The pair manage to get about hallway to the plinth, before Morania's ears twitch, and she turns and catches notice of them. Glowering from her "high" perch, she stares down at them, before demanding, "What are you doing here? Agh, Selyn, that useless snake. He hasn't had to do much for Moons, and this is what happens?" Sparks shoot from her cheeks in irritation. "Fine. I'll get on him to stop getting soft after this, but I guess now I'll have to do it myself. Why do you disturb me like this? Rrrgh!" That last bit is accompanied by Moriana glowing and crackling with electricity, clearly building it up.
Donovan knew he would have to really play up the villainous aspect if he wanted to try and help Selyn get into less trouble after all of this. A wicked laugh escaped his lips as he covered his mouth with a flower "Oh that wannabe snake? I took him out as soon as he came around the corner. He didn't stand a chance against my toxins." He turns the flower towards Morania after casually walking forward "And neither will you. I'll show you what happens when you don't just cooperate"
The tips of the petals begin to fold inward before glowing a dark purple and violently exploding outwards, bringing with them a hailstorm of glowing needles, all headed towards the Electric Leader
Mica didn't have any words for Moraina, and it was probably better if she just let Donovan say and do whatever he was going to say and do. She'd ask him to explain it later. Her little feet moved furiously, at times she hopped, others she rolled, tumbling and bouncing along towards Moraina, before swinging her 'branch' with incredible force.

"How cute," Morania sneers. "You think that you can take me on?" She sharply inhales at the needles stabbing into her, before plucking them out. "It's but a scratch. Nothing more. And I will punish you for that impude- oof" She gets interrupted at Mica slams into her. "Alright, that actually hurt. So you first." With no further fanfare, she unleashes the build-up of electricity directly into Mica, the Bonsly feeling arcs of lightning returning some of her life force to the mouse.
Donovan rushes past Morania as she was distracted with Mica, almost brushing her face with a flower covered hand as he passes with a wink "It's all well and good that you think you can stop us, but this is mine now"
With that he reaches out and wraps his arms around the Plate before bracing himself for the ejection from the Temple
Morania looks like she wants to say something, but her face quickly slips into befuddlement and concern, yelling something wordless as the Temple fades away. Her expression is just incredulously stunned.
Outside the temple, despite the clear sunny blue sky, a chill wind blows across the ocean as the Trainers reappear in their human form, the plate clasped in Donovan's hands. As before, the yellow stone glows, and streaks of light arc off into the air. This time, however, several land nearby... in various spots in the ocean. And in the span of a single blink, what was once water, now seems to be filled with... liquid electricity. The way the Trainers' hair stands slightly on end speaks to that, at least.
Pokémon still seem to live in it, though. Various serpentine creatures, some like Salyn, others less recognizable, arc across the surface, and there are unfamiliar floating red jellyfish in the air. Other than the bay, though, the land within sight still seems to be normal.
"I don't know, it doesn't really look like water anymore. At least not normal water." Mica moved to the edge of the Bay of Lightning and considers the rippling lights for a moment, and the Pokemon flitting through it.
As the two stare out over the ocean of electricity, strangely lapping at the 'shore' with little arcs zapping out from the 'crests', they realize... something is staring back, with large red eyes. Seemingly aware that it's finally been noticed, the shape launches itself out of the water, arcing its neck, sparks from the ocean sizzling against the ground, or tingling where they hit skin.
After its dramatic entrance, the yellow serpent lowers itself down to the humans' level, and stares at them curiously, blinking languidly. The antennae on its head have periodic arcs jumping between each other, but other than that, it stays mostly still.

