she says. "The most issues I've had while flying is that it makes me a lot more tired quickly. So... while I like it, and the freedom it gives me, I do end up trying to walk as much as I can. I feel a lot more fear when I can't fly, because... well, it's just my natural instinct to take to the air, out of reach of something threatening me. But I've also been able to fly for as long as I can remember, so, that probably has something to do with it."

"I want to make another attempt, yes." The girl agreed though there wasn't a lot of spirit to her words, nervousness hanging weightily from them. "It would make sense that you would be less scared of falling with means to catch yourself." Having finished some of the breads she selected an apple from the bunch and continued eating. Not typically one for large snacks or big meals, it was likely she was stalling.

"Alright, let's go," Rainbow says, giving Bea a reassuring smile. "You can bring that to concentrate on, if you want. It might help." She holds her hand out for Bea to take. "And we can come back here at any time, okay? Or stop and take a break. I want you to feel comfortable, and don't feel like you have an obligation."

A few deep breaths, and Rainbow's hand in her's later, Beatrice again found herself on the walkways and platforms overlooking the forest flood below. Her eyes, however, remained skyward and on the boughs and leaves overhead. "This... This is okay so far, just as long as I don't look d-down..."
Biting into the apple she'd brought along, the crunch and tartness drew her attention to the sensations rather then the fear, and to some degree it helped. "What sort of trees do you figure these are? They don't look to be coniferous but I imagine the city would be very exposed in the winter if they aren't evergreen..." She chattered faster. And with more gusto then usual, clearly still nervous. The subject darted about, and Bee's eyes only ever settled on Rainbow's face, her grip at the very least, was not as intense as it had been.
