Vicky gives all of her active Pokemon 'The Talk'. At first they're confused, then they realize they were thinking of the wrong 'Talk'. No, this one is a pep talk/apology/admission of Liebling favoritism. Kay, having literal human-levels of intelligence (if not slightly greater), is obviously fine with it. Especially as she had her opportunity to shine back over in Cianwood. The others honestly didn't even notice. The 'favoritism' was 'normal' to them, so it didn't seem odd. It is Victoria's job to deduce which of their skills is best suited for a given fight, after all. Perhaps Liebling was merely the most versatile? Either way, it's out there now, they're all cool with it, crisis averted.

Jasmine is currently having tea with her husband, Volkner, at a small cafe in town. The Gym is closed at present, but will open again in the afternoon.

May blushes purple and thinks a moment. Since Victoria specifically asked her to pick a place...she wants to try some local cuisine!
"Let's go for seafood! I've always wanted to try Magikarp. I hear it's super tasty."
Normally seafood is not a breakfast thing, but that just means they get to wander around until lunch time! The Gym is scheduled to re-open around 3 PM. It is currently 10 AM. Perfect!

May hums appreciatively as she returns the passionate kiss. Before long, it's time for lunch! Said meal is a nice, quiet affair. Just the two of them (Kay went back in her Poke Ball so the pair could have privacy). Inevitably, the fun lighthouse and lunch date has ended. Jasmine is back at her Gym and awaiting challengers.
When Victoria arrives there, she spots Leader Volkner as well! Apparently he's here for the week and wanted to sit in on some of Jasmine's battles. He asks that you just pretend he's not here. He's only an observer. Jasmine, on the other hand, smiles politely at Victoria.
"Welcome back, Miss Victoria. I take it by your presence here that you would like a re-match?"

The date is of course awesome and many fun times are had and pictures taken, and then before long they are back. Volkner being here toooootally isn't intimidating at all! But she tries to focus anyway and faces Jasmine.
