Ivalice. A land built on a foundation of warfare. From the rise of the Dynast King Raithwall and his creation of the Galtean Alliance to the fall of Vayne Solidor and his attempt to become a Dynast King of his own power, conflict has shaped Ivalice into what it is today. Dalmasca and Archadia are both recovering from the recent war, and Rozarria has kept its distance since the peace treaty was signed. Now, after the collapse of the Sky Continent of Lemures and the addition of the Aegyl to the denizens of Ivalice, conflict seems to be dying off.
A recent development by Draklor Labs in the Archadian Empire, Manufactured Nethicite, has allowed the capture of the creatures of Mist known as Pokemon. Once trapped in the Nethicite, even the mightiest of these beasts will eventually succumb to the will of their new master, and if not then they're still trapped within the stone and unable to be a threat any longer. Finally being able to make a substantial threat against the Pokemon, more than just the strongest are able to make their way into the wilds, thus igniting the Clan movement on the mainland. Former soldiers and adventurers alike are forming Clans and heading off into the wilds in order to expand civilization into the lands once thought too wild.
Character Creation
You will be forming a new Clan, so make sure your character has motivation to either hunt strong Pokemon, expand civilization, or otherwise explore dangerous locales.
Trainer level will be 5 and starting Pokemon level is 10, and your starter can be any non Pseudo Underdog. It has one egg move at start and will get another at level 30 though both need to follow Tutor restrictions
One thing that’s a little different is the Races. Ivalice is home to 8 different races. In order to make each race a little different but not complicate things too much, each race has a skill raised to Novice and another lowered to Pathetic from the start.
Starting equipment
5000 for purchasing your starting items with weapons being 2000 for a simple and 4000 for a fine. No TMs at start.
Also you get a basic starting kit of 5 pokeballs, 3 potions, and two bandages
Banned
The only stuff banned is the Blessed and Damned stuff, at least at start, but any high tech stuff is magitech, so keep that in mind for fluff purposes.
Homebrew
No Dexp, No Experience Training, expect homebrew mon and fakemon at various points, and party size is restricted to 3 instead of 6 since you can't be attuned to more Nethicite than that at once without significant physical and mental injury and even death.
I will be accepting three players and will be making the decision by the 29th of this month, though it may get pushed later.

If it wasn't obvious by now, this is a game set in Ivalice from various Final Fantasy Games, taking place a little while after Final Fantasy Revenant Wings.
A little about myself would also be apt I guess, I'm Breakthelevee, though you can call me Break. I've been a part of the PbP community for around 3 years now and this is going to be the third game I've run through PbP, and the second time I'm visiting Ivalice in one of those games, though I have more experience GMing live games.

Humes; Start with the standard spread, being the most balanced race.
Moogles; Start with raised Tech Edu and lowered Athletics, a small race but also responsible for most of the technology that's been created.
Bangaa; Start with raised Combat but lowered Occult Edu, the Bangaa are a fierce race of warrior but the shape of their snouts make speaking arcane words difficult
Viera; Start with raised Perception and lowered Tech Edu, the Viera are a people of the forest and are not used to technology but they’re more in tune with the world.
Nu Mou; Start with raised Occult Edu but lowered Combat, physically weak, the Nu Mou are naturally suited for the arcane, even more so than Moogles.
Seeq; Starts with raised Intimidate but lowered Charm, the Seeq are brutish both in looks and demeanor in most cases
Gria; Starts with raised Command but lowered Stealth, the Gria are a powerful but direct race, dashing in on colored wings to deal with problems as they arise.
Aegyl; starts with raised Acrobatics but lowered Gen Edu, returning race to Ivalice, the winged Aegyl are still getting used to having emotions once more.
