The man (who has indeed moved aside in order to not get trampled or in the line of fire or anything) gives Requiem a confused look when Silas mentions meddling with his mind, but she either doesn't notice, or doesn't pay it any heed. What she does do, however, is glare at the Technicians. "Oh, I'm sure. Just investigating. So you can tear out the last things that I care about out from under my feet." Her voice is vitriolic. "And no. You killed my sister, though she liked taking on a semblance of my form. So I can see how you may have thought that. But you don't need to worry about that any longer. In fact, you won't need to worry about anything at all very soon." Her eyes blaze, and a shimmering in the air appears around her clenched fist. Now that the door's less cluttered, too, the Pokémon within are a lot more clear. There're two large, green lizards, one looking more reptilian with blades on its head, while the other looks a lot bulkier. Near them is a floating bundle of pink-and-black shapes, that seem to form themselves into some semblance of a humanoid. On the other end, closer to where the portal is on the wall (and the door into the back rooms), is the red monkey-ish creature, followed by a black-and-yellow striped biped. Map

So much for the whole non-violent approach. It had been a long shot anyway. The civilians were an added complication though, Blake would have to keep an eye on them. They weren't willingly involved with this. Probably. "Look, I don't know what it is you're planning but I'm not gonna let you run rampant through the city with those Pokemon. Oh, I don't know if you've noticed but we've done a pretty good job of stopping you so far." In a slightly more serious and quiet voice, Blake addresses his partners, "I'll secure the door. Though she doesn't seem the type to run. Bit too much rage at this point." He releases Radiant just inside the room. Fat chance the woman's Pokemon could get through her. Radiant: spd 5 (Released at P8) Blake: spd 20

If it came to stopping a criminal, well... That was their job. So Thoron proceeded to business as usual and spurred Lowe inside. " A bit. A sound plan, though." he agreed. For the Technician himself, going inside wasn't a priority. He could see plenty from where he was. Lowe to R8 or nearest available tile. Lowe init: 22 Thoron init: 10

Silas matches Blake's low voice. "Sounds good. And remember the plan: keep fighting even if she messes with your mind. I'll try to focus her on me." The medic then speaks up. It's not exactly kind to pick at killing her siblings, but it's not like they're innocent either. "And there a chance is she runs anyway. She knows how to cut her losses."Chlori (Salazzle) at Q8. "Yes, and cutting my losses involves killing you," Requiem retorts. The girl behind her glances at her saying this, before looking back at the Technicians, while the man looks to be keeping very much out of the way. Almost before anyone can blink, the collection of floating polygons darts across the floor, before standing in front of the line of Technician Pokémon. It briefly seems to scan over the assorted 'mon with its "head", before launching a blast of energy directly at Chlori, who just barely is able to dart out of the way. Fighting Polygon Team misses with Psychic.

Not to be outdone, Chlori returns fire, sending a more accurate column of flame back at the assortment of shapes. Chlori uses Flamethrower on the Polygons! AC 2: 12 DB 11: 62

With the fighting begun, Lowe stopped giving the Darmanitan across from him the evil eye and took off toward the Electivire, fangs first. He had been training for this sort of thing, to take down large, slow targets like them. As Lowe raced out, Thoron focused his attention on the entryway. This many Pokemon escaping would be bad. Even putting aside what it meant for them... And he also added, " Or turning tail when the tables turn against you, too." Thoron (as Orders) applies Capricious Whirl to Radiant or Lowe, in order of priority. (-2 AP Bind)
Lowe uses Intimidate on Darmanitan (Swift), shifts to V6 and uses Crunch on Electivire. AC2: jcYT1i2M1d20+1, -1 def on raw 17+ DB10: 3d8+41 Physical Dark 1d20+1·3d8+41

The fire may be much more accurate, but the polygons suddenly disperse, blinking out of existence before reappearing some distance away. The fire splashes up against the back wall, splashing harmlessly against the metal. Lowe fares better, making a connection with its fangs, causing some pain to the Electivire. The axe headed dragon is too far away to truly do anything, but it begins to rush towards the fight, knocking aside a chair, as it lets out a blood-pumping roar. It seems like it's something that you probably don't want to let make contact. Polygons use Teleport to cause Flamethrower to miss. Lowe hits with Crunch. Haxorus uses Swords Dance.

"Ha, The only losses you'll be cut by are your own," Blake quips back, "Killing us is a little bit above your weight!" He steps up slightly trying to keep Requiem(?) in sight. Action: Taunt on Requiem the third AC 3 vs 16 Enrages on hit, -3 Accuracy for 1 full round regardless.
Swift: Activating Play them like a fiddle if it hits. +3d8+10 Damage on next attack that hits her.

