" Are you ready for some more training, little guy?", Trista asks her soon-to-be-named Porygon the following morning. Since it seemed to enjoy transforming while it worked, maybe it would respond well to training with her other Pokemon? That was her goal anyways, as she leaves the dorm about an hour before breakfast, to give him some practice. Applying experience Training and Agility training to Porygon, in the Free Time slot before breakfast. The Grimer and Castform can play and/or watch as they see fit, but Trista is focused on training her first Pokemon.

At seven-o-clock, the alarm on Lyn's pokedex went off. "Ugh...five more minutes..." She grumbled feeling around trying to find the device while still half-o-sleep. When she found it, she tried to press the snooze button, but her tired state gave her difficulty. "Shut up stupid thing..." She growled as she finally found it. When the alarm went off again ten minutes later after the snooze wore off Lyn growled and threw the thing across the room before pulling the covers over her head and trying to go back to sleep.
However, throwing across the room didn't seem to end the alarm and instead just put it out of reach. Lyn groaned annoyed as she tried to put the pillow over her head and drown it out, but the alarm wasn't that easy to ignore. A part of her contemplated turning off the alarm and going back to sleep, but she wasn't sure if skipping the first day was a good idea, especially if she wanted to run for student council. Finally, Lyn grumbled and grabbed her bra from where she had set it and sat up and put it on, she thought she had heard her roommate leave back when she had first been woken up before the snooze, but having been half-asleep she wasn't going to walk around the room topless just in case. Once she was covered by her underwear, she went over to pick up the pokedex where it had landed annoyed and turned off the alarm.
"Stupid early mornings..." Lyn grumbled as she grabbed her uniform and tiredly headed toward the bathroom, her tired body half dragging the uniform. Hopefully a nice warm shower would help wake her up.

Lyn:
Walking down the hallway, you can hear what sounds to be an argument between some of your other dorm-mates.
“Anna, can you please start the fire again?” Adora sighs.
“No! Raina keeps putting it out and I’m tired of dealing with it. Someone else do it!” Anna frustratedly explains.
“Why don’t you just recall her?” Yuki retorts, sounding as smart-alecy as always.
“Because I don’t keep my friends in little balls!” You hear Yuki snicker. “Plus, Adora is the only one who’s cold. Why doesn’t she just put on more clothes?”
“I didn’t think it’d be this cold...Plus, I don’t have many winter clothes!”
“One of you go and do it so you can both shut up about it.”
“Umm...I did it.” Elizabeth adds, softly.
“Both of you are useless. For Arceus’ sake, the mute is more competent than you guys.”

As Lyn walks down the hallway she stops hearing the conversation. Annoyance fills her as she listens to Anna and her half-sleeping brain debates what to do. She needed to finish showering and getting ready and a part of her just wanted to ignore it. At the same time Anna had this same problem the other day and Lyn had flat out said it wouldn't bother her as long as the fire was lit and nobody was freezing. And not only was it now a problem, but Anna was being whiny and tired of cleaning up her own mess! And Adora of all people, the nicest one so far, was the one freezing for it. Hearing that Elizabeth fixed it didn't help things, however. It was Anna's pokemon that was causing the problem and Anna being a pain and trying to make someone else fix the problem. She looked down at herself and realized she really should shower and get dressed first in case anybody was squeamish about seeing underwear. However, at the same time her annoyance caused her to not care. It was underwear, it would be seen in the girls changing room, there were no boys out there, who cared? Holding the uniform in front of her as best she could, Lyn moved towards the argument, stopping at the end of the hallway rather than going all the way into the room. "Seriously? What the hell is your problem?" Lyn asked annoyed looking at Anna. "If your pokemon keeps making a problem and you are unwilling to stop it, then you damn sure better be the one to fix it when it's bothering people!" She snapped. She knew she was probably being bitchy, but she was too grumpy from just waking up mixed with annoyed about the situation to care. "If you are tired of dealing with it then I don't care about your pokeball problem. Either deal with it or put the little trouble maker in the damn ball and stop inconveniencing people because of your own laziness and failures as a trainer." She growled. "If the damn thing puts out the fire again and people are cold and you are too lazy to fix the problem I'm going to punt the little punk over the couch." Lyn threatened. "I think it would prefer a pokeball than a punting." Sadly, her threat was a bit weakened by the yawn that followed it as she quickly wiped some of the sleep from her eyes before returning back glaring. After a moment, she quickly turned and stormed back toward the bathroom. Oh god its too cold to be in my underwear...must shower and dress... Intimidate! 24BiCR_d2d6+1 2d6+1

