Miraculously, Epsilon actually manages to flop out of the way of the first attack, and almost the second as well. Almost. He beams psychic energy at the one attacking him up close, while a slightly disoriented Mayu circles around to try to hit as many of the Zubat with ice as she can.

Epsilon is not able to strike the fluttering Zubat, but Mayu ices two of them. The one attacking Epsilon tries to sap health from it while the other attempts to re-confuse Mayu with spinning lights.
