With Dragonair the Majestic down, Nue is the only target available to the obelisk. Uh oh. bang crash boom Ow... hokay... Ferrothorn, you're up! The ninja releases her Pokemon onto the field and digs out another brace of battle-ready kunai from her pouch to chuck at the floating rock-thing.

Nue avoids most of it, but she's still singed. She takes a moment to spray the worst injuries with her last Super Potion. Ferrothorn bombards it with more exploding seeds.

The attack misses, but the Obelisk seems to be recharging after that attack, so nothing happens for now.

Nue braces herself and takes the attack head on once realizing she cannot evade it. (Rolled just high enough that Double Team's +2 wouldn't help) She's hurt and exhausted, but there's no escaping this fight, so continue she must.

Ferrothorn gives up its ability to attack for the turn to protect Nue! It's starting to wear down, but it's tough enough to hold on a bit longer!
Nue capitalizes on this to hack and slash some more.

Ferrothorn attacks again, and a large crack appears in the Obelisk's... shell for lack of a better word, and light begins pouring out of it. It seems to go out of control before flying backward and then forward, crashing into the building. Nue and her pokemon get the hell out of the way as it churns it's way through the ground, where it's top is on her floor and the bottom on the other floor it was firing into moments ago. As it slices through, Nue notes that there's another fight below her! What looks like a young girl is fighting with some ghost pokemon against... whatever the hell kind of monster she's facing off against. Looks like a person but split apart in monstrous ways, complete with insect like legs that extend out. Both parties are looking in confusion at the Obelisk crashing into the building, but there's not much of a moment to take it all in as the light from the gash grows brighter. And then... explodes! Everything grows real bright, and then she goes unconscious.

As the light fades, Nue wakes up on the ground outside in the parking lot. Next to her lies the other girl she saw, who is stirring awake.
Guess she's out! It's currently early morning in the sky, but looking up also reveals the skyscraper again, and Nue sees what looks like a localized dark storm cloud, crackling with lightning, around a few floors mid-way up the skyscraper (the bit that doesn't go above clouds itself anyway). She has this 'feeling' that the fight she just had was in there.
Not a good sign...

Nue decides that it's about time to report back to the others. This other girl ought to still have some Pokemon on her, so she'll be fine. She's been gone for what feels like ages, exploring what is supposed to be the Kanto region and learning what she could. Only time will tell if any of it sans the Tower of Doom(tm) will stick though. Hm. Last she recalls, the group was... in Mt. Moon? Eh, she'll figure it out eventually. With her shinobi training, getting through the Rock Tunnel ought to be easy enough. Heck, if they check a Town Map, it may just be that the Tower is already revealed to them. Either way, she has the details they'll need, so back towards...er...*checks map* Goldenrod then.

Nue silently departs the ranch on her own, having decided that she needs to finish rounding out her team. The best Pokemon she can think of is a Sneasel. Sneaky, vicious little buggers they are, which is perfect for shinobi training. She checks her Town Map and decides that, seeing as they're Ice Types, Mt. Moon is the best place to look (if only because we don't know if Seafoam exists). There are probably a few Ice-Type Pokemon up there. So, that's where she goes.

The trip to Mt Moon is fairly short from the ranch. (You can usually see it on a day without clouds from the ranch, it's usually a very pretty sunset) So it's not long before Nue finds herself at the base of the mountain.
Now, much like before, there's two ways to the top. Scaling the side, or finding a tunnel path up.

Nue decides to save her energy by taking the tunnels. It might be longer, but it's easier. Also less chance of pissing off hidden Geodudes or exploding Gravelers or the like.