Lyn:
Lyn’s feeble attempts at intimidation, don’t seem to have an effect, aside from getting an angry glare from Raina while she lays her head on Elizabeth’s lap. You think you see the glint of claws, but you can’t be sure.
“Lyn! Stop it. Yelling at Anna won’t fix anything. It’s her second day with her pokemon. I doubt you could call her a failure at the moment, especially without any training. Besides, she’s hardly from a city center like you two. Why, Anna and I both are still learning how to care for our Pokemon! Sure, Anna has a...different...method than I do, but I doubt anyone here has full control of their Pokemon yet, except maybe for Elizabeth.” Adora doesn’t look mad as she lectures you, just disappointed. She takes a break, though, to gesture over to Elizabeth. She’s sitting by the roaring fire with Raina’s head on her lap. The buizel looks to be in a state of bliss while Elizabeth pets her head.
“And frankly Lyn, I don’t like the way you’re threatening to hurt Raina. You should never intentionally hurt a poor lil Pokemon! Maybe they do things differently in the big city, but out in Ardus, we don’t take too kindly to that sort of thing.”
Looking over to Yuki, she continues. “Yuki, I know you’re from the big city too, but Anna and I can’t do everything for you. We all have to pull our weight around here to keep this dorm in ship-shape! You can’t call everybody names either. Elizabeth is a little shy, but we can’t just call her a mute.”
“Why not?” Yuki retorts, boredly.
“Because it’s rude.”
“Do you honestly think I care? She’s like trailer trash.”
“I’d hope you care, Yuki.”
“Whatever. I’m bored with you anyway.” Yuki ends, going back to her room.
Then, Adora turns to Anna. “Anna, you have to pull your weight around here too, okay?”
“I know, but-” Anna whines.
“We had an agreement about the fire, I know, but if I’m busy, you need to keep it lit. If you’re busy, I’ll keep it lit. Maybe you’ll learn something today to help you with Raina.”
“Okay…” Anna yawns. “When is the tea going to be done? I couldn’t sleep last night. I was too busy thinking about all the classes!”
“It should be done soon. Oh, and Elizabeth, thank you!”

