Just when Mayu was getting used to having two Pokemon up and moving, too. Fine then. Mayu moves back to take another shot at Wartortle, and Lambda follows with a glittery leaf attack.

Wartortle goes down, having no more tools necessary to keep going. Lapras gets close and sends a stream of scalding water at Mayu's back.
Scald AC 2 vs mWXJf2SJ1d20 Burn 15+. Damage: 3d8+33
Aleisandra happily adds extra bits to her Lapras' attack. Aqua Vortex and Fountain of Life activated on hit. (Both are Free Actions, so can arguably be triggered as one due to their trigger "your water-type Pokemon that hits with a damaging Water-Type attack" being the same.)
Fountain of Life: Lapras' attack takes a penalty to damage up to 3x Alei's Type-Linked Skill rank (18) or half of the rolled damage. It then gains Temporary HP equal to twice this number.
Aqua Vortex puts all struck targets in a Vortex while causing them to suffer a penalty to Damage Rolls equal to Alei's Type-Linked Skill Rank (6).
Alei then smacks Mayu again with a water-based uppercut.

Mayu staggers back, the attacks from both sides and the swirling waters nearly dragging her under. She perseveres, floundering backward and aiming another beam of cold at the Gym Leader. Lambda moves forward to join in on the attack.

Figuring that Tropius and Lucario are the most dangerous threats right now, given Mayu won't last too much longer short of breaking free from Lapras' vortex, Alei and her final Pokemon of the match turn their attention to these same two.
Alei disengages from Lambda and flings a wall of water at Alpha.

This time, the plant Pokemon shrugs off the ice (with the help of her Ice Brace, of course). She whips a leaf in Lapras's direction, while Alpha lunges for Alei. Meanwhile, Mayu herself struggles to stay in the fight, the water around her freezing and forming a thin layer of armor only to be torn away in seconds by the whirlpool.
(Temporary HP from Winter's Kiss keep Mayu from fainting, and will keep doing so as long as she keeps using Ice-type moves) Freeze-Dry vs Lapras: rUXgMmz11d20 vs AC 2 2d6+22 Special Ice-type damage Super-effective against Water-types, rather than resisted Vortex (DC 14): 1d20

Lapras is downed and Alei concedes the now unwinnable fight. Though not before shooting a brief glare at the Lucario that made it all happen. (Hey, just because she's a Gym Leader doesn't mean she can't be frustrated when someone runs rampant over her team.) She congratulates Mayu on succeeding (even if only because Taskmaster Lucario is OP) and gives her the Badge, the (digital) prize money, and Mayu's choice of Gym TM.
Mayu earns 1 Milestone, 2 Misc XP, 172 Poke XP, and 3,125 PYen. She may elect to take either TM 13 - Ice Beam or TM 55 - Scald as an additional prize.

Mayu is perfectly willing to fight, but is nonetheless irked by the implication she doesn't have a choice. She sends out Lambda and Omicron.

Lambda can't take a Poison-type attack of that magnitude, and goes down; Mayu sends out Rho to replace her. Omicron, just waking up, is also caught by surprise, and is hard pressed not to follow suit. It pulls through and aims a blast of psychic energy at the closest enemy.