"It's not just my weight that you have to deal with," Requiem snarls back. "Not that weight matters." She flicks her hand, a blast of psychic energy rippling towards Radiant, pushing her back further into the doorway. Over by Lowe, the large striped biped begins to hum and glow, before a crackling sheen of electricity seems to cover every surface in the room. It cackles, and seems to be powered up, judging by the lightning sparking from its limbs. The red ape moves to take advantage of its taking up Lowe's attention, moving behind him, right by the man, who flinches a little bit. It turns and tries to careen into Lowe, though thankfully not able to turn sharp enough. The Tyranitar begins to stomp forwards, before roaring, causing stones to materialize in the air, centered over where Radiant is, and dropping down on the clustered Technicians and their Pokémon. Chlori's able to dodge out of the way, but Radiant and the two Trainers aren't so lucky, getting barraged by boulders. Thankfully, Silas, at least, is far enough outside that he's not hit. Blake hits with Taunt. Radiant takes 25 damage from Psychic, and has its Sp Def lowered by 1 (so, defiant triggers). A critical hit! Electivire uses Electric Terrain. Darmanitan misses with Flare Blitz. Radiant takes 19 damage from Rock Slide. Blake takes 44 damage from Rock Slide. Thoron takes 39 damage from Rock Slide. Chlori is missed.

"And it's not just our Pokemon that you have to deal with." Silas gathers a glove of ghostly energy around his fist and throws a punch at Requiem. When his arm reaches full extension, the power abruptly vanishes and re-appears at the psychic's side in a brutal liver shot. Seizing the opening made by his first blow, Silas lunges forward and sends another strike her way. His final step lands heavily, and with it, a wave of eerie shadow spreads from his location. Silas to P8 Silas uses Shadow Punch on Requiem! Crit Check: 20! DB 8: 46 Crit Bonus: 24 Play Like a Fiddle Bonus: 25 Total Damage: 95
Silas uses Mach Punch on Requiem at the top of the round! Silas moves to O6 AC 2: 10 DB 6: 41 Silas activates Pressure! Requiem, Haxorus, Tyranitar, and the Girl are Suppressed for 1 full round!

Radiant weathers the psychic shove and tumult of stone. It hurt but she could endure worse. She surges forward, spotting a tempting pair of targets herself. And a tidy way to get herself some revenge. Gathering herself fully, before unleashing a torrent of water. Enough that it seems enough to wash the two dragon-like Pokemon away like sand. More than it seemed capable of even releasing from one of her stature. Hopefully there weren't too many leaks to the level below. It leaves Radiant panting from exertion but standing tall in defiance. Shift: O7

Radiant's torrent of water crashes through both the lizard-like Pokémon. The nearest, axe-headed, one seems to weather it mostly fine, but the larger one roars in rage, parts of it clearly blasted off. Silas follows up that attack, crashing into Requiem with a flurry of blows, but she seems able to take it, though not unflinchingly. "You're foolish," she spits out at Silas. "As someone with that power, you should not be fighting to defend the city. You are a tool, and one that threatens their hold. If you get too strong, you will be cast aside." She coughs at Silas' shadowy aura. "And it's not just me that you have to deal with." She glances at the girl across the table, and nods. The waif launches herself silently at Silas, hands crackling in ghostly energy that forms into claws, raking both him and Radiant as she passes, before she daintily lands on the other side of the penguin. She seems to have gained a rather sadistic grin in those few moments. Thankfully, Silas' charm, at least, seems to absorb some of the energy. Haxorus is hit by Hydro Cannon. It's not very effective. Tyranitar takes 2 injuries from Hydro Cannon. Silas takes 36 damage from Shadow Claw. Radiant takes 44 damage and an injury from Shadow Claw.

Obviously more balanced than a flaming monkey that couldn't stay on its feet, Lowe was tempted to not pay the other one much mind. On the other hand, it had tried to charge into him at high speed while on fire, and what apex predator would stand for that! With a strongly-worded warning to the Electivire, the Luxray twisted around to catch the third Pokemon off-guard with a crackling bite, and then slunk back to keep both of them in his sight. Lowe uses Intimidate on Electivire and Thunder Fang on Darmanitan, then Disengages to U5. AC3 - rhFLWbVq1d20+1 DB11 - 3d10+41 Physical Electric damage
Thoron's action will be done on his turn. 1d20+1·3d10+41

Silas is thoroughly unimpressed with Requiem. Perhaps her psychic powers have dulled her ability to read people the normal way. He's never held any loyalty to the council, and he sure as hell doesn't trust them. "Of course they don't care, and of course they're hiding something. If you're actually trying to convince me, then stop with the word games and say it."
While her trainer is involved with physical and verbal fisticuffs, Chlori focuses on the other side of the room. She circles around Lowe and his foes, then spits a volatile wad of noxious fluids at the Darmanitan. Chlori moves to S4. Chlori uses Sludge Bomb on Darmanitan! AC 2: 6 DB 11: 60