When Adora chewed her out, Lyn was surprised and confused. Why was Adora siding against her? She had been trying to help Adora since she was the one who was cold. "W-what? You were the one who was cold I was trying to help you!" Lyn said confused. "And I wasn't seriously going to kick her or anything. It was just meant as a way to try and get her to fix problems she made. If my Vulpix made a mess I wouldn't expect others to clean up after her." Lyn said with a frown. "Its basic etiquette to fix things that are your fault. I assumed even someone like her would know!" Lyn said annoyed at having to defend herself for defending Adora. "But fine, whatever, I won't get involved. Whatever I need to get ready." She said leaving to go to shower. As she went into the bathroom and locked the door she couldn't help but be upset. Why was SHE the bad guy? Anna's pokemon was constantly doing the same thing and Anna wasn't stopping her. She could understand being unable to since new. But the issue was more that rather than fix or prevent it Anna was wanting others to fix it. There were countless other solutions be it pokeball, keeping away from fire, or the easiest just relighting it when her pokemon put it out. She undressed and got in the shower, turning the heat up as high as she could take it and trying to forget about it and cool down. She was annoyed at the shower size and lack of all the fancy details she had at home. No bench? No hot tub? And it was so small! Ugh...even a shower isn't helping my mood... She thought annoyed as she banged her elbow on the wall due to still being unused to the tiny size. Once she finished her shower, she dressed into her uniform before heading to her room and setting up her make-up and a mirror on her dresser and getting all ready with her jewlery, accessories, and make-up. This was the first day and she wanted to make a good impression and attract attention so that when she started running people recognized her. Finally after almost an hour, Lyn was ready. She headed toward the cafeteria, swinging by the school to ask about when the day's contest would be held and if the type was known yet. Once done she would head to the cafeteria to eat while attempting to be charming and make friends with students in line, near her table, etc. She would mix it up with questions about what pokemon people had, where they were from, what clubs, and the occasional playful flirt. Even though Trista is right in front of her, Elizabeth doesn’t seem to notice her at all, even when she looks up. Her sleepy Litwick doesn’t notice either, too busy snuggling into Elizabeth to care. Eventually at around 9:15, Anna, Adora, and Chaika come through the door. “Hi Elizabeth! Hi Trista! We’re back from the contest! Is Vess back yet?” Chaika asks. Elizabeth finally looks up, having to take a moment to get back into reality. She squeaks out a quick hello before Anna walks over, tapping Elizabeth’s legs. “Move over Lizzy. It’s been a big day for little old me. I think I need to sit down for a while….probably forever.” Anna says, sitting down as Elizabeth scoots over. “Don’t um..call me that.” Elizabeth quietly replies. “Okay ‘Lizbeth.” Elizabeth lets out a sigh. Adora sits down on an armchair near Trista with a smile. “Oh c’mon Anna! You didn’t even pay attention in most of our classes.” “Yeah but I went fishing in the cold.” Anna’s reply is quite muffled, as her face is now cuddled into the couch. “Well at least you caught something!” Adora then turns to Trista. “So, Trista, what’d you do all day?”
Chaika sits on the arm of Adora’s armchair, chiming in with her questions. “Yeah! What’s up with you?”Trista has bound the Rank 1 effects of the Study Manual!

Shying away as much as her current seat permitted when Adora sat down near her, she answers, "H-hello. She's not back yet, no..."
Trista didn't think that fishing was supposed to be quite as exhausting as Anna made it out to be, frigid climate or otherwise. Maybe she should have dressed warmer if the cold was a concern? Not that it mattered now, though. They'd decided to team up on her of all people! "Wha, what do you mean? I was in class, too... Or, I guess you meant after classes?". She didn't really want to spoil Vess' account of what happened, or ruin the surprise, and if she mentioned the Gym Battle these people would be all over the news, she was certain. And she didn't want to say 'I went out to look for some Pokemon, but couldn't find any and instead came back here because I was afraid to leave Olmia alone because I would get lost' as a matter of personal pride... Quickly coming up with a vague and nondescript answer, she continues, "Elizabeth and I just hung out for a while. Right, Elizabeth?" What was more, now they could ask her for the details, instead!

Elizabeth looks very confused, even blushing a bit, and she seems slightly upset to be put on the spot like this.
“I didn’t even know you were here...I thought you came in with everyone else…” She says, quietly.
“No, no. She was here.” Adora explains.
“Oh…”
“You must’ve just been too engrossed in your book darlin’.”
Breaking up the awkward moment, Vess walks through the door, Citadel and Nuri trailing close behind. Chaika’s face lights up as she turns to look at the new arrivals.
“Hi Vess! How did your battle go?” Chaika asks. “I know the results were posted, but I wanted to hear it from you.”
Adora and Anna look a bit surprised, both asking, “You can see the results?”
“Oh yeah, totally! They’re just automatically turned off to start with and you have to hunt around a bit in the settings, or you could just hunt around on the school website.”
“Gee your dorm is kind of obsessed with you.” Nuri says teasingly as she walks in. “You guys got any snacks?’
Anna raises her hand, face still in the couch. “I do. Not sure if my legs still work though…”
“Oh, you’re alive! I just assumed you were dead and no one was gonna mention it. Weird shit goes on at these rich people schools y’know.”
“I am dead.” Anna says as she slides off the couch, getting up as slowly as possible.
“She’s just being a drama queen.” Adora explains with a dismissive hand wave.
“You haven’t seen the things I’ve seen!” Anna yells back as she walks down the hallway towards her room.
Nuri shrugs and sits on the arm of the couch, even there’s still an open armchair or two. Eventually Anna returns, throwing a bag of Gummy Teddiursas at Nuri.
“Thanks. I love these things.”
“I um, thought we weren’t allowed to bring in outside food or drinks when we came here…”
“I’m a wild child ‘Lizbeth. I just can’t be tamed.” Anna explains, reclaiming her spot on the couch.