This....this wasn't something that Donovan recognized. Which meant it was either a Pokemon native to Vesperia, or more likely, a byproduct of them bringing the Plate out of the Temple and freeing more of the elemental energy. He still needed to fully grasp how that worked.
Slowly reaching down, he brought out his Pokedex and pointed it at the graceful creature, not able to look away from it for more than a moment out of a mix of fear and awe.
Mica slowly approaches the serpent, watching how its body glows and glistens, listening to the little buzz and snap of that long brow. With reverence she reaches out to touch it with the backs of her fingers. Moments like these were rare, a Pokemon just up and introducing itself without the girl's boisterous carousing. It wasn't quite as handsome as the Quagsire she'd caught... but it was still stunning. Beautiful. A sight to make the day a little better and ease her heart.
"Milotic, the Tender Pokémon," Donovan's 'Dex reads, "It is known to appear to those in need of aid, and comfort them. However, due to the naturally occurring circuitry on and in its body, those living in electrical conditions have been hunted to near-extinction for the usefulness of their parts, even after being declared protected. Only the tenacity of Feebas has allowed them to continue to survive in appreciable numbers."
The Milotic reaches forwards a little to allow Mica to better touch it. As she does so, she feels the ambient tingle from the ocean die down, her hair no longer slightly standing on end. The serpent itself feels dry, the ocean of electricity clearly not water, but it's still smooth and silky. There's a slight hum from the creature, separate from the buzzing of the electricity.
"I guess it knows that we need help" Donovan says with a slight chuckle.
It was true. With half the Bay now living up to its name they were sort of out of luck on a way to get out "Well...." He takes a few steps closer to the Milotic "Please, is there any way you can help us get back to land? We have to keep moving.." His voice wavered for a moment, realizing just how trapped they really were. They couldn't even call for help...
"Oh... uh... yeah... I mean... my new friend got us here, but that was before the water was lightning." Mica looked up at the beautiful creature hopefully. "You're a lot bigger than he is... could you give us a ride to shore? Pretty please?"
The Milotic warbles a melody, peering closely at the pair, before deftly curling around them one at a time and gently depositing them on its back. Legs dip into the electricity, but with the Milotic never breaking contact, it's nothing more than a tiny, almost unnoticeable, tingle. It doesn't feel like either water or air - lighter than water, but more dense than air.
With the trainers safely deposited on its back, the serpent twists around and looks back at them, warbling again, seemingly asking which way to go. The 'ocean' is calm, and there doesn't seem to be any obstacles between the temple and the land where Hirmilik surely lies, barring maybe passing closely to a 'flock' of the floating jellyfish things. But... maybe that's a good thing?

With a smile, Donovan gestures towards the shore where he thinks Hirmilik is "That's where we need to go, and thank you" He gently pats it on the side before clutching it tightly.
Donovan is quiet on the ride, just sort of taking in the sights. He was still so tired from all of this. They hadn't had a good interaction with the leaders of the Temples in a while, something always seeming to go wrong. And he couldn't help but shake the feeling that something was off, that Axiom was going to show up soon. She had to know that they were doing the same thing as her.....right?
"Home.". Mica pointed after Donovan. Leaning back against him, she took in the tingling of her legs, the crackle and snap of the light as it moved about. Her thoughts turned to her grandparents and the state she had left them in, neither writing nor calling for some great while now.
Under her, the Milotic undulated through the currents, and the strange jellyfish bobbed in an alien surf. She let the silence hang, and meditated on the ongoings in her shares life with Donovan and her Pokemon.
The Milotic glides through the electricity soundlessly, though it still produces waves and ripples in the electricity. Nothing actively bothers them on their way, at least, not until Donovan gets close enough to one of the jellyfish swarms to scan them.
"Sprike," the 'Dex reads, "The Electric Cell Pokémon. It likes to hide in cloudbanks, attempting to snag bird Pokémon that pass too close. Ambient Electricity from large groups of them has the capacity to charge clouds with enough electricity to cause lightning strikes."
Most of them mostly look curiously at the travellers as they pass, seemingly unable to decide what to do before the Milotic swims away, but, after leaving the swarm, it looks like one managed to attach itself to the Milotic. Somwhat near the end of the tail, there's one of the one-foot jellyfish clinging to the only part of the serpent it can manage to wrap its tentacles around. The Milotic doesn't seem to be that perturbed, or really even notice... and the jellyfish doesn't seem to know what to do now. It's like a Lillipup that's finally caught a car.
The thing seems like it would probably be easy enough to dislodge, but also close enough to interact with. Either way, the Milotic offers no great insight, as it swims towards Mica's home.
"It's so cute" Donovan whispers as they drift by "Little far from the sky though buddy" He gently reaches back to poke at it with a smile "My name is Donovan. Donovan Fleur. And this is Mica."
For some reason the confusion on the little electric type makes him laugh and he keeps humoring himself by talking to it. He had been far too serious lately and for the first time in a long while he was acting like an 18 year old on a journey of self discovery and not someone trying to save the world
"So, are you hitching a ride all the way to the other side of the Bay with us? You'll get pulled really far from your friends back there. Unless you're wanting us to be your new friends?"

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
