Nori... may be traveling seemingly alone if Nue feels like screwing with him. They head down some spiral stairs for quite a while, to the point they should feel well underground. At the bottom, a light shines down on them, and a voice comes over a speaker. "Well, well, well! Couple of trainers here for a challenge, eh? We'll show you wankers a challenge, alright! WELCOME TO THE MOSH PIT!" The lights turn on, and the stone room is lit up to reveal a small arena SURROUNDED by rock types. Music blares over the speakers and the pokemon start jamming crazy to the music. Although Gwen and Stella notice there is a spot for them to stand off to the side of the arena. "Listen up! Each of you get four pokemon. You throw em in, and you fight in a double battle. Thing is, this is still a mosh pit. Get pushed out, and that's an instant KO for your pokemon, OR ours. Oh, and if you think about being cute with flying or levitation... don't! You'll regret it! LETS TURN IT UP TO 11! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!" Two Geodude (one looking a little more 'shocking' than usual jump into the fray! Map Link

Nue blinks. Oh, so they are using Rock Types? And they're grouped up? That should make this easy. She sends out her newly-evolved Ferrothorn and immediately commands it to annihilate the two Geodude with a Mirror Shot. (Nue is unfamiliar with Alola's existence, let alone its regional variant Pokemon.)
Init - 5
Nue issues Focused Orders to help make the shot.

Rock-types... and that's an Alolan Geodude, so it's Electric. Better to try and keep Ordira out of the way just for the moment, then. Besides, Nori doesn't actually like mosh pits much - if somebody's inconsiderate, a short, frail dude can get into serious trouble in one of those. So it's time to send in someone tall enough to see over them. "Behold the World Tree! Come on, Baobab!" Baobab's long trunk towers far above the mass of Rock-types, and his coconut-heads look around curiously. "This is a mosh pit - let's keep time! Show 'em what you can do, buddy - Dragon Hammer!"Baobab sways back and forth to the beat as he lumbers forward, then swings his whole body down across both Geodude, since they were so nice as to line up for him. Nori uses Focused and Brutal Orders! Baobab uses Dragon Hammer in a Line 3, targeting both Geodude. The two geodude somehow manage to stay in there despite the battering. But they laugh as they realize that both of their opponents are a lot closer to the sides of the arena. Nue already doesn't like this place. It's loud and obnoxious and in-your-face. Couple that with the fact that the objective is not 'assassinate' (KO) the enemy, but "do so without being pushed by a Tackle" and she is quite nettled. Not that she shows it. Rules are rules though, so out Ferrothorn goes. Dragonair will come in (if necessary) to finish the job, if only because it can deal super-effective damage or even grapple the things to make Pushing harder (supposedly).

Nori grumbles when Baobab is forced back, and he recalls him before the crowd of Geodude at the edge can do more damage. He's not a fan of having his best weapon against the Rock-types taken out early, but the maneuvering is a problem. "Didn't realize they could push him that far. Okay, fine. Time to come in from the other side."He lobs his next ball high in the air, calling out over the music and the noise of the Pokémon. "Queen of the monsters, Ordira! Let 'em hear you!" Ordira obligingly lets out a roar as she drops into the center of the arena, lashing her tail. "We'll show them they can't shove us around! Show 'em your teeth, Ordira! Ice Fang!"Ordira bares her fangs savagely, a cold fog gusting from her jaws. Then she lunges at the less hairy of the Geodudes, snapping her icy teeth at it. Ordira roars in pain as the Geodude's punch connects. Nori yells, "C'mon, girl! Shake it off and hit 'em back hard! It's still a rock - douse it!"Ordira does shake herself, like the electricity was water she's flinging off, and retaliates with a harsh spray of water in the Geodude's face. With her target this close in, she can still watch her back against the Graveler. Ordira staggers and falls under a second electrical punch, and Nori grits his teeth. This is getting to be a pain. He waits until Dragonair's attack has passed to switch Pokémon. His voice rises over the noise of the gym. "Right, you wanna rock? Let's rock! Shake the earth, Anguihorn!"Heavy feet stomp the ground as the Rhydon bellows with his entrance - on the other side of their opponents, to try and avoid being caught when Dragonair attacks again. "Right, you've got hands now, let's use 'em! Hammer Arm that plant!" Anguihorn makes a wide swing, ramming his claw into the Lileep! Nue is most displeased. Fair may be fair, but first "you lose if you leave the arena in any manner", and now blowing up? What is this nonsense? This isn't even "tricky" anymore, it's just ridiculous! Fine. Eevee will go do his best to rip that Amaura a new one. With fire.

Anguihorn powers through the Ice Beam - and then the Graveler explodes. When the dust from the blast clears, Anguihorn is still standing, his rocky hide scarred and pitted and his arms crossed in front of his snout. Nori cheers. "Yeah! Takes more than a bomb to get rid of us!" That Aerodactyl is a pretty impressive beast, he has to admit, but he has an idea. Anguihorn probably can't take another hit, but Nori's got one more Pokémon, and Anguihorn has one good thing he can do before he goes out. "Nice Aerodactyl you got there, Aaron, but you said it already, yourself - this is a no-fly zone! Anguihorn, bring it down to earth!" Anguihorn digs up a jagged chunk of rocky floor and heaves it toward the ceiling - until gravity takes hold again and it plummets toward the Aerodactyl. Nori uses Focused and Brutal Orders Anguihorn uses Smack Down on Aerodactyl AC 2 vs VRJIBysV1d20+2, Crit 17+ 2d6+30 Physical Rock damage, and target loses all Sky or Levitate speeds and any immunity to Ground moves for 3 turns Anguihorn activates Cruelty! That first nasty bite was enough to finally take Anguihorn out - on the second lunge, Aerodactyl's fangs snap on empty air as Anguihorn topples down. Nori's down to his last Pokémon, now, it seems. He takes a deep breath. "Okay, here we go! Come forth, daughter of thunder! Elegantua!"The Elekid pinwheels her arms as she appears, electricity crackling between her prongs. She'd have been at a disadvantage against the Geodude, and lacking the power of an evolved form is still holding her back a little - that's the problem with how long Elekid take to mature into Electabuzz. But she's not a slouch, even so... and she's perfect for taking on a flying type. "Clip his wings, Elegantua!" "Kiiid!" Elegantua cranks her arms again, charging up power to send an unerring wave of lightning at the grounded pterosaur. Nori uses Focused and Brutal Orders Elegantua uses Shock Wave on Aerodactyl Shock Wave cannot miss. Crit check: iLd2PkF81d20, crit 17+ 2d8+12 Special Electric damage 1d20·2d8+12