Vess shrugs in response to Chaika's comment, finding a empty chair in the room and flopping down onto it, making herself comfortable. "Well I won, so there's that. It was a decent challenge, but even if it was more difficult, I most likely still would have won. Citadel's shell is just too hard to crack, it seems." Vess sighs a little and closes her eyes, trying to find a little relaxation in the chaos.

While she was a little disappointed that Elizabeth wouldn't even play along, that was... probably what she should have expected. She was much more irritated by the talk about Pokedexes and 'putting the results up', and so ignored that bit... and whatever melodrama Anna was trying to sell. When Vess spoke, though, Trista nods at her claim and pipes up, saying, "You should have seen how many bites he took, Citadel was unstoppable."
Then she wondered sourly if they had recordings of the gym battles, too. It wouldn't surprise her, with how fancy everything else was.

“Don’t get a big head Vess, but it was pretty alright.” Nuri says between bites of her candy.
“Aw, now I’m sad I missed it!” Chaika exclaims. “Not that I had any doubt that you would win, I just thought it would be quicker and, yknow, Cole convinced me to try out the contest too…”
“Congrats, Vess.” Elizabeth says, just as quietly as usual.
“Yeah, good job Vess! I think Citadel is just like, unstoppable.” Citadel looks up at Anna as she speaks, looking slightly amused at her praise.
“We’ve certainly got the dorm with the most achievements so far. Very impressive!” Adora pauses for a minute before continuing to speak. “Speaking of, anyone know where Lyn and Yuki are?”
“No idea.”
“Haven’t seen ‘em since the contest.”
“Weird. Well, they’ll show up.”
After a bit of small talk, Anna heads off to bed, saying she needs to get some rest so she can go fishing in the morning. Adora follows soon after so she’s well-rested for swim practice. Chaika takes the opportunity to move over to the couch and put on a movie. It’s some fantasy movie with lots of action and sword-fighting, and while it doesn’t seem bad, everyone seems to just be using it as background noise.
Cutting it very close to curfew, Yuki comes back.
“Hi Yuki! Do you know where Lyn is? At this rate she might break curfew…”
“I don’t know. It’s not my job to babysit her. Something weird was going on, I guess. She’ll be back later.” Yuki sighs, obviously annoyed. “Look, I’m just gonna go to bed. Don’t bother me.”
“O-okay...Night!”
As it nears curfew, Chaika asks Nuri, “Shouldn’t you get back to your dorm?”
“You guys want me gone already? Wow tough crowd.”
“No no, it’s not tha-”
“I know cutie, but you don’t need to worry about it. Little old Nuri can handle herself.”
Around 10:30, there’s a knock at the door. Everyone assumes its Lyn, but Chaika goes to answer it anyway. Surprisingly, it’s Ms. Davenport.
“Good evening Chaika. Can I come in?”
“Oh, um...sure…”
Ms. Davenport comes in, facing the girls. “Good evening everyone. We just wanted to let you all know that there was a problem with your dorm-mate Lyn’s registration, and she was mistakenly put in this dorm. She’ll be moving to another dorm tonight and attending new classes tomorrow. In a few days, you’ll have a new student joining your dorm because of this. During tomorrow’s classes, someone will come by to pick up Lyn’s things. Any questions?”

