About Me: I'm 26 years at the time of writing this (2016). I'm really into Pokémon as a world, as a collection of creatures with great designs. That's why, personally, I'd much rather roleplay as Pokémon than play video games about them. I'm mainly looking for games with no humans in them - you could call them PMD, but there doesn't need to be dungeons of guilds or anything for me to enjoy them. The aspect I'm interested in is roleplaying as Pokémon.
Roleplay Tendencies: You can count on me to post detailed and often. In all the PBP games I've been in so far, I've been the player pushing for it to continue. (So far, all but one of the games I've been have suffered GM dropout, unfortunately.)
I tend to go into detail when I write roleplay posts. Nothing ridiculous, but something that tells a pretty story.
I strategize in combat, and emphasize character interaction and personality out of combat.
Roleplay Experience: I've been roleplaying since I was a kid. First over IM with a friend, then over different kinds of chat clients or chatrooms as I evolved. I'm most experienced in playing my Pokémon character (of which I have many) opposite another Pokémon character, with humans not being part of the equation. Yup, it was all one-on-one.
Edit: Ah, I forgot one thing I did. It was a forum dedicated to crossing over a fandom with Pokémon trainer adventure. Not quite a forum like this one - the forum was for one adventure only, with the boards being set for different locations and such. There was no crunch, just roleplay. I played a bumbling, comedy relief Team Rocket member, as well as a couple different protagonists, as well as serving as one of the team of people who roleplayed the various wild Pokémon whenever an encounter was going down with a different trainer.
PTU Experience: I started playing tabletop in 2014, and yes, it was PTU. That's the only system I know right now. I'll admit I can get pretty confused with the crunch sometimes, thanks to my anchor in crunch-free, one-on-on RP.
I've played a handful of different PTU (and even fewer PMD) games since then, but, so far, all but one of the games I've been have suffered GM dropout. So I've yet to experience anything lategame or even midgame. I'm still trying, though.
Me as a GM: I have about four campaign ideas I've been drafting, all of them Pokémon-only.