The combination of the crackling fangs and poisonous solution knock the monkey back, staggering it. It clearly seems to have taken a beating here. "Would you actually believe anything I had to say?" Requiem counters, as her dragon steps forwards, axing at Radiant. The beast hits the wounds already caused by the girl, digging deeper, and causing the penguin to cry out before fading away into energy and returning to Blake. The dragon roars in triumph, as it glares around at everyone else, Blake in particular. Requiem gestures, a look of disgust and anger on her face, and Silas feels himself being telekinetically punched a little ways backwards through the air, as her yellow monkey-thing actually punches Lowe. It seems to be able to charge the air enough to actually light its fist on fire with all that electricity, and that fire transfers over to Lowe. The red monkey that had been staggered before seems to catch its breath, somewhat... and, as it does, it appears to change. Limbs shrink, its colour shifts from red to blue, and it begins to float off the ground. It moves past the man, into the middle of the brawl... before locking impassive eyes on Chlori - and firing a psychic blast off at her. This time, at last, she is unable to avoid it in time, writhing and shrieking as the blast batters her around. But, she's still up, hissing at the impassive blue face before her. Chlori hits with Sludge Bomb. Darmanitan takes an injury from Thunder Fang. Radiant takes 48 damage, an injury, and Faints from Assurance. Haxorus triggers Frighten on Blake, for -2 Speed CS. Silas takes 36 damage and -1 Sp. Def CS from Psychic. Lowe takes 27 damage and is Burned from Fire Punch. Chlori takes 93 damage, and 2 injuries, from Psychic.

Gah those stones hadn't been pleasant. Not that anything a miscreant might do would be pleasant. Blake winces as Radiant is summarily trounced and by an unexpected combatant to boot. He'd been hoping she hadn't been involved in all this but hopes were easily dashed. He hops in place, hesitating before striking at the girl. Slamming a fist of his own into her. She wasn't at fault in any of this but that didn't mean she could be left to wreck havoc among them. The sudden movement is also a clever distraction as he releases Teris in the middle of all of their foes. The floatzel wasn't frail but he should be able to hold up well enough. Acrobatics on little girl. Ac 2 vs 8 DB 11: 46 Flying Physical damage
Shift: Release Teris to M8 Teris Initiative 25

With all the mayhem raging inside, Thoron committed the devastatingly strong Dragon Pokemon to memory and then moved to a position where he could monitor Lowe and the exit. Then he helpfully interjected his thoughts on all that treasonous talk, " It would take a fool to believe something they have yet to hear, Requiem. Or to ask others to believe you on blind trust." Activating Chronicler on Haxorus (Swift, -1 AP) Activating Commander's Voice (Standard): Capricious Whirl and Focused Orders (-2 AP Bind) on Lowe. (Lowe's evasion increases to 5 Physical / 7 Special / 6 Speed) Thoron shifts to P11.

"Why would I waste my words if you are to simply dismiss them out of hand," Requiem asks, irritably. Blake's punch hits the girl... and her form wavers, revealing a tall, thin, almost skeletal creature in the shape of a female humanoid. Its constituent parts float apart, yet clearly hold a build, it's hands formed from sharp claws. It's a little unsettling, though, as it has no face, not even indentations. It clearly turns to look at Blake, though, and lets out a loud, shrill screech, causing the man over in the kitchen area to wince and cover his ears. He seems to be nervously scanning the entire thing. Blake realises, all of a sudden, that his muscles have tensed up in pain after hitting the girl-thing, and he can't actually bend them in such a way as to pull it off again. Teris also has a similar seizing experience, at the large dinosaur's fangs crackle with electricity, surging into the weasel. It's somewhat mitigated by the brace it has, but the room causes a boost in the charge. The polygons finally begin to move again, gliding over towards Lowe, before unleashing a barrage of brilliant, bladed beams at the Luxray. It's a very solid strike, weakening the Pokémon. Over at Blake, the once-girl curls her clawed fingers into a fist before a shadowy aura surrounds it, which she crashes into him. Thankfully, his armour absorbs some of the blow, but it still hurts. Blake hits the girl. Her Illusion breaks, and she triggers Cursed Body to Disable Acrobatics. Teris takes 70 damage, 2 injuries, is Flinched, and is Paralyzed from Thunder Fang. A Critical Hit! Lowe takes 61 damage and 2 injuries from Psycho Cut. A Critical Hit! Blake takes 34 damage and an injury from Shadow Punch. Map

Highly competent he might have been, but the battle had taken its toll on Lowe. More to the point, Thoron knew his Luxray's time was limited, and responded accordingly. At the Technician's command, Lowe abandoned dueling the Electivire outright as it honed in on its latest attacker, the oddly geometric Pokemon at the back of the room. Thoron Chronicles the Polygons (Swift Interrupt) -1 AP Thoron applies Focused Orders to Lowe. Lowe shifts to T3, taking an Attack of Opportunity from Electivire (29 Normal Physical = 17 damage) Lowe uses Crunch on Polygons. AC2 - wl6iMCTv1d20+2 (Lower defense by 1 on 17+) DB10 - 3d8+41 Physical Dark damage Lowe takes 12 damage from Burn! After this action, he has 3 HP remaining. 1d20+2·3d8+41