Trista had rather enjoyed how impressed they all were with Vess' victory... although accomplishing anything half as impressive seemed all that much tougher in comparison.
She was also glad when things started to quiet down. She had to admit that her dorm-mates could be fun. In moderation. More fun, though, was this movie that Chaika put on! She figured it was action-y enough that she figured maybe Castform would like to watch it, and maybe she could practice commanding the little cloud even if he didn't! But first, Trista tried to get him to watch the awesome movie with her.
Yuki barging in, snapping and heading off to bed was an... unpleasant disturbance, but she was Yuki had probably had a long, tiring day. She mostly ignored the arrival and departure of their dear, crabby roommate. The movie was more exciting right now, anyways!
When Miss Davenport arrives to deliver her own unpleasant disturbance, though, Trista thinks better of just tuning the teacher out... Before she can blurt out either of 'did Yuki know' or 'but was Lyn back before curfew', she asks from just in front of the television, "Will they know which is hers and which is mine, Ms. Davenport?"

Vess watches the movie passively, taking the time to clear her mind and relax for the evening. She and Citadel deserved it, after all. When the news of Lyn's non-return reaches her, Vess merely snort and mutters under her breath "Good riddance", then continues to watch the movie.

During the movie, Trista’s Castform seems to enjoy itself quite a bit. It flies around Trista’s head in excitement while it watches, making squeaking noises at all of the exciting parts.
“That’s too bad! I’ll miss her, a little..” Chaika says, sitting back down on the couch.
“Of course.” Ms. Davenport explains. “She’s given us descriptions of all her things, so no need to worry. If there’s no more questions, I’ll be going. Before I go, though, Nuri, what are you doing here? It’s way past curfew.”
“Well ya se-” Nuri begins.
“Don’t even bother. Just come with me. Enjoy the rest of your night girls.” Ms. Davenport says, gesturing for Nuri to follow her out.
“Guess I’m out girls. See ya in class.” Nuri says with a smile and a wave before closing the door behind her.
“Well, that was weird…” Chaika comments. “I should go to bed, but um, Vess, do you want to do something tomorrow? If we’re gonna be roommates I wanna be besties too!”

As much as Trista had enjoyed the movie, Ms. Davenport had kind of ruined the mood... She didn't much feel like watching the rest. Or, now that she thought about it, being the last one up. She might have to attempt cleaning up the movie thingy if she did! She does resist slinking away silently, though. Instead, she gets up, starts herding her Castform to their room, and says, " Off to bed, too... Good night, you three..." Sleepy time, at long last! Since Trista already did everything she planned to do in the dorm, there's nothing distracting her from a long, boring sleep...

Vess turns to look at Chaika for a moment, and blinks a few times. On her face, it probably just looked like her normal blank expression. However, inside, the day had just been elevated from 'good enough' to 'best day ever'. Chaika wanted to be best friends with her. Chaika wanted to be friends. Chaika was her roommate and wanted to be best friends with her. If this was a dream, she was almost certain she would die of disappointment when she woke up. She takes a few more seconds to respond, then nods slightly, standing up and heading towards her room, and sleep. "Sure, I'm down for whatever. Anything in mind?"

“I know there’s a bunch of cafes around here that have like music and stuff, and um, we could get some coffee or something and get to know each other or something! Oh, or we could go shopping? And um, don’t worry about paying, I can cover it.” She says while turning off the television and joining Vess in her walk to their room. “Or um, we can do something else, if you want! I don’t mind! But um, I think we’re both really tired, so let’s talk about it more in the morning, alright?”
Soon after the two say goodnight, Chaika is out cold, sleeping soundly in her bed. Eventually everyone else is too. In your next post Hay, feel free to mention any mechanical stuff Vess did last night.
When morning comes, Anna, Adora, and Elizabeth are up and gone quite early, but Adora makes a pot of coffee for all the girls before leaving. The rest of the girls are around though, some getting up earlier than others.

In the morning, Trista figured that Vess would have important friend-stuff to discuss with that singer-girl, and so decided not to wait around before heading out.
She does make sure to try training her Pokemon before breakfast, though. Maybe this time they'd be able to focus! But probably not... One day they'd listen, one day...
When she's finished that chore, its off to the cafeteria! Trista would need to regain her strength after trying to keep her motley crew focused.

“Well, you could always go into town and check out all the shops.” She says as she sits up. “Or you could always just look up stuff on the internet. That always takes up stupid amounts of time.”
